She did not have to make us dinner upon late arrival, but, she insisted, and we enjoyed the grilled cheese sandwiches, chips and cookies, immensely!!! My husband was born and raised in Arkansas, and has been to Heber Springs many times, however, this was my first visit and I'm excited to go house hunting, today!!! We sincerely thank you, Debbie, for your wonderful hospitality!!! Truly, God led us to this place!!!

- rosellam613 (10/5): Wonderful - This is the second year in a row that we have stayed here. This place is wonderful. Grounds are very pretty with lots of deer to see. Very peaceful and quiet. Rooms are very comfortable and very clean. Dan and Debbie are very friendly and helpful. They make you feel at home. Debbie is a great cook. The breakfast that you get each morning is fantastic. The price for all you get is very affordable and a great value.You won’t find a better place to stay. We plan to stay here any time we are in Heber Springs.

- Melody De (10/5): - This place is incredible! The owners are amazing people who enjoy sharing a wealth of information about the area you certainly will want to learn. As well as being a peaceful place in the country only 4 miles from Sugar Loaf Mountain, we were served a wonderful freshly cooked breakfast! It is clean, tranquil, has the kindest people who treat you like family. Across the hall from the room we chose, the Magnolia Room, is a cinema room with comfy seating, a generous dvd video library and a huge screen! I especially appreciate that there are numerous childrens videos and Christian movies to enjoy! There is a neat little library for cozy reading just outside the cinema room. Upon entering Abbe House Inn visitors are welcomed by a large lounging area that has a cozy fireplace as they pass through to the home style dining area. From there a large, covered back porch can be seen through windows and doors, perfect for coffee time or reading. Just beyond the porch is a beautiful place to have a wedding. Don’t worry if it happens to rain, the covered porch is perfect for a backup plan! If you visit Heber Springs, you won’t be disappointed if you stay at Abbe House Inn! There is nearby trout fishing in the Little Red River and Greers Ferry Lake is not far away! We also noticed there are numerous hiking trails and a bike trail here, we hope to learn more about that.

- Rosella (10/5): Wonderful place to stay!!!! - Where to begin this place is amazing. Very beautiful and quiet. Everything very clean. Sit out under the huge back patio in whatever chair you desire. A lot of little perks you dont get everywhere. Foaming hand soap in your private bathroom. Soft huge fluffy towels. Snack stuff available any time. Also Popcorn and chocolate along with coffee, hot chocolate and ice water any time. Dan and Debbie are very friendly and you couldnt ask for a better hostess and host. Debbie is a wonderful cook. Breakfast which is made when you order it was amazing every morning and we were there for 7 mornings. We had sourdough bread toast, french toast, bacon, scrambled eggs, fried eggs, wonderful omelets, waffles with homemade blueberry syrup and strawberry syrup, breakfast casserole, sausage gravy and biscuits. We were there long enough we got to try it all. But every morning there was your choice of toast, with bacon and eggs any way you want them. Also different kinds of coffee cakes some mornings which were all very good. Along with bananas, bars, instant oatmeal. Wonderful, wonderful place to stay. My daughter and I have told everybody we have been around about this place. Will definately stay here again when we are back in the area. Very reasonably priced also.

Beds are very good and comfortable. Quiet and peaceful grounds plus kind and welcoming hosts make this one of our favorite places to stay.

- 770marcieh (10/5): A extraordinary experience at Abbe House Inn - We arrived at Abbe House Inn in April 2024 and were greeted by our host. We were quickly checked in and shown to our lovely rooms. These room are so inviting and had anything we might need and more. Our host took us on a tour and we saw the beautiful grounds which were calling us to sit for a while. We were given a list of restaurants and we were off to a great start of our weekend. The next morning we were made a wonderful and delicious breakfast each meal prepared for us individually to our liking. It felt like home. We would highly recommend Abbe House Inn and we will be back for sure. This is a calm, beautiful environment where you can sit on the front porch and just take in all the beauty as you reconnect with nature. Truly a wonderful experience at a very reasonable price. The attention to detail was incredible. Thank you Abbe House Inn for being the most gracious of hosts.

- janetricoe (10/5): Felt like a queen for a week! - Our second time at Abby House Inn was just as good as the first time. We drove in on a Tuesday evening of Spring Break expecting to see it full except for us. But it wasn't! We were their only guests. What's wrong with everybody? Abbé House has excellent hosts, wonderful breakfasts and comfortable rooms. Dan and Debbie are the hosts, and they make you feel as if this is your home. Dan welcomed us at the door when we first arrived. Debbie gave us access to the refrigerator so anything from our car could be kept cool. She also helped us find all the antique and second-hand stores (there's quite a few!). Each day she was willing to spruce up our room should we desire it. Both are warm and friendly to adults and children. The rooms are tastefully decorated with queen beds, ample seating, and Roku streaming on the television. I can't remember how many rooms, but each has an en suite bath with a tub that has jets! And speaking as one with Lupus, the tub was one of my favorite perks. The beds are queen-sized and so comfortable with 4 fluffy pillows. They also have a movie room with a big screen and ample DVD for children and families. Debbie makes wonderful breakfasts--to order! She also provides various juices, a Keurig with a variety of coffee flavors and strengths, fruit, tea, hot chocolate, oatmeal and Fruit Loops for children. The coffee bar is always open, BTW. We also had opportunity to eat in their cozy dining room with a 2-wall fireplace or al fresco under a nice, airy porch! I can't imagine why no one else was here with us this week. Kind hosts, comfortable bedrooms, really good food, and quiet atmosphere. What's not to love????

- ANTHONY (10/5): - My wife and I were planning a visit to Heber Springs specifically to photograph the migratory trumpeter swans which winter nearby every winter. For our purposes, the Abbé House Inn was ideal. The Old Mill room which we booked is large, comfortable and clean. The en-suite bathroom was consistent with the room. The hosts are very congenial, helpful and very welcoming. The cooked-to-order breakfasts were delicious each day. We were offered a variety of choices each day so we got a variety. The omelettes are highly recommended. The Inn would be a great location for a family reunion or something more intimate. We will be back!

- Steinwaygrand (10/5): Wonderful visit - We had a wonderful stay at the Abbe house Inn. It was a last minute decision as we were leaving Searcy to head north, and it was the best decision! The hosts are very friendly and go out of their way to make your stay a special one. The facilities are beautiful. We stayed in the New Orleans room on the second floor. The bed was extremely comfortable and we had a wonderful nights sleep. the scenery is beautiful and we woke up in the morning and went and sat on the back deck and enjoyed the view, also watching the deer. We had some delicious coffee and the owner cooked us up a wonderful breakfast and we also had a very lovely conversation with her. We would love to go back here and stay a few days! Definitely a place for a return visit.

Homemade country breakfasts, 24 coffee and tea bar, and snacks galore! We will definitely be back for another visit!

- Stay53912896960 (10/5): Comfortable and welcoming - Great place to stay! Quiet, beautiful location. Owners very friendly. My room was comfortable. Big fluffy towels! Enjoyed a delicious breakfast. I was up early. Coffee and strawberry coffee cake awaited! I enjoyed both, sitting out on the patio in a rocking chair. Deer and a horse were grazing in the field next door. Later I had eggs, bacon and sourdough toast while enjoying fellowship with some of the other guests.

- Jon (10/5): First trip to Heber springs - Very impressed with the appearance of the property and was greeted by name when we walked in the door. After checking in we were lead to our room which was just as impressive as outside. The room was quiet, comfortable and had everything that we needed for our stay. When we got up and went down to breakfast we were greeted with a smile and was told our options for breakfast which was made fresh and to order after eating had a pleasant conversation with one of the owners who gave us ideas of things to do and places to go. The next morning we were greeted with the same wonderful attitude and personal attention even though there were at least twice the number of guest. We will be back and would highly recommend for anyone traveling to Heber Springs to stay at the Abbie house.

We decided to drive out and see, so upon arrival we found Debbie, Dan and daughter cleaning after their last guest had departed. They had a room and we were treated as royalty/family all at the same time. The nights rest was wonderful as was breakfast. We will be back. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

- PAMELA (10/5): Lovely respite! - The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the proprietors could not have been more welcoming or accommodating. Snacks are available 24/7 and there are lovely seating areas outside to enjoy the greenery. Breakfast was delicious. There was no shower in my room, which I hadn’t realized ahead of time, but there was a jetted tub which worked out just fine. I assume at least some of the other rooms have showers, so I recommend checking if that’s important to you. I definitely plan to stay here again.

The hosts, Dan and Debbie are hard-working people who make sure your stay is great. The property is peaceful but close enough to town that you can enjoy all that Heber Springs has to offer.

- Rodney (10/5): A great price for a awesome place to stay. - My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Abbey House. Our host were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was wonderful. We had an omelet with bacon ad toast. The surroundings were very nice with lots of crickets. We were out in the country. The only part of the visit that I did not like was the fact we did not have a shower in the room we rented. It was a big bath tub jucuzzi with a shower handle connected to the tube. To take a shower I would have had to hold the shower handle while sitting in the tub. I'm sure the other rooms had a shower but this one did not. We stayed in the Magnolia room. We would choose to stay again but would make sure we had a shower.
- Rebecca (10/5): - It was our first time staying at a bed-and-breakfast. This stay did not disappoint. We came on Valentine's weekend and we're given a dinner option for an extra fee and it was so good. One of the owners cooked us breakfast the next morning. Eggs, bacon and toast. They also had juice and coffee and tea. Will definitely be back. It was nice and quiet there.
