• Des (5/5): Location was great which meant that we could get to places easily using the Public Transport system - Receptionist was friendly and helpful The apartment was tired and needed a refurbishment. There were lots of large skuff marks on many of the walls. One Chair in lounge was almost ready to collapse. We expected to have coffee machine not instant coffee. There were insufficient tea bags, coffee sachets, & dish washing liquid which ran out after 2 days. Rubbish shute didn't work. As it was pouring with rain we asked for a late checkout and had to pay $50. I thought that after 4 days stay, and the price that we paid, they could have provided it free of charge, as it was a Monday.

• Jonathan (2/5): Never staying at Atlas again - Our apartment was right opposite noisy construction works, which woke the children early, and a homeless/deranged human was screaming obscenities and profanities from early morning to late at night, which made the children uneasy and scared. The mattress was uncomfortable - worse than a cheap motel. We booked for 2 adults, 2 children and 1 baby, and received 2 towels total. Selected request cot and didnt receive one. The floors in the apartment were filthy.

A wall fixture in the bathroom was hanging from the wall an not fixed properly.

• Selena J (10/5): - Check in was easy. Everything was explained in detail, the parking, access to buildings and facilities. Very minor detail but the lack of sun on the balcony during the whole stay. Only a little section late in the afternoon for a small amount of time.

Quiet. Lovely furnishings . A blind or curtain in the second bedroom door out to the balcony. Very light in the morning.

• Sarah (6/5): - Great location with lots of nearby attractions. The room was really worn. For an apartment style accommodation, the only kitchen basics provided were tea and freeze dried coffee. No view at all, and our room basically looked into the next apartment building.

• Mary (7/5): Convenient location to walk to city attractions - Excellent location - walking distance to Queensland Museum, Theatre precinct, Parklands and Sky Deck, restaurants and cafes. Wonderful view from our room of the city skyline and Ferris Wheel. Quiet and room perfect size for a couple with the benefit of a full size kitchen and laundry.. No instructions on how to use the air-con but looked these up on the internet so all good there. No hooks in the small bathroom to hang up towels or clothes. Room we were staying in needs a coat of paint and to be fumigated.

• Karl (3/5): Don't Guarantee The Room ready ad 2pm when you dont deliver on this. - Rooms were modern, I liked that we eventually got our room at 3pm after we were guaranteed the room ready at 2pm. Room not being ready when it was meant to be. Had no where to wait so had to walk around until the room was ready. 1hr wait, bottles still under bed from previous stay so not sure what took so long for room to be ready as it was not effectively clean

• Kate (6/5): Won’t be back - Parking was great, even 4 hours free for visitors. Beds were great, showers were awesome. Kitchen had everything we needed. Location was great. Asked if we could get early check in and said no… showed up for parking at 11 am asked if we wanted to check in?!! I told them I was told 40 mins ago we couldn’t so had arranged my brother to take kids to lagoon so I could park car & I had to get back with hats/towels etc. Steam room smelt like pure mold. Pool and spa area freezing. No internet to the tv so only 1 kids channel, which is frustrating when you need the kids entertained for 10mins, told reception straight away and they didn’t give a flying hoot about it, said someone was coming Monday to fix (public hol). Then Monday said oh no it’s a public hol nothing we can do, I asked about some sort of compensation or different tv to try or different room and nothing was offered, didn’t even come back to me. I have stayed here a couple times before (everytime I come over from nz) but that means nothing. No extra blankets in cupboards which is annoying when kids are cooler at nights and no one on reception. Dryer sounded like a plane taking off. I was annoyed from the get go so I could pick this place apart. No first world problems but the small things go a long way.

• Donna (9/5): - Great location. Within walking distance to Brisbane's Southbank area with the Brisbane Eye, QPAC, lagoon etc. Loads of food options, restaurants and bars. We had my disabled brother with us and navigated a wheelchair around the area with no problems. The WiFi was terrible. Unable to even download Netflix on the TV as it just dropped out all the time.

Had a small balcony with table and chairs, excellent living space and great location for our activities. Staff were friendly and very helpful. There were no coffee making facilities in the apartment ie plunger or coffee machine. Only instant - really!!!!

• Atawhai (10/5): Great stay! - Great location in Southbank area. Supermarket straight across the road, plus the cellar shop. 7/11 at the corner of the street and Southbank man made beach and Brisbane wheel is 2 streets over no longer than 10 minute walk to get there.

Apartments had everything we needed, great to have a washing machine and dryer on hand. Ms Claude’s Crepes did the best coffee and crepes were amazing. Aircon didn’t flow through to the main bedroom, it was roasting hot as soon as the sun hit it early in the morning until lunchtime.

Ensuite shower didn’t drain water away properly after a shower. Few stains on the sofa didn’t feel comfortable sitting on one end of it! Some glasses were still dirty and put away in the cupboard. Lack of an oven tray.

• Carla (8/5): Nice stay- could have a few tweaks to make it better. - Location, space. For an apartment with a kitchen it was very limited with kitchen utensils. No chopping board, no knives sharper than a butter knife, No baking tray and no pots. Outdoor setting only had three chairs and for a 2 bed apartment sleeping 4 we could not all be out on the balcony enjoying the view. Pool was freezing cold And spa and sauna not functional.
• Maggie (8/5): clean, sufficient, spacious for 2 couples (2 bed apt) - comfortable beds, spacious, good wardrobes to tuck away luggage if needed. Eastern-facing bedroom got extremely hot by 7 or 8am, felt like we had the heat on. should've put double glazed windows on those rooms! It was a little complicated getting into the carpark and then leaving from there; we were told we could leave our keys in the room upon checkout, but then we couldn't get down to the carpark without our keys, and couldn't get the lift back up to our room to get the keys, again because we didn't have them -- we were stuck. eventually got into the garage via another customer. They should explain that, IF you are leaving from the lobby (on foot or via taxi) then you can leave the keys in the room. but IF you are leaving by car from the carpark, you need to take your keys with you and drop them in garage drop box on your way out.

• Leanne (7/5): - Location is exceptional - that was why I booked in this area. The apartment was reasonably modern and clean. Excellent storage. Liked having dishwasher, washing machine/dryer. The bed was too soft for our liking and it was unusual the King bed was in the second bedroom with only a queen in the room with the ensuite. Kitchen/dining/living was very small compared to other apartments we've stayed in the same area and not comfortable for sitting around at night watching tv as lounge very hard and someone had to sit in dining chair. Great pool area but unheated!! Gym very tiny and not enough equipment - no free weights.

• Haden (7/5): Good stay overall but can easily be made excellent with some attention - Location, views, size and comfort of the rooms. The room was a bit tired. Carpet was fairly worn out or a bit dirty in the rooms, the pots and kitchen cupboards hadn’t been cleaned very well. A bit of damage to the bottom of doors in the bathroom.

• Jocelyn (8/5): Great place if you can book with a discounted rate. - The apartment facilities, utilities and layout were excellent. Bedding was clean. Location also very convenient. View from our balcony was amazing with a outdoor dining setting. Some surfaces could have been cleaner upon arrival. Walls require a paint or deep clean for the scuff marks. The dishwasher was musty and had food scraps in the bottom, so required a clean before using. The bedding on the two single beds did not fit, it was too short. One of the beds did not even have a mattress protector and the bottom sheet was a foot too short so my daughter was sleeping on exposed mattress for a part.
