- Anthony (10/5): lovely apartment and great base for exploring Suffolk countryside - The apartment and location were both amazing. Playford is a very quiet village and an excellent base to explore the countryside. The owners live in the house next door and let me put my bike in their garage. On checking out I discovered a puncture on my car tyre and Glen the owner let me use his jack and offered tools. He could not have been more helpful. The apartment has everything you could need including simple things like tea, coffee, salt and cooking oil which saved me having to buy these items. The facilities in the kitchen were excellent. I hope to be back soon. Nothing at all. I cannot fault the apartment.
- Mary (9/5): A pleasant stay in the lovely Suffolk countryside, close to Sutton Hoo, Aldeburgh & Woodbridge. - The apartment is very cosy, clean & comfortable and in the middle of lovely countryside. It's very small but was just fine for my self & my husband as we were staying in the area in order to visit Sutton Hoo. It's an easy drive to the lovely towns of Woodbridge & Aldeburgh. Nothing really. A fan would have been nice as it was very hot during our stay.
- Helen (10/5): - The apartment was in a beautiful, quiet village location. It was extremely comfortable and well appointed. Everything I needed was there. Glen, the host, was very friendly and helpful.
- Peter (10/5): Very helpful host, and an excellent property. - location of key lock box was given to me by email, also the code. It was excellent with a very helpful host, I can think of no way it could be better.
- Paula (10/5): Spacious and very relaxing - Beautiful location very comfortable.
- Sandra (10/5): A lovely little apartment with the most comfortable bed -
- Worsfold (9/5): Lovely warm space with great parking and all kitchen needs supplied. - Lovely accommodation with great parking space right outside. Fully fitted kitchen and very comfy bed. Not a massive issue at all but the tv was a little small and at a height that wasn’t very comfortable to sit and look up and watch.
- Justine (8/5): Exceeded expectations, hope to be back again. - Well equipped kitchen, plenty of extra bedding, good shower, warm bathroom. Lovely rural location, peaceful and with a garden view. Floors have lovely carpet so shoes need to be left at the door. Bring slippers because the floor underneath the carpet is cold.
- Margaret (8/5): Well equipped apartment - Well equipped apartment, easy parking, good shower. Didn't meet the owner but he was helpful. Quiet area but with easy access to the major roads around Ipswich Bed was a bit soft for us but that's personal taste. Heating in the bedroom was a bit hit and miss.
- Amanda (10/5): Wonderful - Loved the location close to all amenities great hosts.
Very clean and very reasonably priced.
Will certainly return when coming back to usa. All was great
- Angela (10/5): My stay was wonderful - The property was excellent comfortable Internet was very bad and road is very narrow
- Jamal (10/5): Exceptional -
- Doerte (10/5): Very quiet and relaxing - It was comfortable, clean and so quiet. It was so relaxing staying at this accommodation.
A lovely stay and would definitely stay again for a base to get to know the area. Lots of walking from the apartment and places to visit all around. N/A
- Liz (9/5): Superb - Lovely apartment with everything you need. Simply furnished and a rural, quiet location.
- Sarah (10/5): Fantastic venue for couples - Fantastic small retreat, perfect for 2 people. Excellent kitchen with every gadget/facility you could need. Loads of information about local area, excellent Smart TV, very clean, good communication, easy access. Fantastic shower. Can't fault it. Slightly remote location if you want to be near Ipswich but we were exploring the whole coastline area so great to be further out of the city. Couldn't find a dishcloth but used kitchen towel that didn't dissolve so worked perfectly.
- Kevin (10/5): Exceptional - Quiet and peaceful. Spotlessly clean .
- Paul (10/5): Peaceful and comfortable - Great location, near to the stock car track. Excellent value. Would have a booked another night if I didn't need to get home to see my kids. Plenty of items in the kitchen, living room. Nothing.
- Jan (8/5): Lovely, airy, clean apartment would recommend. - Lovely airy, clean apartment. Can't think of anything.
- Joanne (10/5): Work related - The property was in a lovely location and very easy to find.
The bed was sooo comfy! I travel a lot with work and this was definitely one of the most comfy!

Would recommend
- Paul (9/5): Superb -
- Aaron (9/5): Superb -
- Christine (9/5): Superb - Property was perfect for our short stay Nothing
- Mick (6/5): Uninspiring compared to most accommodation these days. - Thoughtful provisions of tea and milk and snacks etc. It did not look like the photos. A bit more a garage conversion than a home. Poor shower
- Gavin (10/5): A very lovely apartment - highly recommend it. - A very well appointed apartment where it is evident as soon as you walk through the door that the owner cares about standards and does all he can to make sure that your stay is a home from home. We plan to return! Nothing at all to dislike
- Dennis (10/5): No hesitation in a return to this accomodation - Peaceful and quiet location Fully met our requirements and needs
- Kenneth (9/5): Excellent - The property was in a good location for us as we were meeting up with family in the area. It was very peaceful and relaxing. The place was spotlessly clean and well equipped with everything we needed. Parking was right outside the front door. Our host Glen was very friendly and helpful. We appreciated all the information that was provided about the area.
- Chris (8/5): Very good -
- Holly (10/5): Solo Guest House Saurden - The front door was great. Loved the old stable style. The rooms were a great size for a one/two person. It was very light and airy with good size windows, including a good view out the back bit. The kitchen had everything i needed. Even had a surprise beer in the fridge and ice cubes ready to go. Just what i really needed after 52 miles of 32c heat, bike ride to get here. Thank you, Glen, that really made me smile!
Glen was great to chat with. Friendly and very generous!
And the area is very peaceful with plenty of birds tweeting.
There are many foot paths for some good local walks and a train is very close by but not close enough to disturb you. Ermmm I cant think of anything i didnt like.
- James (10/5): Excellent stay to a stunning area, very quiet location near to some fantastic restaurants and pubs. - Clean, easy to find, very comfortable, well stocked with essentials. Nothing!
- Paul (7/5): Overall our stay was adequate, no serious complaints. - The place was clean, the wifi was very good, the bed was comfortable, the whole place was well equipped. The hot water set-up was not so good. The electric shower was only adequate, hand basin hot water not so hot, the bedroom and shower room were very cramped.
- James (9/5): We arrived hoping for 3 nights away from home to unwind and relax . With its peaceful surroundings and cosy and comforta - Comfortable with plenty of natural light, it’s compact without feeling cramped or small. The location was peaceful and is only a short drive from the city centre and other points of interest. Saurden is comfortable and nicely equipped with everything you’ll need for a short getaway. A little disappointing that there was nowhere to sit outside, especially as the weather was good and the location so peaceful.
- Anthony (8/5): Very good -
- Bridget (8/5): Very good - Location was ideal for me - partway between Ipswich and Martlesham. It was November when I visited, but would be even nicer if I'd had longer evenings after work to explore the village
- Sharon (10/5): Wonderful - Fantastic service from start to finish.
- Elizabeth (10/5): Exceptional -
- James (10/5): Exceptional -
- Charlotte1234 (8/5): Very good - Had everything you needed for a short stay and it was super clean and lovely. So close to the city centre and the stars at night were amazing!! Great heaters made it a very cosy stay. Pillows need replacing and worth mentioning that you really are staying front and centre in someone's property. We were given total privacy but you must enter and exit the property beside the family entrance.
- Louise (9/5): Superb -
- Phillips (10/5): Exceptional - It was a lovely little place strongly recommended
- Susan (8/5): Clean comfortable apartment in a lovely part of Suffolk. - Clean comfortable apartment with lots of extras available, like tea/coffee/long life milk- even a beer!
- Graham (8/5): Very good -
- Jack (9/5): Superb -
