Guest Reviews
- Christopher Bennett (5/5): - Not alot really, bit cheap and nasty but it done the job The cheapness of everything
- Pauline (10/5): - I enjoyed my break and will be back ☺️
- michelle (6/5): Good location, about 1 1/2 miles from main beach. - Walking distance to saundersfoot town Smelt bit damp & expensive for 1 night stay
- William (5/5): was told we were upgraded but were downgraded to a chalet - had a hot tub booked for a lodge/bungalow was told we were upgraded to be put in a chalet
- Louis (1/5): - Staff were great Pool was closed due to boiler break no ones fault at all,
Hot tub needs servicing or replacing as control panel didn't work fully when wet?
Property was good but couldn't get the temp right as it was on timmers in the bedroom and as soon as it went on to work was absolutely boiling
- PATRICK (8/5): Great Chalet, better with added refinements - Spacious chalet, comfy beds and facilities, including the extra conservatory. Large fridge freezer handy! Good bathrooms, water pressure great for showers. Feels like home from home. 1. No bedroom TVs.
2. No free wifi (would be nice to be included in the chalet package to compliment the tv) esp for rainy days.
3. For the high price £260+ for single night, a small complimentary welcome pack would be appreciated.
4. Board Games and books....
- Lowri (5/5): Uncomfortable stay due to noise and lack of working facilities - The location is very convenient to travel Pembrokeshire. The bungalow was warm and had everything we needed for our stay. The food in the club house was good and the staff were friendly. The lane from the bungalows to the main site / clubhouse is dangerous no pavement in parts and unlit. The hot tub was leaking. The pool was unheated and experiencing technical difficulties which was really disappointing. In the attic of the bungalow there seems to be a pest problem, we were awake at night due to the noise of an animal jumping / scratching. Also a lot of noise from next door.
- Crystal (5/5): - No lighting in garden . Hot tub was cold
Couldnt get hold of anyone to raise the issues
- Robert (7/5): -
- Steve (8/5): -
- Rhiannon (10/5): -
- Thomas (5/5): Very basic needed to wash plates spiders on ceilings -
- Davies (9/5): - The Bungalow was well equipped and the hot tub was great. There was nothing we didn't like.
- jane (8/5): Brilliant thank you - Hot tub Staff coming to check hot tub temperature without prior warning. Appreciate it needs to be done but was bit embarrassing
- Kirsty (4/5): - We enjoyed our stay the first night as everything was in working order and the bunglow we stayed in was lovely. Staff were helpful on the first night On our second day we went to use the hot tub but it was dirty with mud and leaves we couldn't get out and were unable to use it. Or we couldn't watch tv as there was no signal. So we were boerd with very little to do! As there was no staff as reception was shut early
- zoe (10/5): Lovely quiet remote area peaceful would definitely stay again - Hot tub Nothing
- Joan (9/5): We had a short stay, know the area well, and all was good overall. - There was a drain type smell, which seemed to be everywhere in the vicinity of the bungalow, but this was presumably because treatment works next door to site, and weather had been hot and dry for several weeks.
- andrew (7/5): Entertainment was fantastic - The hot tub No outside furniture which considering it was a lovely weekend where the wise there was no team chairs just half a sofa
- Laura (10/5): Brilliant family stay - Property was great! Ideal space for my family (two adults & 3 older teenage daughters. Nothing
- Errol (5/5): -
- Gemma (4/5): The location was perfect. The property needs updating - I’m the location was good I had to clean all the dishes when we arrived as they were really dirty. The fridge was dirty and had hair in. The decking and furniture were dirty and had leaves all over it. The beds are very uncomfortable. Very small gap between bunk beds so suitable for any older than a toddler
- Yacob (10/5): The decision park - It’s nice and clean property 👌 Everything is good
- jane (10/5): -
- Eugene (5/5): Not so sunnyvale - Location was good close to Saundersfoot.
Hot Tub was a nice Idea The chalet was tired and not very superior as named.
There is a lack of maintenance to keep the properties fresh, clean, and tidy. Blinds on windows are broken, no locks on rooms or bathrooms, no cleaning equipment like mops, etc.
The outside is messy with spiders 🕸 🕷 webs and things. The roofs of the buildings need serious cleaning. Quite poor, really, and top.dollar price.
- TIM (6/5): - Shower was good. Jacuzzi was a bonus. Bed & pillows very uncomfortable.
Blinds in bedroom didn't give very good privacy. Needs curtains.
Needs table n chairs on decking.
Probably wouldn't stay again.
- Neil (8/5): -
- phillip (8/5): - The bungalow was lovely apart from the blinds in the double room which didn't offer full privacy.
Other than that it has all you need.
Spacious living area, decent kitchen space and 2 very good bedrooms, 1 double and another with bunk beds and a single. Hot tub was a bonus. The walk up to the caravan park with young children for safety reasons but you can avoid it by staying at Sunnyvale and not Valley Grove or Sunnyglen.
We've been coming here over the years, firstly with our children over 20 years ago, even a few times as adults with my parents in tow years later and now with our 7 and 2 year old grandkids.
Bus outside to Tenby and Saundersfoot.
- vici (8/5): Really enjoyed our stay, staff helpful, room had all we needed and hot tub was amazing! - We stayed In a bungalow with a hot tub which was fantastic. There was plenty of room in the accommodation and it was lovely and peaceful mostly situated just a few minutes away from the main site. The pool was great although got busy very quickly in late morning. The staff were really friendly and helpful to. We didn’t use the clubhouse but it looked good when we walked past it The accommodation isn’t 5 star luxury and could do with a little lick of paint etc but it’s very comfortable and a bargain for what we paid so really can’t complain have had far worse accommodation at other campsites.
Downside is there were a few people by us with dogs who seemed to go out for an evening and leave the dog in the room so a few hours of constant barking did follow. Luckily our doggy neighbour was only there for 1 night that overlapped with our stay.
- Ben (7/5): Basic - The hot tub was an excellent addition. Very basic. Small beds.
- Sean (7/5): Good - There are so many positives its hard to write them all the location the price the accommodation in general was fantastic it wasnt a 5 star holiday park as its described as you dont get a 5 star rating when you dont have enough staff to be able to provide a life guard at their indoor pool go down the road to kiln park and theres 4 lifeguards on duty at all times Leaky sink tap in kitchen,
Master bed matress is dead nd feels like your laying on bare boards
No curtains in bedroom and blinds were missing slats so 5am sun shine would wake us both up not great when your on holidays and want a lay
- Sandra (4/5): Disappointing - The blind in the main bedroom was broken. Tlno hot water at times. Jacuzzi not clean
- Joanne (5/5): Passable -
- Charlotte (8/5): Very good -
- Suzette (4/5): Don't believe the website! - The jacuzzi was the best part No towels, extremely dangerously slippery deck to the jacuzzi, not enough ligh to see, main room facing front had broken blinds so anyone could see in! Stove was a joke! Lettering had been scrubbed off so couldn't tell which plate we had on and half didn't work! The pots and pans were dirty
- Astrid (10/5): Exceptional -
- Phil (3/5): Poor -
- Helen (8/5): Very good - The location was perfect. Having to pay for wifi in this day and age. They are missing a trick as we all had unlimited data with our phones.
- Nicola (9/5): Superb -
- Lynn (8/5): Very good -
- Kath (7/5): Good - Nice big hot tub with privacy. Very quiet. Friendly staff. Near to Saudersfoot and Tenby. Nice little onsite pub bingo and entertainment. Pool available butdidnt use it. Pub entertainment and food not open until 5. We were in dog fruendly bungalow, outdoorcushions were torn. No mop or bucket available
- Nicola (9/5): A great place to stay, would definitely recommend and would go again. - Lovely spacious bungalow with all you could need for a holiday. Well equipped kitchen, could do with a 4 slice toaster rather than just a 2 slice, when there's a few of you, but that's just being picky. Really peaceful location and just a short drive to the beach and other attractions.
Clubhouse entertainment was very good and varied. There was no lamp/ night-light in the twin room, we had an 8 year old that needs a light on to go to sleep. It could also do with some kind of drying rack outside to put wet swimwear and towels.
- Michael (7/5): Good -
- Sergo (10/5): Exceptional - Everything! Everything was good.
- Christogonus (7/5): Good - Enjoyed my stay
- Kyle (8/5): Very good -
- Gladwyn (6/5): Hot tub was perfect, location ideal for a family. Staff very friendly. - Location with the use of the swimming pool and games room The hot tub wasn’t heating, the lounge heating didn’t work and it wasn’t a good week weather wise so felt cold. We were moved on voicing our concerns to reception very quickly.
- Catherine (10/5): Exceptional - Before we arrived we were expecting a very basic chalet, with just the standard amenities. When we arrived we were completely mind blown by the sheer size and beauty of it. The chalet itself was huge, not at all like we were expecting, and it was beautifully decorated. I certainly didn't expect a private garden with conservatory. We were all so thrilled and excited, and absolutely devastated we didn't book a longer stay. Will definitely be booking a chalet here again. Also, the staff that we encountered were so friendly and helpful.
- Thomas (10/5): Exceptional - Very spacious and well equipped bungalow. Excellent 😀
- Ksenia (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was amazing! Nice and clean bungalow, hot tub was great, pool just enough for kids!
We are already planning to come back
- Janet (10/5): Exceptional - Beds made up, washing up pack
- John (4/5): Disappointing - Jacuzzi Broken window handle, No cleaning done, toilet roll not provided after getting over, broken blinds.
- Rhys (10/5): Exceptional -
- Adam (9/5): We had a lovely time - Great for families with kids. Value for money Swimming pool not very usable water was way to cold.
- Andrew (7/5): Great few days - Hot tub Little small
- Laina (10/5): Exceptional - Everything, staff where great, lovely location, fantastic bungalow and so clean Liked everything
- Rhiannon (10/5): Absolutely amazing kids loved it 10 out of 10 - Everything! Nothing
- Georgia (10/5): Really enjoyed and the hot tub is always a bonus - Plenty of room and includes everything you need for your stay, very clean and hot tub was clean and very big
- Maddisom (8/5): Very good - Was good place to stay for new years with friends Unfortunately we we’re only allowed to check in at 4:30 and had to check out at 9:30 am which was unfortunate and after tying to check out there was no one at reception and the phone number displayed didn’t work so we struggled checking out for 30 mims
- Michelle (10/5): Exceptional - Instructions about collecting keys from Sunnyvale holiday park could have been clearer in the confirmation email.
- Sian (10/5): Perfect getaway - It was just perfect, lovely quiet location, few minutes walk to the site pool and bar.
The hot tub was great and the beds were so comfortable. The bar/ restaurant could have opened for lunch maybe.
- Jakub (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stephen (3/5): Poor -
- Lau (7/5): Good - The location was great for exploring Wales, hot hub was bonus and kids loved it . Accommodation was comfy and clean. We didn't use the entertainment or restaurants so can't comment Some parts of the bungalow needs updating but nothing major
- Byron (7/5): Good -
- Rebecca (9/5): Superb -
- Anonymous (7/5): Good -
- Amanda (10/5): Exceptional -
- Murray (8/5): Very good -
- Elaine (8/5): Very good - Lovely spacious bungalow in a super quiet location. So relaxing and the hot tub was fantastic
- Moleena (10/5): Exceptional - Clean, spacious, and close vicinity to attractions.
- Faye (2/5): Avoid ☹️ - The entertainment was a positive, but the older gentleman killed the nights he sang. The young guy had a great voice.
The lady who was covering on reception was lovely and also worked in the bar area in the evening.A very hard-working lady 👏. We had booked a bungalow with a hot tub.On arrival the lady at reception was absolutely lovely. However the bungalow we booked did not meet our expectations. It is extremely outdated, dark and not what we expected. We had two teenagers with us and they were more than disappointed, bless them..I felt awful as it was myself that booked our break. The hot tub was dirty, with sand and bits floating in it.There was also a dead slug in the bottom.Cleaned before arrival?? I think not!! The lovely lady on reception found us an alternative, which was a caravan. This was OK,much better than the bungalow, even though it smelt awful inside. It smelt of cigarettes, the reason for this was the curtains and nets. They smelt awful,so though out our stay to make the best of it we had the door and windows open as much as possible. We wouldn't stay again as this was definitely the worse booking I have ever made 😔. Living in the 70's is not what we expected 🤦♀️.I can't think for the life of me why anyone would want to stay in the accommodation.
- Susan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Catherine (9/5): Excellent value for money. Would stay there again! - The hot tub was a big hit with the family, chill time after the days out. Entertainment program was very good. Handy cleaning pack with washing up (I forgot mine). Bathroom window had something growing inside the double glazing but I understand that can’t be helped and shower door felt like it was going to fall off.
- Anonymous (7/5): Good - Everything was provided ie cooking utensils, iron etc
- Gareth (10/5): Exceptional -
- Teleri (8/5): Very good - Staff friendly. Pool and bar were great. Didn't get a chance to see entertainment. Close to Saundersfoot via car. Musty smell at property. Property needed a better clean. Hair at bathrooms, sticky patches at kitchen.
- Shaha (10/5): Exceptional - Hot Tub was amazing.
Very quiet place.
Entertainment in the club house was good..
Will definitely come back. Reasonable compact size bedrooms Bed mattress in the single bed and bunk bed was not comfortable.
Double bed had a good mattress.
- Sara (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michelle (9/5): Superb -
- Natalie (6/5): Great - The bungalow was in a great location, the actual park itself I would recommend to anyone the facilities were brilliant.my little one had am amazing time Nothing it was a pleasant stay overall
- Ionut (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lisa (6/5): Sunnyvale - Valley Grove - Nice quiet, accommodation was clean, updated, basic. Ours had a hot tub which was great. Had an enclosed pool with was great. Entertainment was what was expected on a UK caravan park. Staff pleasant and helpful. Location good altho would need a car or public transport which there is bus stops right outside site as roads are country lanes with no pavements and get busy. Too far to walk into town for most people. Accommodation suitable for small family.
The main caravan park was located a 2-5 min walk up the road which is uphill not suitable for people with less mobility issues. The main entertainment area needs an uplift carpets worn and dirty kids area especially. A path from each campsite area grove and Glen to main site would be nice however I can see that would be difficult to achieve.
In accommodation the curtains were difficult to close and in main bedroom curtains would have been better than blinds that didn't work properly a small sharp knife in kitchen and a pair of scissors would have been handy.
- Desai (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dafydd (9/5): Superb -
- Rachel (8/5): Great location -
- Mermaidreams (10/5): Amazing bungalow, lovely holiday park we had so much fun, great entertainment too, highly recommend; - The bungalow was amazing, it was very clean and spacious, we didn't want to leave, it exceeded our expectations, can't wait to stay here again :) Great location to, close to Saundersfoot and tenby beaches, the clubhouse offered amazing entertainment we really enjoyed our stay. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Would definitely stay here again ;) Wouldn't change a thing, everything was perfect!!!
- Kelly (6/5): Pleasant -
- Dana (9/5): Great stay, well equipped, clean - We had a great stay at Valley Grove. I was a bit nervous after reading the reviews, but it was actually great. The bungalow we stayed in was clean and well equipped. It wasn't a 5 star stay but it was just what we needed. We had some issues with WiFi (needs to be paid for separately) but it was sorted on our second day. The entertainment was nice, bar staff very friendly and helpful, the food is not amazing, but you won't starve. Great stay altogether I wish there was a bit more information provided before our arrival regarding checking in. I did receive an email from them, but came with a delay, on the day we left.
- Amanda (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sheila (8/5): Good short stay for children because of pool and spacious quiet property. - several bungalows set in a cul de sac away from main static caravan site. Three bedroomed bungalow very spacious. Swimming pool great. Facilities and entertainment available but we didn’t use.
- S.j.25 (9/5): Superb - Perfect for a last min break to celebrate my birthday
- Lyndsey (6/5): disappointed - it had all the basics it wasn’t clean. the blinds and curtains were broken in the bedroom.
- Horbury (9/5): Superb -
- Barry (7/5): Good -
- Dawn (5/5): Saundersfoot great chalet not - Didn't have breakfast didn't like location to far from main caravan park nowhere out side for grandson to oplay. Dark chalet. No where for grandson to play floors very dirty
- Joanna (5/5): Passable - Dirty and grubby rooms, beds unmade on arrival - single ripped sheet for.the double bed
Dirty toilet
Blind in the kitchen was filthy dirty
Spent as little.time as possible in the accommodation
Hot tub was only saving grace!!!
- Ganriela (3/5): Poor - The landscape The food at the club was expensive and horrible, the fridge handle was broken, the mattresses and pillows were uncomfortable, hair under the sheets
- Rebecca (10/5): Brilliant - Pool could be open later
- Donna (8/5): Very good -
- Anonymous (7/5): we loved the area the accommodation was comfortable just the one occasion of drunk and fighting other guests stopped it - clean, well equipped comfortable The drunk couple fighting at 3am in the bungalow opposite
