- Taylor (8/5): - Nice place to stay in La Fortuna. The staff were friendly and the grounds were nice. The included breakfast was awesome and there is a great view of the river from the breakfast area. The beds had memory foam mattresses and the WiFi and AC worked well on the rooms, the private patio was also really nice. The cabins are next to the road and you can hear some road noise.

- Andrew (8/5): - Staff was very nice and helpful. However we were given no notice of check in time and caught workers as we were leaving. Had we been 5 minutes later, we would be 3 hours from the city with now where to stay. Worse the number (WhatsApp) we had with our reservation took 2 days for a response. It worked out , but was almost really bad Otherwise room was fine, breakfast was made to order and it was an authentic stay on the jungle.

I liked having breakfast while overlooking the river and I especially loved the Bungalows in the midst of the Cacoa field. This gave a sense of peace and of being in touch with nature. We also had the opportunity to do the Cacoa and Coffeee tour which was fun and informative. I would definitely recommend a stay at Eden organic farms and Bungalow .

They provided us with dinner on our patio the evening we arrived. Breakfast was great, try the cold chocolate milk, so good. We did the chocolate tour as well. Highly recommend

Os funcionários também foram muito atenciosos, quando chegamos tinha suco, café e água no quarto. O café da manhã é delicioso. Mesmo tendo ido em um dia que só choveu, o hotel foi ótimo para descansar e aproveitar o clima da floresta tropical.

- Julia (8/5): - Die Unterkunft an sich ist toll, direkt in der Kakaoplantage gelegen. Auch die Schokoladentour war super interessant und lehrreich. Einziges Manko: die Bungalows liegen nahe an der Straße und dort brettern die lauten LKWs vorbei. Ansonsten wäre es klasse gewesen, aber so kann man dort leider nur ruhig mit Ohrstöpseln schlafen. Das Personal ist super freundlich.

- Philip (8/5): Nice Stay - Overall we enjoyed our stay. The grounds for the bungalows is beautiful, there's no doubt about it. We had an issue with taking a warm shower and the bungalows are close to the road so you'll hear some road noise, but if you're looking for a place to enjoy some natural beauty away from downtown La Fortuna, its good for that. Breakfast at the cafe was good as well.

- Marina (10/5): - I don't even know where to begin! The room was amazing, clean, and organized. The AC was working properly and the cabin was nice and cool. The shower and spa outside was an awesome experience. There was water, fresh pineapple juice, and chocolate in the mini-fridge. We arrived after dark and Josue offered to take us to the cabin as it was very dark at night. He ensured the outside lights were on every day we were there. He recommended and facilitated all our excursions. So we didn't have to worry about booking them. All we had to do was tell him what we wanted to do for the 3 days we were there. It was my birthday and my girlfriend asked where we could buy a cake. Josue told us not to worry about it and asked what I would like. On the day of my birthday, he and his family surprised me with a delicious homemade cake made by his mother and sang me Happy Birthday! It was moving and even made me cry! The whole experience was unforgettable! Definitely a must! The bungalows are located in a chocolate and coffee farm and the tour was very educational and delicious, I would also recommend it. Josue and family, thank you for everything, we will definitely be coming back!

Quite a thing for us desert dwellers. Our room was beautiful and comfortable. The villa we rented had a private deck, hot tub and open shower. The breakfasts were amazing. Highly recommend!

The breakfast was delicious in a perfect setting. They also offer chocolate tours although we did not have the chance to take the tour. You can walk in the river. The grounds are lovely.

Very welcoming staff that are genuinely interested in your experience. If you plan to stay overnight in one of the spacious, clean bungalows, you should know that since the property is situated next to a main thoroughfare it can be noisy with truck traffic until about 7pm but afterwards I had a restful sleep. Waking up inside of a rain forest was invigorating. I highly recommend making Eden one of your stops. It was a joyous experience. Pura vida at its best!

- Carolyn (8/5): - The location of the property is gorgeous. The cabins are rustic but the owners have equipped them well. The breakfasts are basic but delicious. We had an issue with the air conditioner breaking and dripping, but the staff were attentive and got a technician in the following day (even though it was Christmas Day). They moved us to another cabin for the night while waiting for the repair. As a family run rather than big corporate business, you get what you get. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay thanks to the kind team.

The house is functional but the surrounding is extremely pleasant with lots of animals to see (two sloths, a small crocodile in the pond below the the restaurant and many colibris). Breakfast was delicious. In general a way better option than to stay in La Fortuna (if you have a car). Upfront communication and Checkin without any problems, very nice people, good cacao products to buy and a nice cacao tour directly at the farm.

- Frederic (10/5): Cosy Cacao Cabin - The owners and the staff were very friendly, incredibly nice and our stay was so much nicer because of it. Thank you for the good food, cosy cabin and the very instructive Cacao tour. The resident sloth was also a cute little highlight for our girls.

You are overlooking the river and forests including the Cacao Plantation. During our breakfast we even saw one sloth on the farm. The Cacao Tour was also the best one we did in Costa Rica ever! Net, a must for all in Costa Rica … great food including chocolate, coffee, and fresh fruits … but the best if that you are treated and feel "like family". THNAKS!!!! If their were 12 STARS, they would deserve them!!!

- Mira (8/5): - Le site est très bien aménagé pour les familles, endroit pour faire un feu, endroit pour laver notre linge à la main et l’étendre à l’extérieur, tables pour manger à l’extérieur. Végétation à couper le souffle. Cuisine dans la chambre adéquate mais manque un micro onde. Les installations sont neuves ainsi que les maisonnettes alors rien à redire. Nous avons fait l’activité du chocolat et nous avons bien aimé . Déjeuner très bon et personnel réceptif à nos suggestions. 2 points négatifs: la route n’est pas très loin, donc on entends beaucoup les camions qui ralentissent dans la courbe. Le wifi dans la chambre est mauvais, nous cherchions à modifier certaines choses de notre itinéraire et ce fut impossible. Mis à part cela, pour le prix je suggère fortement cet endroit. La fille de El Tanque se trouve très proche et vous pouvez y manger ou faire votre épicerie à cet endroit.

Kitchen with mini fridge, stove top, sink, dishes, pans and all utensils needed. Also a fire pit and out door kitchem. Short drive from arenal but also have a tour company that will assist with all transportation for activities - favorite place i stayed across costa rica and would stay again and again.

Even brought darker curtains as we mentioned the outside light was bright at night They were responsive to suggestions we made for the residence as it is brand new. Discount on cacao tour which was excellent. Birdwatching area where we saw toucans, sloth in the tree.. the tour and shop is about 100metres up the road Self sufficient kitchen It felt very private. We had breakfast in the garden each morning and were able to see the tip of arenal through the trees on the clear day. Towels were brand new, fluffy and smelled delicious. AC We were very happy and enjoyed the peace and off the beaten path yet immaculate room with kitchen Cons 10-15 from la fortuna so must have car or no good if you wish to be centrally located..we liked it. The drive wasn’t that out of the way. No breakfast, coffee and tea is provided in room for prep, but kitchen and fridge available with coffee machine and hot plates etc Close to a highway frequented by large trucks. Bring earplugs if you sleep light. Quieted later in night but really didn’t find it too disturbing
