- CHRISTINA (9/5): Overnight Stay - Cottage 7 was very clean and cute. Loved the chairs out front, we enjoyed sitting out there in the evening and early morning. We had a shared wall with our neighbors, we could hear them, but it wasn't disruptive. Love that the location was close to everything. The tv turned on, but no channels or YouTube worked. The fan had three speeds, all of which produced no air. A/C worked, but a little confusing to work.

The bedroom door wouldn’t close because of the dresser. The front door only locked some of the time. The floor was slanted. Out of 4 days we only had hot water for 1 of them.

- Stella (10/5): It was exactly what we were looking for, quiet, cute, simply, affordable, clean, tropical vibe, and easy reservation pro - The property was perfect. It was in a great location, close to everything. It was very clean and well kept and the cottages were super cute! The tiki bar and taco truck in the back were an added bonus with a great atmosphere. Nothing! We loved everything

The mattress was extremely lumpy and had no functional integrity. We had to run to Walgreens at 10pm the first night to but an inflatable mattress.

- dinog966 (8/5): Short Getaway on early Spring Break! - When we arrived on 03/05 at 3:00pm our room wasn't ready yet due to a plumbing issue caused by previous guests. The Property Manager had texted us at 1:30pm alerting about the inconvenience, so we were somehow prepared. They understood our concern after a long trip and assured that they were working on the problem in order to solve it in the shortest possible time. At 4:14pm the issue was fixed and we could check in our room #12. It was a very nice, spacious, clean and comfortable room, nicely and tastefully renovated. We had a great time and will be back for sure! Dino - Paola

- Floyd (9/5): I quite enjoyed Tropical Cottages and hope to return in the near future - It was an older (historical property, well maintained, with lots of charm and a lovely hostess that worked hard to deliver a satisfying product. It was very quiet and very easy to enter and exit. Close to the beach and restaurants. Very peaceful with wonderful landscaping around the Tiki bar area, and a very nice sitting area drenched in sunlight. The WIFI single was not strong enough to get a connection inside my bungalow but was obtainable in or around the tiki bar.

The added value of a tiki bar and food truck were great. The grounds very beautifully landscaped and maintained. Close to everything. I think since we stayed 8 nights, a larger cottage would have fitted us better as we also brought our small dog.

- David (9/5): It felt like we were in a cottage community - It was unique and comfortable. Although we didn't eat at the Taco restaurant, it was nice to have there. All the staff was friendly. It had wifi, although we didn't see it mentioned in advance. It was nice to have chairs on the porch No complaints at all. We were sorry we had to leave a day early because of a storm coming.
- asA1444DU (2/5): Stay away from this one! - there is a tiki bar just steps away from the door of the cottage, making it a very noisy place to try to sleep. There is no complimentary coffee, the limited toilet paper is NOT replenished (be prepared - bring your own!), no hangers in the closet, no comfortable chairs to sit in (there are no chairs like they show on the website), the "kitchenette" doesn't have glasses, a knife for preparing food. however, the oven worked to heat the room when the evening temps drop to 60 degrees.

- Michael (5/5): I loved the location and even where I stayed just was disappointed in things not being taken care of - The Location was fantastic and really close to where I needed to be. It was also very quiet which was another great value to my stay. During my stay there was no propane to use the stove and was promised it would be filled since I stayed there for 7 weeks and never was filled. Only 2 out of 6 lights worked in the kitchen, Ants all over the kitchen counters, The dryer never dried my clothes. Also when you pay thousands of dollars there should be a crew who cleans your place at least the floors, refills the shampoo, conditioner and body wash along with restocking the toilet paper but that never happened so was kinda disappointing. At least come once a week and clean and top things off in my opinion. There are people who live in the downstairs and room next to where I stayed full time and seemed very nice.

- Dora (3/5): Overall I feel like I was cheaper out on a wonderful place. It had so much potential. Not a fan. - I liked how easy self check in was. I also liked check out was easy too. 1. WATER FLOODS OUT OF WALLS!? each time you turn on the sink it would run down through the pipes and out from the floorboards and into the closet as well woke up with water at my feet. 2. The grill tools are NEVER cleaned I had to clean them as best as I could and the grill itself was disappointing didn’t work properly and yes, I know how to run a grill. I’m a chef. 3. The overall structure of the place was very poorly done they overpriced the heck out of the cottage only to find out the picture does not match what they said and what the said does not match anything. So false advertisement. 4. The staff did not speak any English tried to hold a convo but pushed me out the door basically and I was upset I asked for extra blankets never got them. Asked for an invoice never received one. The tiki bar was just stupid there wasn’t any “good” liquor there just mocktails and margaritas. No thanks. 5. Had the heat on only to get terrible smells from the unit Turned it off still smelled it for hours so strong I couldn’t sleep had to open both doors for airflow

But at the same time is a good things for summer season, having shower outside. (No one can see you there is wall that protects you) but is not a room is a outside space

They have a food truck on site and a little bar with a pretty big dinning area. The room was so freaking cute! Clean and we had enough room for 2 adults and 2 big dogs. They had a little kitchen with a fridge too. Honestly it was perfect for us!

Someone needed to run a leaf blower from 9 to 10 in the evening and again from 4 to 5 am. There is nothing that can be offered for us to return to this place. Getting someone at the front desk to answer my request for a receipt is impossible. Go elsewhere. There are far too many places that can offer so much more

I thought we were getting one of the small cottages. We ended up getting in the main building. Which appears to be a converted older house and everything was built around it. The walls are paper thin.

- Brian (5/5): Didn't get a cute cottage - The complex was cute and it was a great location. The retro kitchenette was adorable and super convenient. We did not get the room we booked. It was supposed to be a standalone cottage. Instead, it was part of a building with the office and 3 rooms. It was decorated completely differently from what we booked with heavy dark curtains. There were sugar ants in the bathroom and there was no hot water in the shower. The tiki hut over the outdoor bar had a huge tarp over it.
- Tomasz (1/5): Beware! Scammers and thieves. - nothing Beware! The property canceled my non-refundable reservation 5 hours before check-in. The booking had been fully paid for a month in advance, and I had already completed the self check-in form (arrival time, ID scan, credit card scan, etc.). In their correspondence, they lied, claiming that they were not the ones who canceled the reservation and that it was done by Booking.com. They also said I could rebook the same place—but at four times the original price. Booking.com tried to intervene, but the property didn’t answer the phone. To this day, they haven’t refunded the money for the reservation they themselves canceled, even though I sent them a message about it. They are thieves and scammers. Beware! Don’t book accommodation there, or you’ll be scammed just like I was. They’ll ruin your vacation. It’s not worth the stress or the money. They are fraudsters.

- Thierry (1/5): A éviter - L absence de rappel du propriétaire lorsque nous avons sollicité la réception pour un problème malgré la promesse. 2 chiens aboyaient dans la chambre d à côté!!! 15 mails pour nous demander de choisir entre plusieurs cottoges (mitoyen, non mitoyen...) et tout cela pour arriver et s' entendre dire qu'il n' y a plus de cottage correspondant à notre réservation. Construction en bois , très local mais le bruit de la route est donc très présent. Et de nouveau 3 mails le jour du départ pour s' assurer que nous nous allons bien partir !!! Absence

The only thing i didnt like was that they charge you extra $26 if you want to check in early. The bar prices here are cheaper than most bars in the area and the food truck/trailer food here is good quality.
