- Nirmal (8/5): Very good - Stayed 4 nights for a holiday with my family of six. Highly affordable rate for a 5 star hotel like Hyatt. . We found the location perfect with one large supermarket within 400m distance and another very huge one within 10 min drive. So many food courts and good restaurants around. Most of the front desk staff spoke very good english and readily helped to get a taxi for us. Nothing significant to mention.

The staff was kind and accomodating, location of the hotel was also very convenient and close to a big mall. Not much, we had a great stay.

Bathroom was spacious and had nice amenities. Breakfast buffet had many choices, both Asian and Western. Many restaurants available in the immediate area. Short distance from airport.

Discovered an open window which could only be closed by a maintenance person with a ladder. Small black flying bugs in the room presumably came in through the open window. They did bring a space heater promptly. Checkout staff were pleasant but authoritatively directed me to the wrong airport terminal.

- MRC (10/5): - This was my first trip to China and had a wonderful experience in Chengdu. The hotel is located about 15-20 minutes from downtown and the airport. There are restaurants and cafe in the nearby pebble walk which is picturesque and spotless. The hotel staff were professional and friendly. The morning break fast was fresh and the variety was good (try the morning ginger tea). The city of Chengdu was gorgeous and when I returned to the hotel in the late evening, I felt absolutely at home. I would highly recommend this hotel for any business traveler who needs peace and quiet after a hard days work. There is a nice gym available if you need to get in some cardio during your stay.
