• Pritika (8/5): - This was my second time staying at Galaxy Hotel, and I really enjoyed my stay. The room was modern and up to date, which made it comfortable. The only issue we had was with the bathroom door, but it was promptly fixed. Overall, a pleasant experience once again.

Old torn towels always short supply. Very poor wifi/internet. Ants. Restaurant service was ok. No variety for breakfast. Friendly helpful staff.

• Diana (2/5): - Leaky taps. Bed very very hard. Broken tiles in bathroom. We had to call room service 7 times and wait 30 mins for bath towels. Only received 1 towel for 2 people. Tea cups in rooms but no hot water jug. Linen dirty. Bathroom cracked tiles and hand basin taps gushing water on floor. No toiletries. Notji g good about the property.

• Chandra (4/5): - No or few towels in the bathroom Property needs repairs bathroom faucets leaks there was a cockroach on the shower floor. Looks pretty on the website realty is different. Staff not helpful I had to drag my suitcase downstairs. Never staying there again.
• Anjili (4/5): - Would not recommend staying here. Toilet was dirty- had not been flushed or cleaned! We booked a room for 4 people to find beds for 3 people. Reception provided a mattress at 10pm after lengthy discussion and asking us to pay extra- which we refused. The noise from the main road keeps you up most of the night. Breakfast is not a buffet and no variety. Showered in cold water as the tanks burst in the morning- this seems to happen often here. Overall will not be returning.

• Jagmohan (6/5): - I booked for 3 rooms. On arrival was given 1 room. Told them that I had booked for 3 rooms. They were strugling to get rooms for us. Took them hours to give us rooms. And so we missed some important commitments as they didnt give rooms on time. I had booked well in advance. Looks like so poor in management.
• Aman (2/5): - It was walking distance to major facilities and town. Checking time was at 1 pm on Expedia but they they checked in at 2.30pm. The room was not ready and had to change to another room. Unfortunately, there is no elevator or porter so had to carry your own bags and luggage to second floor. Staffs are unfriendly and rude. They do not take customers consideration. Washroom was had plumbing issues. But to compensate this, they gave a late check out at 2pm.

To noisy Very conjusted, not enough space to work around.given stove towel to wipe our body after bath. I will never go to this hotel any more. Very dirty. No elevator. Front desk staff are completely lost. They should give me discounts and reimburse the money.

• kamla (4/5): - I believe the pictures are outdated and this property surely needs a lot of maintenance. There were no lifts and we had to carry our big suitcases to level 1. Shower head was broken, had terrible stench coming from it. Bed sheets had stains on them and the bed was hard rock, very uncomfortable. Needs deep cleaning, I wouldn’t recommend staying there. Location was great and we received a voucher for breakfast.

• Michael (6/5): Clean, but uncomfortable - This was a last minute booking as we had an early morning flight out of Labasa. Other hotels were booked. We knew this hotel wasn't fancy - we were okay with that. On the positive side, it was clean and the shower worked well. Also, the A/C worked well and was welcome after staying in an island village for the prior 5 days. On the negative side, the mattress was one of the most uncomfortable I've ever slept on. Also, the toilet had an internal leak and we could hear the drip, drip, drip all night long - even with the bathroom door closed.
• Mark (2/5): - We do not normally bother with reviews, but on this occasion, we can not even begin to say how bad it was. We spent 6 nights with very little sleep or comfort. only thing positive was 2 cleaners who were helpful. The bed is rock hard, no exaggeration!! The bathroom is falling apart, shower screen not attached to the wall. And the door which opened inward, was hanging on one hinge. Towel supply was intermittent, on one occasion we were asked if we had showered, because they were full and we wouldn’t get towels that day!! The hotel is noisey every night, especially weekends with large groups on balconies, and in front of the shop, and no security to be found. The people in reception (except one)were the worst we had ever come across in our many visits to Fiji. The room shook when traffic drove past, and the rooms are not sound proof at all to the constant traffic. Furniture was not put together properly and everything wobbled or moved when you are on it!! Be careful of the stairs, they are very uneven. Very disappointed with our money being spent here.

Hotel itself: probably a two-star quality, if you don’t expect anything from the hotel, you won’t complain much.

• Verified traveler (6/5): Still under Construction - The staff of this hotel still needs training on online bookings. They had no idea how to check my Hotels.com booking. I had to text them screenshots of my booking to prove to them that I had paid for my stay. Apart from that the first room they checked me into was not cleaned. Someone had used the toilet and not flushed and the water wouldn't drain in the shower. I was told that this hotel was new but looks like they need to finish construction first before renting rooms.
• Verified traveler (4/5): Nice looking hotel that’s about it! - First intentions of the hotel upon arrival is lovely until you look at the little details, the beds are rock hard, water doesn’t work come out of tap all the time and hot water cuts out in shower, balcony slide doors do not lock, stuff are useless and don’t really care and the WiFi doesn’t work, only up side is the A/C works
