• Wendy Miller (9/5): Pollonia was a beautiful coastal feel area in which to stay and explore Milo’s from. - We loved our stay in Pallonia..Captain Stavros is in a perfect location with other beautiful accomodation surrounding it. A nice walk into town or the beach..nice to be a little out of the main bustle. The bus to the main port or other beaches was within walking distance. Wonderful, friendly staff who were very welcoming and organised our hire car close by Thankyou.

Basic supplies left for breakfast which was great. Kitchenette had all the necessary items. Owners even left us a welcome bottle of wine, which was so nice. Also car parking available. Lock on door was difficult to work out in the beginning, otherwise nothing.

Το μπάνιο όμορφο, μοντέρνο με ντουζιέρα και ευρύχωρο. Στο δωμάτιο μας περίμενε και ένας δίσκος με προϊόντα για πρωινό γεύμα (φρυγανιές, μέλι, βούτυρο, μαρμελάδες, καφέδες κλπ), καθώς και νερό, κρασί και χυμό μέσα στο ψυγείο. Το κυρίως δωμάτιο φωτεινό και ευρύχωρο! Η κοπέλα στην ρεψεσιον ευγενέστατη και πρόθυμη να μας λύσει οποιαδήποτε απορία μας για το πού να πάμε Η τοποθεσία του καταλύματος δεν ήταν πάρα πολύ βολική αν θέλεις να γυρίσεις και να εξερευνήσεις όλο το νησί. Οι αποστάσεις ήταν γύρω στα 20 λεπτά για να πάμε κάπου, αλλά αυτό δεν μας ενόχλησε πάρα πολύ.

Nous avons apprécié la mise à disposition de café et de quoi prendre un petit déjeuner sommaire mais suffisant. Il est aussi très bien situé, à 5mn à pied de la plage et des restaurants. Nous reviendrons.

Only a 10 minute walk from the supermarket/restaurants/cafes. A two minute walk from the best sunset spot! The location is far from the port - there is a bus you can catch, about a 10 minute walk from the hotel.
• ΛΙΤΣΑ (10/5): Μια ευχάριστη διαμονή - Είχαμε μια πολύ άνετη διαμονή. Το δωμάτιο ήταν ευρύχωρο, καθαρό και διέθετε μικρό μπαλκόνι. Κάθε μέρα υπήρχε υπηρεσία καθαρότητας. Πολύ ευγενική ένδειξη φιλοξενίας ήταν ότι μέσα στο δωμάτιο υπήρχαν μικρά εδέσματα για πρωινό (μαρμελάδα, βούτυρο, φρυγανιές , καφέ φίλτρου) τα οποία ανανεώνονταν καθημερινά. Το προσωπικό ευγενικό και εξυπηρετικό . Βολικό ότι πλησίον του καταλύματος υπάρχει ιδιωτικό πάρκινγκ για τους ενοίκους.

Molto bello il bagno, finestrato e dotato di una grande doccia. Abbiamo avuto un'ottima accoglienza da parte delle proprietarie che ci hanno reso disponibile l'alloggio prima dell'orario previsto e ci hanno fornito l'ombrellone per le spiagge. A pochi metri è possibile parcheggiare l'auto nel posteggio riservato della struttura. Consigliato Niente

Gostei especialmente das redondezas - muito perto da praia, de onde se poder observar uma vista fantástica, sobretudo ao por-do-sol. Não teve, de todo, impacto negativo na nossa experiência, mas os utensílios disponíveis eram limitados (não havia forma de aquecer leite, por exemplo) e as camas podiam ser um pouco mais confortáveis. Mas, no geral, tudo conforme o anúncio.

From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and made to feel right at home. The accommodation itself is spotless, beautifully maintained, and full of charm. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay—including a lovely balcony where we enjoyed our morning coffee with views of the sea. • Kathryn (8/5): Nice place but wouldn’t stay again due to shower - Very clean, staff was polite and promptly filled all requests (extra towels, cream, etc.) The shower in #5 is so small you constantly are touching the shower curtain and when you turn around bump the temperature control and turn the water to hot or cold. I’m a medium size woman, and in 3 days never developed the knack to avoid hitting the lever. Perhaps a curved curtain rod would help.

• David (8/5): The room was good for our 5 days in Milos. Pollonia is a nice place to stay. - The room had everything we needed, and a good size fridge. Aircon was effective and quiet. Mosquito guards on the windows. Good shower pressure with plenty of hot water. Outside balcony to sit out at. Private car park. Short walk into the centre of Pollonia. The balcony was small but OK except it was very exposed to the prevailing wind blowing in from the sea quite fiercely whilst we were there. But the wind is no fault of the property, it's just not sheltered if it is windy.

The staff was incredibly friendly — she even gave us great recommendations for restaurants and things to do on the island, which we really appreciated. We stayed for just two nights, and it was perfect for a short stay. I also liked that the room was cleaned and the towels were changed daily — a really nice touch! The location was also great — just a 10-minute walk from the main street where all the restaurants and shops are. Overall, a very comfortable and convenient stay! The shower was quite small, and during our stay it was very windy — the wind made a lot of noise with the balcony ceiling, which was made of some kind of fabric material.

• Virginia (10/5): Comfortable stay in great location. Welcoming host! - Our our two night stay at Captain Stavros was excellent! Sophia was very welcoming, kind, and helpful. The little hotel is similar to many others in the town, and placed at a very convenient location—walking distance from town and beaches. There was a Tassimo coffe machine and pods, along with some small snacks and tea. Kitchenette is stocked with necessary pots, pans, silverware, wine glasses, et cetera. There was also a safe box but we did not use it. They also provided bottled water at no extra charge—it’s not recommended to drink the tap on a regular basis, which is not uncommon on the islands. The bed was very comfortable and Air Conditioning easy to use. Shutters blocked most of the morning light, which was nice for sleeping in. They offered a laundry service for 5€ and ironing for 10€. Check in and check out was easy. We would recommend this stay! Rien!

• lisa (10/5): A little gem - The location is perfect for a walk into pollonia but is lovely and quiet. The room has a kettle, sandwich maker and coffee machine and fridge . There are also jams, crackers , butter , water and juice in the room when we arrived . The communication was brilliant and the staff responded to any questions we had and helped arrange a transfer from the port. The is also a parking area for a hire car or atv Nothing
• Helen (9/5): Neat, quiet, and good value describes Captain Stavros. - The room was spotless. I had access to a porch which had a drying rack for clothes. There was a large bottle of water and a bottle of juice in the fridge. There was a coffee machine with pods as well as snacks. These amenities were very nice! The bathroom was fully functional but very small.

• GEORGIOS (9/5): - The property is at an amazing location , just a 3 minute walk from the scenic Pollonia and close to the beach! Our host Sofia was wonderful! She recommended what to do while on the island and a few good places to eat which were spot on! The room was very clean and decorated in a classic Aegean style! We will be sure staying here again if visiting Milos!
• Katrina (10/5): Perfect stay - Eleni was a wonderful host, so kind and friendly! The place was spacious and clean with a nice balcony. Good facilities, with a kitchen area and a basket of jams, honey, tea and lurpack butter. A short walk to central Pollonia.
