The room was modern, clean and had all the amenities required. All staff very attentive and friendly but a huge big shout out to Rhonda on reception who was absolutely delightful - so kind and welcoming, referred to me by my first name and made me feel valued, organised a taxi and is a huge credit to the team. Great business hotel and highly recommended - thank you

I woke up at 4 am because my next door room mobile wake up alarm went off, surprisingly kept going on and off till 6 am! Also I think the price was too much for the room

Complimentary water was provided and additional water is provided at the bar FOC. Breakfast was really good, premier inn style breakfast but a touch nicer. Parking was good, made my life easier. The rooms are small, the work area in the room was also small but feasible.

- Thelsa (10/5): Calm, Serene and Welcoming Hotel - This is my second visit to Edgbaston Park Hotel and I was not disapponted. Fronline staff were more than friendly as well as helpful with even a complimentary drink for the Saturday night (although i noted I didn't receive one from my stay from Sun night, when I booked into the accessible room?). My room was an accessible one bar the heavy fire door, but that's to be expected. On entry the room was very clean and fresh in fact it was one of the cleanest rooms I'veever stsyed in and I'vestayed at quite a few hotels, even had complimentary dressing gown and slippers. I noted there was ample tea, coffee, water and drinking chocolate even a latte machine I think, non of which I actually drink but it was nice to see so much available. Staff were on hand to support if I was in need of any assistance. I have to commend the hotel on their selection of breakfast as I am renounded for booking hotels with breakfast included and actually not having it. But this time around I thought what have I got to loose. I was pleasantly delighted. From the selection of pastries, to the cereals, the hot section, the salad selection yoghurt selection even cold meat and cheese selection. Everything looked so fresh, the breakfast areas were kept prestene clean. Plus a selection of hot and cold beverages. What more could one ask for. And all the breakfast staff rendered service with such big smiles and were very helpful towards me. This hotel has become a replacement for another hotel I normally stay at because their overall package is by far the best I've see in a long time for Birmingham and for an affordable hotel. Edgbaston ticked all my boxes which is why I will forever keep coming back to them. If I could score them more than 5/6* I most definitely would give 10*. Excellent service all round. Even the swift repair of a dodgy sink and the charming repair gentleman. Edgbaston Park keep up the great service delivery. There actually wasn't anything I did not like. The surroundings and the atmosphere in general was very welcoming. Even strangers were very helpful.

- sheila (8/5): great location for the hospital and lovely staff - The location was ideal for the QE hospital. it was less than 20 minute walk through the campus to the hospital. The staff were very welcoming , the cleaners and reception always had a smile. the room was comfortable and very quiet. . the breakfast was lovely and varied. I had a disappointing evening meal. I selected brocolli soup as a starter that was thin and not very tasty but it was just a starter so I looked forward to cauliflower steak in korma sauce for the main. it was not a steak but a whole cauliflower so only the outer florets were cooked and again they were not very tasty . it was placed on a Korma sauce which instead of being light coloured and creamy with a mild coconut flavour as I expected , it was very dark and spicy not like a Korma at all and so I couldn't eat it. I complained to the waitress but I suppose as I had eaten some of the cauliflower florets she didn't make any comment and just brought the bill.
