- Toozgx (5/5): Good location, but hotel itself could use refurbishing. May not suit people who prioritise comfort. - Best part of the hotel would be its location, it's near a newer area in the region. Quite a number of restaurants and convenience store within walking distance. The hotel itself, have to say the room size and bedding were reasonably decent. Facilities are a little worn out for the room we stayed in. The window seal is not good, so it gets a little leaky during heavy rains. The bathroom drain was clogged, and the floor could still use a good cleaning to be more acceptable.

- Rosni (5/5): Passable - Location close to shops. Easy to Grab/foodpanda. -check-in took quite some time. -there were hairs everywhere; on the tables, bed, floor, toilet. I assumed the cleaning staff didnt vacuum the room. -there were stains on the bedsheet. -the water tap on the sink, the mirror, the toilet bowl, the toilet walls was dirty. -the cup and water heater didnt look clean. -the praying mat looked like it hadnt been washed for quite some time. -the floor mat looked like a dirty rag. -didnt understand why the bigger shower head is slightly over to the toilet bowl instead of the middle of shower area. -the towel had been washed i dont know many times until it is hard on your skin. -the door didnt close all the way on your way out. You have to manually pull it close. -the surface of the iron provided in the corridor was badly damaged. I think your cloth will definitly be burned if u use it. -i dont know about the other rooms, but mine was windowless, so if you are claustrophobic, ask for a room with a window (if they have one). -if i turn off the toilet fan and aircond, i can hear this significant constant buzzing sound coming from the power box. It's annoying if u are sensitive to sound.
- Lai (7/5): It is a decent hotel for an overnight stay. - Good value for the hotel, need to set the right expectation for the value you paid. The bathroom is still wet when we just checked in. The bathroom is small and the shower water could splash to the entire bathroom causing it to be super wet. There was a scorpion in the ceiling when we waked up and turned on the light. We have informed the reception about the scorpion when we checked out on the morning.

- Khairul (7/5): Will stay again - If you stay on Wednesday, there is a "pasar petang" till 7pm. Plenty of local favorite food & drinks to buy. No windows (can't complain, budget room)
- Akimo2 (7/5): A relaxing jotel for staycation. - RG Grand Hotel staff are friendly. The room are clean and ready during our check-in as we travel long journey from Singapore. Hotel are nearby food stall along the roadside, 24hrs stall , mini marts shop and laundrette shop. It nice place for staycation as area are quiet and there is security guards at the hotel for safety of guest. There is nearby mosque and you can hear the azan in the early morning. And few restaurant along the road are seafood restaurant during evening hours. Journey to travel from hotel to batu pahat Town takes 30 mins. Same goes travel to ayer hitam Town. Me and my wife feel so relaxing while staying at RG Grand Hotel. There is avaliable parking lots in front of hotels area. RG Grand Hotel need some improvement in front of hotel entrance, where the step need to raise higher for those elders who unable to get by stairs and the slope for the luggage is too steep and short. Also the staircase going to room at level 1 was not advisable for the elders. Owner or management of the RG Grand hotel need to figure out for future and moving ahead. Need to be more proactive while making rooms as there is only 3 nos of hangers at the closet when booking was made with 2 pax and 4 days stay. Inside room should have night light switch during asleep. If not the room will become too dark.
