Except for the fact that we were accommodated after check-in time, and I personally did not like the beach, the entrance to the water, the hotel staff, they did EVERYTHING to make us feel good. I want to thank the Hotel Manager, who was omnipresent, the receptionists, the waiters, the pool team, the maids, and last but not least the chefs and the head chef. All the staff smiled at you and were interested in your wishes. A well-knit team that knows how to give you that wow. THANK YOU FROM THE HEART AND I HOPE TO SEE YOU AGAIN

I cant even mention a negative point bc when you tell an issue to the staff they solve it quickly. Had a very nice chat with the “big” chef and hotel manager which made us friends quickly 🙏 we enjoyed beach and pool those very very clean and pleasant. Cafe and restaurant not pricy as well despite the open sea view. Finally the large open buffet breakfast was full of high quality delicious food. I also enjoyed to watch stars and milky way felt me part of this universe with the sound of waves at the beach. Such a wonderful experience 💜

- slavicam424 (10/5): An exceptional hotel - a true gem! - I and my husband are about to leave King Maron Hotel after 13 fantastic days of relaxation, comfort and wellbeing. I am a frequent traveller and used to different hotel environments. Therefore I would like to point out the very friendly atmosphere, making one feeling very welcome, that was mainly created by the the fantastic staff. Sonja, Stella and Yannis at the reception, Sophia, the masseur with truly magical hands and skills (which I recommend deeply as she managed to untie several stress knosts in my neck). The Chef, who was checking on the breakfast counters making sure that nothing was missing etc, etc. All of them are headed by Lia the Hotel Manager. Lia runs the hotel in a most skillful way, and she is obviously the one setting the tone of the staff´s amicability and keeping the high standards of the hotel. The hotel has a very good location facing the sea from a small hill. The rooms are spacious, the beds comfortable and impeccably clean. The breakfast offers a variety of dishes and the possible combinations of food are endless. The private beach is as natural it can be. It has not been destroyed by various touristic things, and the absolutely best thing about it - apart from the clean water - is that there is no music from loudspeakers making it possible for everyone to actually relax. The beach is environmentally protected meaning that no alterations of it can be done which I am greatly thankful for. The beach pebbles and stones making the water grea, clean and transparent. I recommend the usage of plastic beach shoes. Lia was very helpful with guiding me to a one day visit to the island of Samothraki, a two hours ferry ride from Alexandroupoli. Hadn´t it been for her precise instructions we wouldn´t have been able to to see the ancient Paleopolis of the Sanctuary of the Great Gods, nor the Fonia Gorge leading to several waterfalls and crystal clear waters where many bathed, all in one day. The hotel is really fantastic for all who need a rest. Should one need to buy something, the nearest city is Komotini, 30 km away. I would also strongly recommend a visit to Alexandroupoli. All in all, the hotel is a gem, and because it is not too big, there is a feeling of exclusivity about it. I am very glad that I found this hotel and I recommend it warmly.

Very clean and well maintained, daily room cleaning. Swimming pool is quite big and very clean, very good place for kids. Beach is very close and quiet. In the neighbourhood there is a very good taverna offering very good local food.

As I have mentioned in my first review of King Maron Hotel, I like location of the hotel, so if you search serenity and nature, this is your place. King Maron Hotel is located in a very small village, in which there neither supermarkets, or or shops . Only two fish taverns and that is it. The rooms are very nice, offering a good view. The bed and the pillows were really comfortable. The staff is friendly, very kind and helpful. The restaurant is great, the breakfast was super. The private beach and an outdoor swimming pool were great. Everything is well maintained and clean.

The personnel are really kind and strongly professional.The breakfast has a lot of options and is really well rounded.Everything we tried was really delicious and fastly cooked. The spa has all the needs for a person. The aesthetic was overall very pleasing and relaxing, there is a lot of greenery, the parking is spacious and comfortable for parking. The bleach is private only for guests of the hotel, the sand is a mixture of stones that don't hurt the feet or are not uncomfortable. From the pool to the main restaurant there is an amazing sea view.There is a tennis court and a kindergarten which is nice if you have younger children.The manager is very friendly and always ate your disposal.This guy never sleeps😄. - 356aysec (10/5): Privacy and yet family friendly - We traveled from the United States to this hotel as we were visiting family in Komotini. Basing everything on the website, we were very pleasantly pleased seeing things and experiencing things in person at King Maron. The hotel is located in a very quite area on the sea. The views are amazing especially from room 105. There were 3 of us and the room was great sized for our family and the large private deck & views were the best! Our 8 year old son enjoyed the pool and pool bar area where he got the best burger! The beach was a beautiful walk own a paved path. The beach and about 15 ft into the water is all stones however after day 2, we got used to it. The water was super clear when we went (end of July -early August) and we enjoyed the easy snorkeling and beautiful sea as a family. The hotel is clean, family friendly, private, and just a real hidden gem! The other families were very nice too. The staff was all very nice as well! We would def stay here again! We spent 10 wonderful days at King Maron and we will be back for sure. Almost all the rooms in the hotel have a sea view which is breathtaking. The rooms are very beautiful with discent terasses. The building is new and looks excelent. The swiming pool is also of a proper size and has a good position. Each morning rich and very fresh food is waiting for the guests. Thi hygiene is at the highest level. But, what makes this hotel exceptional are employees. This people are so polite and helpful and there is no request that they cannot satisfy. Sotiros, the hotel manager, helped me even with an issue which has nothing with our stay at the hotel but with a shop in Alexandropoli. Let's ask to the fresh sea food options to during Lunch or dinner service. There can be perfect options which one does not exist in menu. Aspacialy, Grilled sea bass and octopus salad were excellent.

Al llegar nos dieron una habitación sin bañera y ya no era posible cambiar porque el hotel estaba completo...El día siguiente el encargado nos ofreció una noche extra, pero era imposible quedarnos ése día. Espero poder utilizar la noche en una futura reserva. El hotel es impecable, un sitio encantador, desayuno buffet muy completo, habitación y cama muy confortable y buen servicio en general. Volveremos sin duda.

This place is absolutely stunning and a hidden germ, it is extremely clean, well designed and the staff is extremely helpful and professional. I can’t think of any recommendation to make this place better, it is just flawless. Also its location is amazing, far from the crowd and the traffic noise right by the beach. I look forward to staying here again.
