Helmts (7/5): - Die Aussicht und das Zimmer selbst. Es gab einige Arbeiten vor unserem Zimmerfenster. Der Pool war nicht gefüllt, obwohl die Bilder bei der Buchung etwas anderes zeigten. Wir erfuhren vor Ort von anderen Gästen, dass wir außerhalb der Saison da wären, deshalb war hier nichts los und sehr wenig Gäste im Haus. Ich schätze, dass aus diesem Grund die Sportsbar und der Cafeshop nicht geöffnet waren. Insgesamt gesagt, Zimmer vollkommen ok, Anlage toll, aber kein Freizeitangebot.

JAMIE (8/5): - This was our second visit to Shangri-La Resort (the first being over five years ago). Our room was very nice, clean and comfortable. We spent most of our time at the resorts pool and at The Anchor. I will say, the expense of the food and beverages was less than desirable. I would recommend guests to bring as much snacks and food as they can manage.

John (10/5): Great place - Very pretty and well-manicured hotel and grounds. Beautiful golf course/lakeside setting with large pool and "hot" hot tub, plus indoor pool. We were a bit off-season (mid May) and dining options were limited; several were closed. The golf courses are stunning.

There are no amenities included in this price. The pool area was nice and we did enjoy laying by it! There were so many conventions or something going on in the lobby the whole time we were there so it was a little overbearing . We would not rebook this as it’s a little pricy to just pay for the room. Town and any other food options are 25-30 minutes away.

Jan (6/5): - This property is probably great for golfers and/or families in the summer. We were here to visit family and relax a few days. It is the only hotel on the island but has very limited amenities during the off season while still charging resort fees. Although they advertise 6 restaurants none are open for breakfast. There is a starbucks kiosk with ready to heat pastries and breakfast sandwiches. I inquired about a walk in shower but they only have wheel chair roll ins and tubs. With only a few guests on the premises the hotel was still surprisingly noisy. Someone checked in next door and the doors banged shut all night and even woke me up at 5am. And every time their heater turned on it pinged until it reached temperature. Go for the golf and arcade, not for the restaurants and solitude.

Trent (8/5): - The bathroom door was totally inoperable and would not open or close without excessive force. We arrived late and were not aware until it was too late to report. We did advise the desk personnel on check out and she was very appreciative and said she would report it.
Randy (10/5): - Had so many things to do. Game room, pickle ball, golf, par 3 golf, great pool, bars just to name a few.

Dining (8/5): - Only negative we found was that our party of 3 were each quoted a different rate for the same type room.

The splash pad was not open when we were there and we were disappointed in that. The casual restaurant was very nice, food was good. Our room was very clean and beds were comfortable. The splash pad was closed during our stay.

Consuelo (2/5): - Came for the kids, did not have a working TV for the first night. Had to call the maintenance two times, was not fixed. Day two was moved to a different room that was full of marijuana smoke, the girl at the front desk seamed shocked that I had a problem with drugs being in my room. Was finally moved to a drug free room. Was told we would be discounted for one night, never happened. Food was limited, I will share my experience with Shangri-La.

My only thing I would change is adding a place for people to charge their phones that forgot their box and only had their cord. That’s the only thing otherwise it’s perfect

Had to drive 25 miles into town to get a phone cord, but I expected that. The facility is fabulous and the golf course is amazing!!! Just bring everything you need and you’ll be awe inspired.
Verified traveler (4/5): - Hotels is nice, very clean with great amenities. Even though hotel seemed to be at very low occupancy, i was placed in a room with a view on to a roof AC. In addition, i could hear people talking in a room above me, not to mention them walking or opening water faucets, flushing etc. Very poor noise isolation. Nothing to eat after 9PM. Plus for having working tesla chargers.

Sarah (6/5): Pleasant - Staff were very pleasant. Indoor pool was closed. They gave arcade credits due to the indoor pool being closed. However, several of the arcade games were out of service. Also, a primary reason for choosing this hotel to book was the outdoor hot tub which was supposed to be open until 2 am. This was also closed during our stay.

Stephanie (8/5): - This property is super quiet this time of the year, the rooms could be upgraded. The toilets need soft close lids and the showers are full of rust around the facets. The rooms are very small, but again super quiet this time of the year.

DONITA (10/5): We’ll stay here again! - Our room, the lobby, the restaurant, everything was immaculate & the staff was friendly & welcoming. The mattress was quite firm—a cushioned mattress topper would have made a better night’s sleep. No complaints, but a comment about a goofy component of our stay—the closet only had 1 hanger. I’m certain that had we asked for more we would have received them. My very favorite thing was that there were multiple hooks in the bathroom for our towels, and we rarely get that in newer hotels.
