• Ignas (9/5): Good place to stay near airport - Very clean, absolutely soundproof, nice loby bar. Pleasent staf working at the check in desk. The breakfest is very basic and rude breakfest staf working in the kitchen.

• Umberto (8/5): Overall, a good stay with excellent cleanliness. - I stayed at Courtyard by Marriott Luton Airport and was very satisfied with my stay. The hotel was very clean and well maintained, and the room was comfortable. I didn’t like being knocked on my room door to remind me that housekeeping would come later to clean, especially since it was only 9:30am and check-out was at 12.

I asked for a quiet room for work, and other than a few noises from the pipes, I heard nothing for the 3 nights I was there. Really appreciated that! I had a fantastic window in my room where you could sit and just look at the sky. Everything was so clean. Staff were so helpful and friendly. I had dinner in the hotel 2 nights and really enjoyed both meals (mash potatoes were sooo good!). You had the option to bring the food to your room which was really handy. Nice breakfast with good selection and served from 4:30am. Bus stop right outside the door. Also had parking for those who drive (I didnt personally use this). Exceeded my expectations. I will be back to the Marriot again. Thank you!

Group of staff hanging around another colleague who had his laptop open at the bar. He was in uniform. They were talking about all the customers and laughing. Food was also tasteless. I told the waitress and she gave me two small bottles of Coke.

• IlariaCalleg (1/5): - I got charged twice for the room as the staff is not trained to work with bookings coming from booking.com. I booked a room with a 'payment on arrival' option. When we were on route to the hotel, I decided to pay with the 'pay now' option inside the booking.com system, as it was late and my son was asleep and wanted to speed up the check-in process. I received an email confirmation from booking.com that the payment went through ok. When we got to the hotel, the lady at reception asked us to pay again. I said we did pay already, show her the email confirmation, show her my banking app with the payment done an hour earlier, but she insisted that the booking was 'payment on arrival'. I explained to her and to the other man at reception that you can also opt to 'pay now' inside booking.com, but they kept on saying that it was 'payment on arrival', so I had to pay again. The man even said they will issue me an invoice for the payment and to use it to complain directly to booking.com. Did you see the invoice? I didn't either, as it never got issued. Now I've contacted booking.com customer service, and they need to check the payment with the hotel as it was a direct charge. 10 days later and still waiting for hotel to reply to booking.com. I hope they reply is faster than the invoice I am still waiting to receive. See above

• ELENA (7/5): Un hotel funcional a prop de l'aeroport de Luton. - L'ubicació a prop de l'aeroport, raó per la qual vam reservar en aquest hotel. Vam arribar cap a les 20,15h i vam marxar a les 4,30h de la matinada, per tant no vam gaudir massa de l'hotel. L'hotel és correcte, habitació confortable i amb un bon llit. És un hotel molt funcional. Al ser un Marriott m'esperava alguna cosa més. Sobre tot em va sorprendre que no tingués un servei de transport gratuït a l'aeroport. Vam tenir que agafar l'autobús públic, que passa pel davant mateix, però que suposa adaptar-te al seu horari, no al que a tu et convé. A més, té un cost. L´hotel disposa d'una cafeteria que fa les funcions de restaurant. Això també em va cridar l'atenció, doncs esperava trobar un restaurant a l'alçada de la categoria d'aquesta cadena.

Room was a great size, bed was very comfortable and good range of options for dinner in the evening. Great that the car park was onsite for ease. Food could have been better in the restaurant in the evening, and I thought there was a faint drain smell in the bathroom of our room. For the purpose of our stay though, we were very comfortable and happy.
