• Arthur (9/5): Convenient, and comfortable. Just far enough from the bustle of the city. - Great location. Central York is only a short walk and the river is very close. Apartment very warm without having the heating switched on. Very hot water. Comfortable beds etc. Great shower. Parking with permit easier than expected and it’s easy to get a space. We wanted our 1963 classic car fairly close and it was simple to find a space near-by.

• Pudska (10/5): Great location and a good night's sleep without any noise from anywhere. - The location is superb, it's only a short walk into town. so no need for taxi's or buses. We didn't really spend much time in the apartment because we were exploring, but the lounge was cosy. we really liked staying here and we would stay here again. There could have been some complimentary shower gels and shampoos, maybe some laundry powder seen as it's advertised as a 5* luxury apartment.

It was very clean and spacious and has everything you need. Fabulous large walk in shower! It was in a lovely area and was very secure. The welcome package was a lovely touch. We will definitely be staying there again. Thankyou!

• Sebastian Armas (9/5): - Excellent transport access from the train station, with convenience shops nearby and very near to the city centre. The apartment temperature was rather too hot and we were advised not to change it, so we endured it.

• Kelly (8/5): Fantastic stay in York - Location was good ,close to the river and only a 10 min walk into the centre . There's a big Wetherspoons on the corner which was ideal for breakfast . We loved the free parking and the bag of goodies on the table ,also the tea/ coffee and sugar came in handy ,also shower gel, soap etc in the bathroom. The location was quiet and scenic and we would definitely stay here again Our only quibble was the sunlight woke us up so early we would take eye masks next time. A black out blind would be perfect in the bedroom
• karen (7/5): Nice place. Just a shame about the excessive noise from above. - Within nice walking distance to the all the attractions. Very well equipped and comfortable No fault to the property, but on the Saturday night we were asleep, and the residence above started making lots of noise and banging around at 12 o’clock at night, this went on till almost 3am in the morning!!! 😢 And as much as we loved the property, for that reason alone, we would not stay here again…

• Shazsam (10/5): - Great apartment in a good location. The bed and pillows were comfy. Nice kitchen with dining area and washer. Big lounge area for relaxing. Parking permit provided and plenty of on-street parking available. Loved this place. Had to carry our luggage upstairs.
• Ashley (9/5): Luxurious with everything you could possibly need supplied. - Everything that we possibly required was provided. It was very comfortable, clean and tidy. The facilities were excellent. The location was perfect since it was so close to the vicinity of the city centre. A 10 minute walk. In terms of security it was also very adequate. The lock mechanism on the door is faulty however this is something that can easily be amended.

• Suzanne (8/5): Prima appartement op prima locatie - Perfecte locatie op loopafstand van het centrum van York. Schoon en netjes, goed bed. Ook de bedbank in de woonkamer was erg comfortabel. Van alle gemakken voorzien. Gemakkelijk te vinden door de duidelijke omschrijving. Ideale uitvalsbasis. Het complex is wat gehorig (houten vloeren), dus je hoort wel de bovenburen heen en weer lopen. Wij hadden er niet heel veel last van, maar als je daar gevoelig voor bent, dan even oordopjes mee.

• Bayne (10/5): Exceeded expectations! - A lovely apartment and perfect for our stay. The bed and sleeper couch were very comfortable and the fan much appreciated during the hot weather. Loved the location and we throughly enjoyed the easy access to the York centre. Highly recommend this apartment.

The apartment looked spotless and smelled fresh so please pass on our “well done” to the cleaner. There was enough room for everything and we were very comfortable. We would highly recommend it. Nothing.
• Freida (7/5): Okay apartment with difficult appliances - The location is close to city centre. To enter premises you had to go through a locked gate, another door with code as well as the front entrance door a lock and then a key. The appliances for the apartment were all nice but difficult to use. We had to refer to the manuals to use. The body wash, shampoo and conditioner were on the shower floor instead of having a shelve in the shower. Since the apartment does not have air conditioner and we had to open the windows you could hear street noise.
• Kelly (4/5): Apartment 5 Blue Bridge Court - The location was good only a 15 minutes walk into the centre of town. Liked how we were only a minute walk to the canal. Lovely walk along there into town. Lovely bag of goodies which were a nice treat. The Apartment is old and run down and in need of tlc. It was not clean to a high standard. Cobwebs hanging on ceilings. Floor had crumbs on it. Blinds were filthy. Dirty sponge. Dirty oven gloves and tea towel. Cutlery drawer Dirty which put us right off so went out and bought plastic cups etc. Mircowave had to be cleaned before using. Washing machine was Dirty and long pieces of hair left behind and soap scum. Toothbrush holder had not been cleaned dried on toothpaste at the bottom. Every skirting board was absolutely filthy and woke early every day due to the light. No curtains . Will definitely not stay here again but would of if it had been properly cleaned. Nice apartment just badly needing a lick of paint as lots of marks on the walls. And no netfix as stated on website.

• Carl (4/5): get a better cleaner for in between stays.... - location was good, nice area..... we needed to clean almost everything in the kitchen, dirty cutlery, sink was slimy and smelly, microwave had rust inside, the hairdryer vibrated badly, dust, dirt and long black hair behind the window sofa, drain odour in bathroom and the toilet brush was disgusting....
• Kay (6/5): Due to unforeseen circumstances of a water mains pupe burst outside property it was not a great stay - Close to centre Bathroom smelt awful. Blinds in kitchen broken . Floors and under sofas had not been hoovered. Burst water main outside property, which obviously could not be helped ! This just made the stay very noisy with diggers and drills directly outside windows. So not the best stay for us.
• Mark (8/5): Good apartment and value for money - It had everything you would have at home. There was even an umbrella there - not that we needed it as the weather was great on our stay It was very dusty and the limescale was visible in the watered areas. Pillows were flat. Probably can't do too much about it without soundproofing the floors but you can hear people walking around in the apartment above - we must have been loud as well what with two young children running around.

The only negative was that the bathroom has an odd smell which you notice the minute you walk in, perhaps it is to do with the drainage. You do get used to it after a while, but other than that, the flat is faultless.

• Valerie (5/5): Passable - Apartment was quite central and in a nice location. Apartment could do with good spring clean,blinds,skirting. Bathroom sealant quite mouldy. I stripped the bed on morning of leaving, saw a blood stain on mattress protector,could do with a clean protector.
• Williams (6/5): Pleasant stay but a few issues that made it less nice (sewage smell/ duvet cover missing/noise etc) - Location was great. Snacks on arrival. Generally nice flat just some problems on our stay. Noise from other flats. Sewage smell in bathroom. No duvet cover for sofa bed. (Looked everywhere). Blind broken and doesn't hide the light.

Comfortable bed and sofa bed. We would definitely stay again. The apartment could do with some TLC and a deep clean.
• Joanne (10/5): Enjoyable and comfortable , definitely book again 😊 - The apartment is in a great location, took us a nice steady 20 minute stroll either by the main roads or by the river. Very clean , comfortable bed and everything we needed for a weekend or week in York . The little essentials were helpful for a cuppa on arrival. That dates weren’t available for our stay in December ( but not their fault ) shows how popular they are 😊

Well equipped & homely, even a Christmas tree with lights, snack basket & tea/coffee/milk supplies on arrival. This is the second time I have stayed here & would definitely book again. • Leigh (9/5): Lovely clean and comfortable apartment - Lovely flat, spotlessly clean and well-equipped. Comfortable bed with lovely bedding. Toiletries in shower, dishwasher tablets etc all provided. A home from home. Blind in the bedroom doesn't keep out much light. Property is next to a primary school which may be a problem if you're not up early (though comfortable earplugs were very thoughtfully provided).
• Maria (8/5): Very nice apartment and comfortable also close to centre for sightseeing - It was modern, close to centre, clean and a comfortable bed. That I couldn’t open the window snow as someone was smoking close by and the smell drifted in.
• Victoria (7/5): Good - Property was in a great location for the concert we were watching at the Barbican The property itself was lovely, there were a few issues with the cleanliness that concerned us, the master bedroom window was mouldy and the bathroom had a cup for toothbrushes (2nd photo) that had left over tooth paste and slimy water in the bottom. There were cobwebs on majority of the lights also which can hold be easily cleaned. The tv controller in the bedroom had no batteries so we had to manually change the tv Channels and volume which meant getting up out of bed to turn the tv off when we were going to sleep. The light above the mirror in the bathroom didn’t work So over all it was pleasant but the price we paid for we didn’t expect the things mentioned above.

• Dean (9/5): Very good accommodation for a City break in York. - Security was exceptional, cleanliness very good, location was ideal for the Barbican. Parking. We had 2 cars and could only park one using a permit. We did find a free parking area but had to walk 10 minutes from the accommodation. The multi-story parking adjacent to the Barbican looked secure but was expensive (York is a nightmare for free visitor parking of a night or more!).

• Steve (4/5): Disappointing - Spacious enough and close to the Town Centre. The bathroom had a distinct drain issue therefore leading the bad odour to permeate throughout the flat. Furnishings were tired and need attention. Same for the Kettle & Toaster.

• Rebecca (7/5): Cosy apartment a short walk from the centre of York. - Good location. Cosy apartment with nice kitchen and everything you could need for a short stay. The apartment got very hot and with only one fan provided it was difficult to keep both rooms cool if someone is using the sofa bed. There is a lot of noise from the street and from a large building site opposite. Not a problem though if you are out during the day. Extractor fan in bathroom not working. Would be great to have better blinds or black out curtains as the ones in the apartment let in 100% of the light which is a problem in the mornings.

Nice area and lots of local amenities Blinds did not hold the daylight out, woke early due to this. Tv did only work on some channels. No Netflix as advertised. Shower trap smelt at times

Location 10 mins walk along the river into York. Parking on the road, permit available, which is left in the apartment. The portable fan - could perhaps be updated to a better quality one, as you do need it, as the apartment can get quite warm.

• Roger (9/5): A homely stay in York - Very comfortable and well appointed. The agent and the owner were very helpful. There are very nice restaurants only a few minted away (Toto Italian ) ( Mirchez indian ) The boiler is adjacent to the living area which makes the room warm. The price reflects a 25 minute walk to the minster
• Cheryl (6/5): Well positioned property for the City Centre - The apartment was walkable from the City centre and had access nearby to the walk along the river. Parking was free with the provided permit on the road just outside the property. The property was through secured gates. The owner was easily contacted, friendly and sorted the problem we had on arrival efficiently. The kitchen/ living area was spacious and well equipped. A lovely welcome snack pack is provided as are some leaflets for local points of interest. Bed was comfortable. Useful to know is that the gala bingo hall it mentions in the arrival information has been demolished so don't look for it when you are trying to locate the property! There was a lot of general noise during the day from the other apartments, especially footsteps from the one above. However, I think it is the build and furnishing of the property that is the issue, so unfortunately, there is no resolution. (The owner had done their best by providing ear plugs), For us, it was an annoyance and we stayed out as much as possible, but for people used to adjoining noise, it may not be a problem. Also, the blinds in the bedroom let in a lot of light in the early hours of the morning, and it would be better if they were replaced with blackout curtains.

• Suzanne (9/5): A memorable stay in beautiful well equiped flat - The property was in a great location overlooking the river. I walked daily into and around York. I am 68 and husband 73, so not spritely but we were able to walk everywhere as it is flat and no hills to tire you. The location was near a fabulous cafe and also we enjoyed a lovely authentic curry (cheaper prices between 6 and 7.30). Supermarkets were on hand. A walk along the river into town was nice and quiet with lots of seats to rest should you need to. We took a river boat ride which was really nice. A visit to the Jorvik centre is not to be missed. You are spoilt for choice with eateries and lots of independent shops. The flat is only a 10 minute drive to the Designer shopping centre with a fabulous array of discounted stores. We will be back, but for a longer stay next time. Only disadvantage was the bathroom extractor fan did not work. This was the only disadvantage we could find from our stay.
