• Baptiste (8/5): - La vue sur les rizières, et de l'autre côté vue sur les montagnes Lits confortables, grande chambre Petit dej sur la terrasse le matin La qualité de la nourriture proposée pour le déjeuner et/ou le diner La nourriture est bonne mais peu d'autres choix dans le coin ^^ Location d'un scooter vraiment pourri proposé par l'établissement, on a eu une panne et on a dû attendre 1h et demi à 2h pour qu'il soit réparé (on était heureusement à proximité d'un garage) .... Par contre ils ont pris en charge la réparation et ont été corrects mais c'est une grosse perte de temps dans la journée ^^

• Laurène (10/5): Wonderful Stay - The place is amazing with the view on the rice fields. Room is spacious and the bed is very comfortable. The terrace is perfect to enjoy breakfast or read a book with the scenic view. It's possible to rent a scooter at Candra Cottage to visit beautiful places around (waterfalls, trekking, twin lakes and so on). The owners are charming, we felt like home. The noise of roosters at night can be disturbing.

• Michel - Goûts et compagnie (10/5): Magnifique ! - Notre coup de cœur de Bali ! C’est un endroit hors du temps, où il fait bon vivre au milieu des rizières et de la vie Balinaise. Umejero est un tout petit village, à 20 min des lacs environ. On ne peut rien faire sans scooter (bon courage pour les routes) ou sans guide. Mais c’est ce qui fait son charme. Le jeune couple qui tient cet établissement est aux petits soins pour nous. Ils nous organisent des journées clés en main avec un guide (pour un guide francophone, il vaut mieux le chercher avant car pas forcément dispo). Et en rentrant, on peut leur commander des plats délicieux, qu’ils cuisinent eux même et que l’ont peut déguster devant un magnifique Sunset sur les rizières. Bref, je recommande vivement ! Le bruit des coqs la nuit, c’est vrai ça peut nous réveiller mais ça n’a pas gâché du tout notre séjour. Une salle de bain qui pourrait être améliorée car très grande mais pas très pratique.

La possibilité d’accéder à une cascade à 20min à pieds en partant de l’hôtel La SDB, très propre, mériterait un peu plus de rangements
• Kevin (6/5): Correct mais trop isolé - La vue sur les rizières et les montagnes sont top. Le gérant a été super sympa avec nous et très serviable. Il nous a trouvé un scooter à louer également un taxi pour repartir de chez lui Malheureusement, c’est très isolé de toute vie. Il n’y a rien autour et son véhicule, vous ne pouvez pas bouger. L’intérieur du logement est très minimaliste
• FANNY (8/5): Très bonne prestation mais gâchée par le bruit - Chambre vraiment sympa avec une vue de dingue , les propriétaires sont des gens très très gentils serviable et au petits soins . Très bonne communication avant et pendant . La salle de bain est très grande mais tellement triste , la chambre quand à elle très bien avec bonne literie . Possibilité de se restaurer sur place surtout après une journée à crapahuter . On est pas sûr de la grande cuisine mais ça dépanne . Petit déjeuner un peu léger le pancake est vraiment pas gros pour un bon mangeur prévoyez autre chose. On a pu faire laver notre linge super service . Le bruit le bruit et le bruit c est infernal entre les coqs enfermés chez le voisin pour les combats de coqs, l appel à la prière à 6h, les scooters qui arrivent comme des fous dans la côte avant d arriver ou qui la monte. Je l avais vu dans les commentaires mais je m attendais pas à ce point . Même avec les boules quies on entend . Mon conjoint et mes enfants n en avaient pas ils ont quasi pas dormi il n en pouvait plus . C est vraiment dommage car les propriétaires font tout et sont tellement désolés du bruit 😰

• Emma (7/5): Tres bon accueil mais isolé et bruyant - Excellent accueil. Les propriétaires sont d'une grande gentillesse et disponibles. La maison est entourée de rizières magnifiques, le panorama est superbe tout comme la région. La maison est isolée de tout. Si vous n'avez pas de moyen de locomotion il faudra prendre un chauffeur privé pour tous vos déplacements (restaurants activités etc..). Par ailleurs c'est très bruyant, la maison est juste à côté d'une ferme et d'une route tres passante. Des 5h coqs poules chiens et motos vous réveillent.
• laurence (9/5): Très bon - L’accueil des jeunes propriétaires et leur disponibilité totale La terrasse qui surplombe une nature exceptionnelle : rizières , forêt tropicale, le tout entouré de fermes et de leurs habitants qui vivent leur quotidien… une ambiance authentique quand on veut connaître le Bali des montagnes et des campagnes. On a ADORÉ ! Salle de bain immense mais avec un minimum d’équipements … mais ça suffit si m’o est pas exigeants !

We vergaten een zak met kleren in de taxi die ons naar Candra’s Cottage bracht, en de gastheer reed helemaal naar Lovina om hem op te halen! We konden ons geen beter verblijf in Munduk wensen! Helemaal niets!

• Ankit (10/5): Worth every penny! - The 360 view from the room, waking up to the gentle sun and sleeping admist what feels like a blanket of stars! The hosts are by far the kindnest people we've come across in Bali. Priscila is such a great cook, we recommend you request them to make you dinner instead of going out. Healthy, light and yum food.

They have a small menu that serve food until late in the evening so it is perfect for the location being a bit further from town center. However if you rent a bike the location is perfectly fine. The room and facility is clean and well managed.

I watched the most wonderful sunset on one side, a visual show between the clouds, mountains, birds and the sun. and beautiful sunrise on the other balcony. You see all the stars at night Very accommodating hosts, they provide everything needed, they are very calm and also give ample space comfortable bed (best I’ve come across in Bali so far) good location to do trips to Lovina (dolphins!) and nearby waterfalls. the cottage arranged a driver with customizable itinerary very clean and tasteful room. Simple decoration featuring wood floors lovely balcony too You need transpiration for most things outside, not very walkable. But I was okay with this as I wanted to spend some time in and the place was beautiful for this. This applies to most places as Munduk region is spread out (compared to Ubud)

• Barbara (10/5): Exceptional - We loved our time at Candra Cottage. The views from the balcony and room are beautiful and you can spend hours sitting outside appreciating it. The family that runs the place is lovely and very helpful. They make delicious food, which is available for you to order for lunch and dinner. The property is located on this nice village, and people are so friendly and smiling. There is a nice and quite waterfall 20 minutes walking from the homestay. We really enjoyed our time there and wish to come back one day. Nothing. The only comment is that you need a scooter or can to move around the area.

Very beautiful location, quiet, wonderful rice fields around, room very clean, bright and big with many windows. Nice terrace on the 3 floor with lovely view. The owner is friendly couple, they cook for us tasty dinner and breakfast and serve in our terrace. It was unforgettable time in Candra Cottage❤️ I am recommend for romantic couple to spend time in this place 😍🙏

The view from the room was amazing, with mountains stretching out as far as the eye could see. The family is very welcoming, they gave awesome recommendations for nearby hikes and treated us to homemade meals. Highly recommended!
• Marco (10/5): Sleeping staring at the nature - Putu and his family are welcoming and nice, the upstair rooms are big, with giants windows to enjoy the valley and mountain view from your bed. Outside there are table, chairs, a big terrace to enjoy the environment, which is definitely the best "item" here. Lovely stay! Breakfast was good and served on the room's terrace.

The views over the surrounding countryside were amazing. The food was delicious especially the Balinese breakfasts which we loved. Enjoyable walk to nearby Air Terjun Waterfall. Nothing worth mentioning, we thought it was good value for money.

Helping make the food we brought to prepare and just being nice people. The view was absolutely incredible!!! The walls were very thin, and we were woken up very early by the roosters and music of the neighbors. The location is pretty far from everything, so just be prepared for that.

The rooms are clean, big and the food is delicious. They respect your privacy but are there for you in the minute you need something. We tried the wedding-costume & make-up photos and were impressed about Pricilla's beauty-studio and her professionalism. You made our honeymoon perfect, thank you so much!
• Kseniya (10/5): Hidden gem in the middle of the lush green paradise - 1. The place is perfect if u want to see the authentic, natural, uncrowded, untouched Bali 2. I will never forget those amazing views on the rice fields on the sunrise and mountains and sea on the sunset from the cottage (u have two terraces so u see both) 3. The area is so unique, green, peaceful- u can see the traditional village life and local people doing their chores, children flying kites in the middle of the rice fields, local people preparing for the rituals 4. We rented the motorbike from the hosts and explored beautiful nature (endless waterfalls, rice fields, jungles) and villages around.The roads in the area are hilly and tight and can be challenging for an inexperienced scooter driver- but we managed and enjoyed them as we come from a very mountainous country) 5. Hosts are very polite and welcoming. Food was great Even if there are some very minor things which could be improved in the facilities-they dont really matter comparing to the unforgettable views and atmosphere u get in this cottage)
• Ray (10/5): Exceptional - I wish that I could keep this guesthouse all to myself...my own little secret...but I owe this review because it is such a wondrous spot, and the host, Putu, is the gentlest, most helpful and accommodating person. Room 1, at the top of the 22 steps. WOW!! What superb 360° views, over rice paddies to distant mountains, and not so distant 2 (inactive) volcanoes. The room was immaculate. Clean, bright, and with a super-comfortable bed. Sitting out on the balcony you just lose yourself in the magnificent natural surrounds, and you can even watch the daily afternoon kite flying battles. Umejero Village itself is the cleanest (absolutely no litter), quietist and friendliest village, or town, that I have come across on my 3 trips to Bali. I WILL RETURN! There...my secret is out. Putu you are a beautiful soul. Thank you. Nothing to dislike!

Priscilla and her husband are incredible hosts, we actually became very good friends and have stayed in touch since, also I was given a lift to my next home stay as I’ve never been to the area which was so helpful. It’s my first time traveling alone and I felt really safe. I was cooked a lovely breakfast which was brought up to my room and I had an authentic lunch which was really tasty. I will be going back there to stay even just to visit the hosts as they were so kind. The views here are next level and I feel very grateful 😊

If you are looking for a quiet and calm location to relax and unwind that is the best place, away from the crowd. The room is spacious and comfortable with an amazing view over the hills, rice terraces and even the sea. Priscila made us delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner everyday and we couldn't get enough of her mie goreng :) Priscilla and her husband also offer day trips around the area and beauty treatments. We went on a day trip around the village and learn about picking cloves and coffe beans. My wife also booked facial and wore traditional balinese wedding dress. We had so much fun, can't recommend enough! Best place in Munduk! /

The room was simple and clean, the bed - big & comfy, the views were unsurpassed and the breakfast - think 5 star Indonesian fare with all the trimmings. No detail was spared, recommendations were readily available and overall - the entire experience has definitely created a return client in me. Thank you for everything ❤️😊

Gede notre hôte propose de nombreuses activités très appréciables et est prêt à rendre service dès que possible avec de petites attentions. Pour la tranquillité cet établissement est parfait mais est un peu excentré, il faut un moyen de locomotion pour être tranquille.
• Lena (10/5): An authentic and unforgettable Bali experience - I can’t recommend Candra Cottage enough. I wanted to experience authentic Bali and definitely got the chance to here. The host, Gede, made my stay extra special. He picked me up from the airport and drove me around to all of the sites I wanted to see. As a solo female traveler, I couldn’t have felt more comfortable spending the day with someone. He was kind, generous, and protective. He told me about an orphanage he volunteers for because I’m a teacher and then took me there the following day when I requested to spend some time with the kids. The view from the balcony of the hotel was the best I’d seen in Bali, and the breakfast and dinner were great as well. I only wish I could have spent more time there. Thank you Gede!
• Verified traveler (6/5): - De ligging was schittetend wat een mooi uitzicht. Jammer dat er geen airconditioning of waaier was, het was erg benauwd. Veel ongedierte in de kamer en badkamer. Geen faciliteiten in de badkamer, zosls stroom, spiegel, niets om je spullen kwijt te kunnen.
