• Ingrid (2/5): - Review of stay Rue dos Mercadores 100 from 2/5 to 9/5 2026 -When we got to the Trinidad Metro Station, I was called by the “landlord” to ask when we would be at the apartment. I said 45-60 min., as we wanted to leave. -When we got to the apartment, there was no one to hand over the key, which I expected, since we didn’t get a code for the key box at the door I called this number : +351 924 145 586, but the number didn’t work. - However, we got the key from the cleaning lady. She didn’t speak any English, but over the phone we got her to explain that breakfast was included in the price. Later, someone called and after some discussion, it was agreed that we would have breakfast delivered. Nice. - When we got to the apartment, the floor was quite wet. - There were only 2 bath towels that were apparently enough for a whole week, in an apartment where it was difficult to dry wet clothes. - There were 1.5 rolls of toilet paper - A small tea towel, but no cloths to wipe the tables - The dishwasher does not work. Apparently it does not get any water - No extra peel bags. - No instructions on where to dispose of garbage. - The hallway was completely not clean (cigarette butts and the like) In addition, we were not given any information on how to return the key to the apartment. The decision was that we left it unlocked and left the key inside the door. I did not expect that we would have to provide the things that were not enough in the apartment ourselves, if that is the case, it should be stated in the description of the conditions of the rent in the rental announcement. And if it had been described, the apartment would never have been chosen.

• Luis (5/5): Muy regular - La ubicacion, la atencion del.personal. Falta de limpieza, las instalaciones estan descuidadas, ponen capsulas de cafe y no hay maquina de cafe. La puerta de la ducha no cierra bien.

Séjour très décevant malgré un bon emplacement J’ai toujours été très satisfait de mes réservations via Booking.com, c’est donc en toute confiance que nous sommes partis une semaine à Porto. Si les services proposés par Try OPorto – Ribeira ont été appréciables à notre arrivée (notamment le transfert depuis l’aéroport), la suite du séjour a été une réelle déception. Nous avons découvert un appartement dans un état très préoccupant, avec un problème majeur d’humidité : forte odeur persistante peinture qui se décolle présence de moisissures miroir dont le cadre est déformé par l’humidité Les conditions étaient telles qu’il était difficile de vivre normalement dans le logement (impossible de faire sécher une serviette, douche qui fuit, nécessité d’aérer malgré le froid extérieur…). Nous avons signalé ces problèmes dès notre arrivée. Le loueur est resté courtois, mais aucune solution concrète n’a été apportée. Une panne électrique est même survenue dès le deuxième jour, nécessitant deux jours d’intervention. Au vu de l’état général du logement, il est difficile de croire que ces problèmes soient récents. Il est regrettable que cet appartement soit proposé à la location dans ces conditions. J’espère que cet avis permettra d’améliorer la situation pour les futurs voyageurs.

• Vasco (8/5): Preço qualidade bastante bom, muito bem localizado - A localização era muito boa mesmo. Espaçoso e casa de banho muito boa também. Cama confortável e disponibilização de toalhas. Zona tranquila e segura. Pode haver algum barulho mas mais até da parte da manhã com carros e motas. Dificuldade em obter as chaves no check-in (resolvido prontamente pela equipa). Barulho de obras no prédio ao lado e também não existe muito isolamento de som. Apenas 2 rolos de papel higiénico para estadia de 5 dias e também a máquina de café ou o café em si nao estavam muito bons.

• Ryan (8/5): Le lieu est bien situé pour découvrir Porto, avec de nombreuses belles choses à voir aux alentours. - Le point fort du lieu est son emplacement. La décoration de la chambre est cozy et fonctionnelle. les grandes attractions de la ville de porto sont tres proches En revanche, en hiver, il n’y a pas de chauffage dédié dans l’appartement, ce qui rend les autres pièces très froides. L’utilisation de la salle de bain devient compliquée à cause du froid, et l’humidité s’évacue mal. De plus, certains équipements, comme la machine à laver, ne fonctionnaient plus.

• SOLENE (6/5): - L appartement est très bien situé ! Facile pour visiter la ville. L appartement n'était pas près à l heure convenue, la porte de la douche ne ferme plus, le grille pain est Hs, pas de clim juste un ventilo. Les terrasses extérieures ne sont pas mises en valeur. Attention beaucoup de bruit difficile de se reposer.

• Henar (2/5): Una experiencia horrible - Lo único bueno es que estaba céntrico Para empezar, había obras y desde las 7:30 de la mañana haciendo ruido y por la noche se escuchaba el tráfico del túnel. El techo de la ducha estaba roto y goteaba mucha suciedad por lo que la ducha estaba sucia y te goteaba mierda mientras te duchabas. Finalmente terminó por caerse, por suerte no nos pilló duchándonos. Un día empezó a llover y se empezó a filtrar agua por la pared de tal manera que en media hora el salón estaba lleno de agua. Llamamos a la agencia y la solución que nos dieron era buscarnos por nuestra cuenta otro alojamiento que teníamos que pagar nosotros. Tuvimos que salir de ahí rápido a la 1 de la madrugada diluviando con las maletas, pagar un taxi y un hotel. Por suerte gracias a que he estado muy pesada he conseguido que me paguen la noche de hotel y me descuenten la última noche del alojamiento pero fue una experiencia horrible que no volvería a repetir. Creo que deberían de quitar este alojamiento hasta que arreglen los imperfectos. También olía mucho a humedad todo el edificio
• Edward Mark (4/5): Good location, though noisy, but should have been closed during construction - Location was convenient to the river and to restaurants I literally had debris raining down on me while trying to get in the front door. I complained multiple times and it pretty much fell on deaf ears. Room is next to a tunnel that is very loud at night

• Segolene (4/5): Bien placé… mais à fuir ! - L’emplacement - une humidité telle que les murs étaient mouillés. Ils ont dû nous apporter en urgence un radiateur d’appoint pour faire sécher les pièces. L’odeur d’humidité est très présente. Une salle de bain pas hyper propre et une porte de douche inutile. La salle de bain est inondée (jusqu’au couleur) après une douche. Enfin aucun isolation phonique, impression de dormir sur l’autoroute.

• Severine (5/5): - L'emplacement Le bruit des travaux de l'immeuble juste à côté, nous n'entendions pas la télévision tellement il y avait du bruit! En entrant dans notre immeuble il y avait pleins de poussière partout, même sur nous et nos cheveux !Ensuite le balcon était sale, poussière à cause des travaux 😑 la douche ne fermait pas, il y avait de l'eau partout! Pas de balai ni de serpillière dans le logement pour nettoyer l'eau. Nous avons nettoyé l'eau avec nos serviettes de bain! Et le soir impossible de dormir correctement logement se situe à côté du tunnel et il y avait beaucoup de circulation avec les voitures qui claxonnent tout le temps et font ronfler les moteurs de leurs véhicules.
• Joan (6/5): Agradable y cómoda pero no volvería - Lo que mas me gustó fue el servicio ya que respondían super rápido y en todo momento se preocupaban, igual que podías dejar las maletas en la oficina sin ningún problema que te las guardaban hasta que pases ha recogerlas. Otra cosa es la ubicación ya que esta a dos calles de la Ribeira, cerca de un Starbucks, al lado del Palacio de la Bolsa y en general muy centrico para visitar todo Porto. Lo que no me gustó es que primero es que el callejón donde esta el apartamento de noche es una zona bastante mala ya que huele algo a porro y donde la gente bebe o pasa bebida por la noche. También que el apartamento, y esto es importante, está al lado de una casa en ruinas que están tirando y desde las 7:30 hasta la tarde están picando, usando taladros y dando golpes. Y por la tarde no molesta porque no estas, pero levantarte con el taladro al lado de la pared no es agradable. Otro tema es el de la limpieza y no es por ser quisquilloso pero si que he notado que el apartamento podría estar mas limpio ya que, no tanto el dormitorio, pero si que la cocina y el baño estaba algo sucio. Y por ultimo, pienso que podría estar algo mas equipado el apartamento ya que está totalmente vacía, solo hay una cafetera donde no encuentras en los supers cercanos las cápsulas correctas y el microondas. Pienso que una tostadora falta, tema limpieza faltan utensilios y eso ya es opinión mía pero sal, azúcar, aceite,... cosas básicas para cocinar también faltan.
• Juraj (8/5): We had a lovely stay in Porto in a very well-equipped, well suited apartment for the purpose! - The value for money and the location are exceptional and great, right in the heart of Porto. Not easy to get to by car but that is to be expected. Very good facilities and equipment, comfy bed and surroundings, we liked our stay a lot. The street outside is very busy and due to insufficient soundproofing, we heard a lot of traffic, honking, and later construction works on a neighboring house, well into the night and early in the morning, so sleep was a challenge.

• cristina (7/5): - La ubicación, relación calidad precio y apartamento espacioso. Tercer piso sin ascensor con escaleras bastante empinadas. El baño antiguo, la puerta de la ducha no cerraba y este problema lo tenía de hace tiempo por varias opiniones y seguía sin estar arreglado. Nos dijeron que irían a arreglarlo y no fue nadie a verlo. Están construyendo un edificio justo al lado y el ruido de la obra empezaba a las 8.00 de la mañana. Evidentemente no es culpa del establecimiento pero tenerlo en cuenta, preguntar.
• Chantal (8/5): - When I first arrived the apartment wasn't ready yet despite me having said in advance that I'd be there by 3. In the end they let me in but the cleaner was still there finishing so they let me check out one hour later, the key wasn't working ecc. ecc. They were still accommodating and nice despite the initial problems the apartment is great, right in the heart of Oporto, it's beautiful and very big!

• Mariana (10/5): - La ubicación es buenísima, está a 2 calles del Rio Duero, aunque si prefieres pasar más tiempo en el centro debes tomar en cuenta las cuestas para llegar ahí caminando. El piso es espacioso y su gran plus es que tiene una terraza con vista al Duero, cuando no está muy ruidoso se puede escuchar a los artistas desde ahí. La ducha es muy pequeña, cuesta moverse sin golpear la llave del agua y por tanto cambiar la temperatura del agua. Fuimos en verano y solo teníamos 1 ventilador que usábamos en la habitación que no tiene ventanas, en la otra habitación (habitación/sala) teníamos que abrir las ventanas de los balcones para poder dormir, la calle es muy ruidosa entre los coches y los bares cercanos.

• rachidi (10/5): Séjour exceptionnel - Un appartement exceptionnel à Porto ! La terrasse est tout simplement un rêve, parfaite pour profiter du soleil ou en profiter le soir. Tout est très bien équipé, rien ne manque. La literie est extrêmement confortable, ce qui rend le séjour encore plus agréable. Une adresse que je recommande sans hésitation !
• Aurélie (6/5): - L'emplacement est top pour visiter la ville. L'appartement n'était pas propre (toile d'araignée, poussière sur les meubles), la porte de douche n'est pas étanche donc beaucoup d'eau sur le sol de la salle de bain. La cuisine et la salle de bain sentent vraiment la moisissure.
• Zuriñe (8/5): Apartamento con muy buena ubicación . - La ubicación era genial para visitar Oporto y las vistas panorámicas desde la terraza superior eran bonitas. La ducha no cerraba correctamente y no había ascensor.
• Gabriel (6/5): - Cuando llegamos no tenían la habitación limpia, tuvimos que esperar mas de 1h y 30min para que nos la dieran alegando que la culpa fue nuestra al reservarlo ese día, que además era mentira, fue 2 días antes. Por el resto es un apartamento normal y corriente para pasar el fin de semana. Algo que desear.

• Koni (2/5): - We arrived to a very damp musty smell and feel. There was a significant water leak in the kitchen running across the counter. We notified them and were offered some towels to clean it up not to repair it.
• Francisco (8/5): - I don't like the fact that the check in it's too late. You don't need 5 hours to clean an apartment.
• Susi (6/5): - Das Apartment ist sehr zentral gelegen. Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuß erreichbar. Es ist auch sehr freundlich und modern eingerichtet. Die Einrichtung gehört aber auch hin und wieder auf ihre Funktion getestet bzw. gewartet. Z.B. war bei einem Sessel die Sitzschale nicht fest. Bei den Vorhängen waren nicht alle Ösen in der Garnische - schaut schlampig aus. Der Teppich war schrecklich.

Inconvénients les nuisances sonores du tunnel à proximité par manque d’isolation des fenêtres. De plus nous avions réservé cet appartement précisément pour profiter de la terrasse mais elle n’était pas accessible car la porte était coincée ! Globalement logement mal entretenu :bac de douche rouillé la porte ne ferme pas donc de l’eau partout. Rideaux en partie décrochés tapis non aspiré….

• tai wai (2/5): - The property definitely has mold problem. You can smell it when you step in it. The room does not have an AC system. The carpet does not seem clean, so are the bed and the bed comforter. The bathroom shower door cannot be closed tightly. After you take a shower, the whole bathroom turns into a swamp. You must have a pair of slipper for it. The shower pan is very small. The toilet bowl is small. The whole stay experience was quite bad. The review score I remember shows 8.6. I have no idea why it is above the score of 5. I guess I was paying for the area. The room itself just plainly fails. You just cannot rest well with unclean environment. Expedia should take this listing off.

• Martin (4/5): Décevant - Bel appartement bien situé au cœur de l’action touristique mais… Mauvais odeur (humidité) Mauvais état ; porte de douche coule, chaises et table lousse, rideaux du salon trop grands pour les fenêtres, carpet du salon très sale. Mauvais service, il a fallu se déplacer à 700m pour aller régler la taxe de chambre, nous avons envoyé plusieurs messages pour avoir des serviettes propres et nous les avons eu seulement à 22h00 alors que nous les avions demandé à 10:00 le matin.

We tried to contact them to get into the apartment but never got a response and there was no way into the building without a pin code. We tried to see if there was a front desk when we arrived to help us into the building but there was none. We waited 2 hours in front of the building trying to figure things out.

Nous y avons même pris le petit déjeuner en plein mois de décembre. Super agréable. Accueil parfait avec liaison permanente via whatsapp si besoin. Seul bémol, deux petits chauffage d appoint trop léger en cette période fraiche. Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Cheap and central if not mind blowing - The kitchen and bedroom are nice, and the location is very central on a surprisingly quiet street. The bathroom is kind of a problem though. There’s definitely nothing provided as far as toiletries, and the shower leaks like crazy and is so tiny I couldn’t shampoo without constantly banging the temperature knob and either scalding or freezing myself (and I’m short). There’s also no handle on the inside so I had to climb the side to close the door. Because the area is fairly humid there’s zero chance any of the towels you inevitably need to use to mop up the sopping bathroom floor will ever dry. Also the lovely deck pictured in the photos is only available to one apartment, not for all three to use. Also be warned parking nearby is difficult. That’s not a strike against the place but just something to know going in.
• CHAO HSIANG (6/5): It's not well ventilated - Good decorations but not well ventilated. Shower room door can not be well closed, so it would be a mess after taking a shower.

• Verified traveler (10/5): - The apartment was spacious, clean, and nicely decorated. We were on the top floor (no elevator), and there was a nice balcony. We also had a beautiful private rooftop terrace which was really nice and unexpected. Easy communication with staff via text. Perfect location, close to waterfront and lots of restaurants and shops (convenience store right around corner was very helpful). Would definitely stay here again!
