• Kaori (8/5): マウントクックへ行く拠点にちょうど良いです - TWIZELの中心地で便利でした。スーパーが近くにありました。 マウントクック国立公園内のホテルは高いので、レンタカーであればTWIZELで十分だと思いました。 5月半ばでしたが結構寒かったです。特にバスルームが寒かったので、バスルームにもヒーターがあったら良かったです。

• Eleanor (10/5): Great! - We stayed in a lovely little tiny home, perfect for a couple of nights. Ideal location for shops, perfect for exploring the local area with a car parking space. Laundry facilities were easy to access as well.

The only thing I would maybe recommend is to turn on the heat before so the room is a bit warmer when you first arrive. The price is a bit high.

• Rowena (10/5): Comfortable and easy drive to Mt Cook Village - We had a long drive from Dunedin, with various stops along the way, and we weren’t going to make the 6 pm check-in time, so the owner very kindly had the room ready for us with the heaters on and the key on the dining table. We had the two bedroom apartment with separate dining and lounge areas, which was very spacious and comfortable. The motel was very conveniently located near the local supermarket and other facilities, and it was an easy scenic drive to Mt Cook Village. Car park is a bit tight so you need to be very careful if you’re manoeuvring out of the corner parking space.

• Peterson (4/5): Freezing! - We likes the shower pressure and comfortable bed No heat pump remote room was freezing. Bed was damp room was damp. Not enough blankets on bed and no spare. Poor ventilation for the shower which will by why the room was damp. Toilet needed a good clean.

It's also close to tourism opportunities including bushwalking. It would have been good to have an additional blanket in the room, rather than having to ask for one. The split system didn't work so we had another heater there.

• Julia (10/5): A great place to base yourself if visiting Mount Cook. Clean, convenient and friendly staff :) - We stayed here for 2 nights and used it as our base to visit Mount Cook, which we would really recommend! It’s only a short walk to shops and restaurants, you can’t really beat the location. The late check in process was easy and the staff were lovely! We left an item behind and they went above and beyond to get it back to us. Rooms were clean, great water pressure and lots of hot water!

Good shower pressure. Comfortable beds with electric blanket. Plenty of room to spread out a bit. The only thing I could suggest, is perhaps underfloor heating in the bathroom. Probably not feasible as it looks like it was recently renovated. Also, it would be handy to have some sort of shelf or somewhere in the shower to put your shampoo and soap, so it's not sitting on the floor. Some people like to bring their own toiletries instead of using the ones provided by the hotel.

But no dryer. Staff, at least during normal working hours, was friendly and attentive. Not much. Everything seemed as advertised.

Although a gorgeous view from the kitchen window, the afternoon sun through it was hot, making it uncomfortable to prepare food. Kitchen door handles felt sticky. Limited crockery and cutlery eg 1 dessert spoon and no oven mitts.
