The service was truly top-tier—professional, attentive, and always delivered with a smile. Every single detail was taken care of, and we always felt looked after. We have a gluten-free diet, which can sometimes be challenging while traveling, but Chable Maroma exceeded our expectations. The kitchen staff accommodated us beautifully with delicious gluten-free meals that didn’t feel like an afterthought. The combination of genuine hospitality, high-end service, and family-friendly atmosphere made this trip unforgettable. We can’t wait to come back!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Really lovely - Make sure you book a room on the upper floor villas, since the bottom floor (or jungle rooms) tends to get loud from upstairs neighbors and get many bugs. Food is usually either kinda lame or very weird, so don’t stay for more than 5 days or you’ll go stir crazy eating the same things day in and day out. Very out of the way, quiet, private, and lovely. It’s everything the white lotus wishes it was. Just bring bug spray.

Our daughter has celiac and the chefs and staff went out of their way to keep her safe. The villa was beautiful, large, and extremely clean. The spa was so peaceful and beautiful. The staff made us feel like family. We are counting the days until we can return.

It is a remote location and was perfect for celebrating our 20th anniversary!!! Everything was exceptional. Add to this an incredible beach location, extremely high standards of service, an amazing pool; not to mention a fabulous spa treatment!! Room are spectacular with you own private mini pool. The room we chose was a Jungle pool villa. It was secluded yet close to the pool and restaurants. The rooms are spacious and the bath is one of a kind. The best part: an indoor shower and an outdoor shower and you felt like you were in the jungle (very private). The food in the restaurants was amazing. The service at the beach/ swimming pool was top notch! The service at the restaurants was also excellent. We will definitely be back!!!

Thought the food and wine was a bit overpriced and seemed a little chincy to be giving away free soda and water in the room but charging a ridiculous price at lunch or dinner or the beach for the same thing, especially at this hotel price point. Honestly, I think they'd be better served by going up slightly on the price and making it an all-inclusive exclusive of alcohol.

La comida si necesita una mayor atención ya que los precios están muy altos, para la comida que te sirven que no está muy buena en general. Nosotros no tenemos problema con pagar comida cara, pero que realmente esté buena para que uno disfrute lo que está pagando.

- Angela (8/5): - The property is beautiful to walk through and the suite was quiet and very lovely to stay in. However, we could look at the pool suite diagonal from us so had guests been staying there, it would not have been private for either guests. Small bamboo or grass walls attached to the corner of the pools would easily solve that problem, similar to the ground suites. The staff, especially in the restaurants and around the pool, are the nicest people and we enjoyed getting to know some of them. Service was excellent throughout the resort. Be prepared for a windy beach and higher than normal costs for food and drinks except beer was more reasonable. Purchase alcohol at the airport or on your way to the resort. Overall, a wonderful place to put your feet up for awhile, guests mostly keep to themselves so this is not a party place but a place to relax and rejuvenate. The resort offers limited transportation choices which are costly so be prepared to look for alternate choices. We used the resorts transportation at $390 USD (book well in advance) and it was really nice but there are more affordable ways to get to and from.

- laurie (10/5): - Top notch everything. Very service oriented with helpful and friendly staff, lovely well maintained rooms and property, great food, great white sand beach with nearby reefs. No complaints other than a couple mornings, the folks below us used up all the hot water for the shower before us but other than that, had no issues. Very relaxing and serene setting away from the other resorts that border each other in this part of the Yucatan. At times it felt like we had the beach all to ourselves. Saw lots of wildlife on the property encouraged by the still wild areas around it - coatis, raccoons, capybaras and many different types of birds. The coatis will enter your room if you aren’t careful. I was in the bathroom for 2 minutes and left the door to the patio open and discovered one had gotten on top of the dining table in that time.

This on top of the serenity of the grounds annd there villa and welcoming staff. All were absolutely exactly what you need if you are looking to unplug and hit peak relaxation.

I have been at the Merida property and even though it is expensive it exceeded my expectations; thatch’s why I wanted to meet their Quintana Roo property.This other property is very nice, however it does not justify the high price, especially because there are so many outstanding resorts in the area.

- Julie MarieCook (10/5): - Everything was amazing! The daily breakfast that was included was absolutely delicious! We highly recommend the French fries and guacamole pool side as well. Luis, our pool side attendant and Aram, our concierge, were top notch, along with everyone else that works there! Our only challenge was we weren’t aware it was a cashless resort, so we weren’t able to break our big bills for individual tips. We recommend you bring small bills ($1’s and $5’s) for tipping purposes!

The villas were comfortable and beautiful. The property is well designed and provides lots of privacy. The beach was well maintained. Nothing like afternoon popcycles on the beach. Housekeeping noted we drank Coke Lite and kept our in-room fridge well stocked. We cannot wait to visit another Chable property soon!!!

Beach is a little seaweed-y, but they rake it frequently (they do all they can to make it better) and it’s far less than other areas I’ve been down there. Resort is extremely quiet. We brought our one year old and they were very kind and accommodating.

The service was amazing, both beach and poolside and at the the restaurants. The food is very good at both the main restaurant and the Raw Bar, which is a lovely place for a drink and casual dinner. The hotel also has a 5 star option called Buul which is absolutely outstanding. Loved this hotel.

- Rick (10/5): Start your day with chilaquiles! - The service was very good, but became inconsistent during our stay. Fruit was not replenished in the room. Snacks not provided at raw bar at sunset. Wait staff requested “cash tip” for our last meal at Bu’ul. These issues were very minor, but surprising at such an exclusive over the top property. We would not hesitate to go back and intend to visit Yucatán location in future. The craft cocktails were outstanding. The bed was the most comfortable I’ve ever experienced. The architecture almost invisible with the nature surrounding it. But far, far and away the best experience was starting our day out with the best breakfast items I’ve ever had.

I've stayed at several resorts in Mexico, from Rosewood and Fairmont Mayakoba, to Nizuc, to Le Blanc and many others. Here are my takeaways: Food: EXCEPTIONAL. Truly a culinary experience and privilege to eat at the restaurants. By far the best dining experiences to date. Beach: BEST beach in Mexico so far. Why? On both sides, you have protected land, so no neighboring hotels. Nothing but white, powder sand. The sand doesn't get hot, and it feels like real powder on your feet. Yes, there is seaweed in the mornings, but they clean it up by 830AM. We caught the sunrise every morning, and it was spectacular. Pool: No other word comes to mind but PERFECT. And the view of the ocean from the pool is amazing. Spa: Very tranquil, treatment rooms are nice. I do prefer the Spa's at Nizuc and Rosewood as they offer more (steam, sauna, multiple plunge pools, etc) but the Chable isn't going for that, so for this trip, the Spa at Chable was just fine. They do need to update their jacuzzi and plunge pool. It's rather old. Villas: we stayed in the Serenity Villa. The indoor/outdoor shower was great! This resort is perfect for couples, and groups. Not kid friendly (yay), and not many activities on property. Do not walk...RUN to this hotel and enjoy. Perfect place to go with your someone special.

We love the cooking classes and yoga on the beach every morning. Its the perfect location for a relaxing and private vacation. We can't wait to go back.

- Andre (4/5): - This hotel it great for couples and honeymooners if you ask for the stand alone villa make sure the swimming pool it is clean and working before your arrival, we only used it one day after that they didn't clean it and the filter was not working. The Spa t is the best aset in this property. The need a better management the have a great property with great food but the amenities some service personal and room maintenance is pretty bad.

The villas were beautiful and private. The beach was gorgeous. The staff was so friendly and their attention to detail was top notch. The food was amazing. Very well thought out with lots of ingredients grown at the resort. They will pretty much make you anything you request as well. There are only 70 villas so it does not feel like a mega resort with people every where. It is very calm and peaceful! A beautiful retreat.

Not sure why as there were not many check ins at t same time as ours . The food is amazing !!!! Mexicans are gentle and kind people per nature so service was great. The only issue and for me a huge issue because i am allergic to mosquito bites . There are these tinytiny mosquitoes that eat you alive specially on t beach and they devour you as soon as you arrive on t beach specially in t morning ! such a beautiful property but nature sometimes wins over development . I am somehow glad it does . Just wear light long sleeves and pants when on t beach ?
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Dirt and scum in the shallow part of the pool so baby couldn’t play there. Mosquitos that were never dealt with and rooms not suitable in keeping them out. Building works next door to our bedroom continuing until 11:30pm at night. Beach service only provided (only wanted a glass of water) after being out there for over an hour. Also told no umbrellas permitted so we could have our baby at the beach..and following day finding two couples with umbrellas..

- Verified traveler (10/5): - It's a beautiful quaint boutique like hotel, subtle class. Our villa was a short walk to the spa/gym and to the pool/beach/restaurants. The cuisine is amazing, they prepare and serve with passion and expertise.From the fresh juices in the morning to the 6 course tasting menu everything is fresh and quintessentially Mexican culture. The staff are also incredible, helpful, pleasant and professional.The villa was comfortable and large, we had our own plunge pool, there's an outdoor shower next to the indoor shower, the bed and linens are also top notch...theres a large window the size of a wall with an electric shade and black out shade that is in front of a beautiful tropical garden so it feels like its in the room , we also liked the separate toilets in the bathroom. The spa service that i had was very nice but be prepared to pay...be sure to read the fine print on the spa menu. They also offer hydrotherapy pools complimentary and thats a nice touch .Yoga on the beach as special and the instructor was excellent. It's for the couple ,family or people who desire a quiet, relaxing, elegant , holiday and it's only a short 35 minute drive from Cancun airport. This place cannot be described properly, it's perfect , 5 star x 10! I'd say the only negative is that because they are situated amongst mangroves there are mosquitos but they supply repellant.

- Verified traveler (10/5): - Our first time in Mexico, we come from Switzerland and compare to European comparables (apologies for tautology) in terms of price as well as to Be Tulum hotel where we stayed before we came to Chable. Few, I hope, useful observations for those who consider. Frist of all the hotel is newly opened and you can feel that all personnel is very motivated to deliver to allow the hotel to gain its market share. Service was, therefore, 10/10 as per our judgment. Quality of food in hotel restaurants (they have three) is simply the best we had in Mexico (comparing, once again, to top Tulum restaurants), we had pleasure to meet and talk to the Chef and made some useful remarks for ourselves on Mexican cuisine and cooking in general (we like Michelin guide and 1 start Michelins type of food – not too sophisticated, generally very tasty). Location - very well positioned because of the curvature of the coast, you are completely remote from other hotels. We had morning runs along the coast line (both to the right and to the left) and made sad discovery when compared prices of CM to some hotels there which popped up on the google map – some hotels there are not that much cheaper than Chable Maroma but I feel sorry for people decided to save a bit and stayed in these hotels, beach is dirty, hotels come one after another. Anyways, aftertaste is great, just like is value for money (which I cannot tell about Be Tulum;)).

- Edward (10/5): - Chable’ Maroma was a beautiful place to stay and I would highly recommend it! Though the property is on the beach, it also makes you feel as if you are in the middle of a lush jungle. The villas are amazing, from your own private dip pool to the outdoor shower and all the accoutrements inside of it. The service was top notch, as all staff were both incredibly friendly and knowledgeable of all about the resort. Lastly, the food is excellent! Every meal was delicious and fresh, and served beautifully.
- Carmen (10/5): Family vacation in paradise - We had a lovely family vacation at this beautiful smaller hotel at the stunning beach of Playa Maroma. Such a pretty resort with a lot of attention to details, SUPERB SERVICE and AWESOME FOOD (2 restaurants, pool bar & sunset bar). SPACIOUS AND LUXURIOUS ROOMS in individual villas/cabanas each with it's private decent sized PLUNGE POOL (unfortunately not heated), large furnished patio (daybed + outdoor dining table with chairs) and HUGE BATHROOM (with large in-&outdoor rain showers). Nicely equipped GYM and beautiful SPA area with separate pool (for adults only). We were traveling with a 1.5year old toddler and they treated our girl like a princess, she had her own high chair at the restaurant and they would make special meals for her on request (breakfast, lunch & dinner). EXTREMELY FRIENDLY and VERY DEDICATED STAFF in all areas of the hotel. BEAUTIFUL POOL AREA just a few steps from the PRISTINE BEACH with its white sand and blue waters of the Caribbean sea. Also like to mention the great concierge service, they address all your needs and wishes immediately. Hotel offers private transportation from/to airport or for any excursions (all at extra cost of course), they will even provide car seat for your child if you request one.
