• Anita Lucille (7/5): First time in London; great nights' sleep; close to public transport, the Heath, shops. Perfect. - For London prices and conditions, this was a good apartment. The street and neighbourhood were quiet. I can imagine that if more guests are occupying the other apartments, the walls may not keep their noise out. I was perhaps lucky to have quiet neighbours or there were no other guests.

• William (10/5): Perfect :) - I always stay here when I’m in London because the service is outstanding. The room is always exceptionally clean, and very spacious, as is the bathroom. The hosts are always incredibly friendly and happy to accommodate my requests. It is truly always an absolute delight to stay here and I always have an enjoyable and relaxing weekend everytime. I can’t recommend it enough :)

• Jitta (7/5): Goed, we komen graag terug - De ligging was voor ons de voornaamste reden om hiervoor te kiezen. Appartement was goed, basic maar netjes en goed onderhouden. De inrichting was kaal, wel functioneel. Iets gezelligs toevoegen zou prettig zijn.

• Anne Marie (10/5): Fabulous stay at Belsize Apartments - We had a large spacious room with kitchenette facilities and a modern bathroom. The apartment was very clean and well serviced. Towels were changed every couple of days and bins emptied daily. Staff were friendly and responsive to any requests made. The apartments are in an excellent location. Close to tube stations with a short distance to the centre of London. There are many cafes and restaurants in the area. Walking distance to Primrose Hill and Hampstead Heath Nothing to dislike

Very spacious Would have liked a few little extras for the money paid, teabags or coffee as other apartments we have stayed in had these. Saves you having to purchase just for 1 night. Same in the bathroom shower gel etc

• Karin (9/5): Ruhiges Quartier in nobler Gegend - Belsize ist eine noble Gegend und die Apartments / Zimmer befinden sich mitten drin. Wir hatten ein relativ großes Apartment mit kleiner Küche (extra Raum). Alles war sehr sauber und hat funktioniert. Die Gegend ist sehr ruhig. Belsize Village ist eine Art Ortszentrum, ca. 5 Minuten zu Fuß, mit vielen kleinen Läden und Restaurants. U-Bahn Swiss Cottage ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Es gibt auch Busse, aber wegen Bauarbeiten wussten wir nicht genau, wie ihre Route verläuft. Zu Fuß nach Camden Market sind es ca. 20 - 25 Minuten. Die Kommunikation mit dem Besitzer vor unserer Anreise war sehr gut und zuvorkommend. Internetverbindung war eher langsam.

• Miriam (8/5): Comfortable, clean and the staff pleasant and helpful. - Brilliant location. Apartments are self-catering so no breakfast provided. Although (as with most budget accommodation) rooms are not necessarily cleaned every day, in practice the room was attended to most days and kept clean. I wasn't wanting a posh hotel, so it met my needs perfectly.
• Yishay (10/5): great value for money, clean,friendly and very well maintained.. definitely will stay again - for us the location was perfect, just few minutes from belsize park tube or swiss cottage tube station. the flat was spotless clean and very well maintained, it's a bit outdated but we like it like that. the staff was very professional and friendly, cleaning the flat every day and helping with anything we needed. the kitchen have everything you need and more so it was very handy..

Tv was difficult to watch whilst in bed without cricking your neck Curtains were hard to draw Window bolt was very high up and could only just reach it. Would have liked sachets of tea and coffee and milk
• Peter (8/5): Clean and quiet, though rather bare - Clean, spacious room with a kitchenette and private bathroom. Quiet area and reasonably priced There's a kitchenette, but no tea bags, coffee, oil, salt, etc, so it's essentially useless unless you're staying for weeks and are prepared to buy all that. We borrowed an iron but they had no ironing board. The lighting is all nasty old fluorescent tube lighting, including the reading light by the bed

• Sean (6/5): Bad value for very basic facilities - Bed and sheets were clean and comfortable At a total cost of ~£180 a night for very basic - if clean and comfortable - facilities, represents poor value. The bedroom door lock was pretty flimsy and no safe in the room. The only toiletries were 2 cheap bars of soap

• Laura (8/5): The perfect location for a solo travel for few days within 10 minsites walk from tube station and shopping facilities. - It is located in a very quiet and beautiful residential area. The room was small and the kitchen was extremely small. Complementary tea, coffee, sugar and salt were not offered.

• Elliot (7/5): Good - Location was fantastic, hard to gauge value for money because it was new years but they were one of the cheapest properties available and still felt premium Better control over the heating, as well as no hair dryer provided. One big issue I had was that the add listed parking but when we arrived we found out we had to pay £40 a day for parking. I don’t feel it’s fair to advertise parking when you have to pay for it, this should be clearer in the add as it’s a key reason why we booked.

• Ralls (8/5): Very good - Nice area, well lit, felt safe. Plain but comfortable and functional. Bedding and mattress seemed good quality. I was sad that despite reasonable 'kitchen' area and equipment there wasn't a teabag or coffee sachet, just a basic level would make a big difference. Also needed a shelf in the shower.

• Elena (7/5): Very basic room in Belsize village, clean and warm but nothing extra. - Location is good for our type of visit to relatives. Is about 13minutes walk from tube. The room was warm and bedding very clean. This is a very basic room, no hairdryer, no tea, coffee or milk sachets or biscuits, tiny tv screen for the size of the room, no BBC channels available.There is a kettle but nothing else so you would have to think of bringing that. If you arrive at night is not an option. Also all you get is an small short towel and a little soap bar, no shampoo or more likeable shower gel. It is ok if all you need is a bed and shower and you aren’t other about anything else.

• Noreen (5/5): Passable - Location good and property was very clean. Bathroom very very small and no where to hang towel. Bed had a winter duvet which was far too warm for the weather. No bedside light so had to get out of bed to turn on/ off light.

• Aplin (10/5): 10/10 amazing little find in the middle of London. - I was so surprised at this property, it was so good value for money. I have book marked it so I can stay there again. The staff were so nice and even helped me as I had booked for 2 people instead of 3. It was a lovely little studio apartment even with a little back outside space. It was very clean and the beds/bedding were SO comfortable. Its within walking distance of the tube, shops and everything you would need.
• Laczkovich (9/5): In my next visit in London I will choose the Belsize Park Apartments again. - I liked almost everything.The location is best possible. Apparentlly, the apartment was newly renovated, everything was clean, everything worked. Some basic things were missing. Darkening the room was impossible, a roller blind would really help. There was no soap holder in the shower, so it was a challenge to take a shower. Two smaller things: a second towel hanger in the bathroom would also help. It was a pleasant surprise that there was room service, as in a hotel. However, if there is room service, then a sign "Please do not disturb" would be helpful. I attribute all of this to the state of being newly renovated, so probably they would be provided soon.
• Elena (8/5): Adequate accommodation in the city centre for short stays. It is basic, yet clean and comfortable. - Location in quiet neighbourhood and 10 minutes walk to underground. Nice comfortable bed and clean. No one shop close enough, it is very residential, as there was no coffee/ tea in the room I couldn’t just pop out for one.

We'll come back for sure! - We had a wonderful stay at Belsize Apartments which was really close to public transport (Belsize Park/Swiss Cottage/Finchley Road), a good selection of restaurants on busy roads nearby and a very green but also calm residential area. Check in and check out was very easy and convenient. The apartment we've stayed at was spacious and extraordinarily clean! There was also a small, but fully equipped kitchen which we would have loved to use if only we had been staying longer. Despite our room being on the ground floor, it was very quiet at night and we had a good night rest in really comfy beds and the beddings smelled very food and freshly washed. There is nothing negative I can think of. Top tier Apartment close to Belsize Park/Swiss Cottage/Finchley Road. We'd love to come back here again
• Joris (5/5): Given London’s insane prices not a bad deal so long as you don’t plan to spend time in the room. So pray for good weathe - It’s a beautiful building in a beautiful neighbourhood near gorgeous Hampstead Heath This was truly Spartan. There’s almost nothing. Not on the walls, or in the kitchen or the bathroom. Also, the sheets are very sweaty.

• James (6/5): Barebones room with deficient fittings - Nice building in a quiet, pretty neighborhood Host was helpful with parking and driving advice Bed was comfortable My top floor room had a dealbreaker flaw: absolutely no plugs within even remote reach of the bed. Only a couple plugs in a nook far across the room under the computer monitor. None in the bathroom either. Because I use a breathing machine I was forced to rearrange all the furniture in the room and drag the mattress onto the floor just so I could use my breathing machine while sleeping. Kind of stunning- I have traveled to 50+ countries worldwide including Romania, Bosnia, Namibia, China, Russia, Albania, Guatemala, Brazil, etc. and never have I been unable to plug in anything for use while in bed. Surprised this is even allowed. An extension cord would fix this. I was so surprised I took photos. As lots of others have noted, rooms are pretty barebones. No coffee or tea provided; curtains too thin to stop the sun from waking you at 5:30 am, etc. Disappointed.

• David (8/5): Great location; exceptional and accommodating staff. - Staff was excellent, immediately accessible, welcoming, and accommodating (we asked to leave luggage after check out for half a day, and staff immediately said, "No problem." When we came to retrieve the luggage, we tried to tip the staff, who refused the tip and said "Happy to assist you." Mattress was a bit saggy. We would have appreciated a few more towels as part of the initial room setup.

• Kate (7/5): Lovely and quiet but disappointed that the facilities listed were not entirely accurate. - It’s super clean and the location is great. The receptionist was very welcoming. The bed is comfy and the shower is good. The listing said there’s an oven in the apartment, so we bought chilled pizzas on our way there to have for our evening meal. There’s no oven, just a microwave, so we had to throw the uncooked pizzas away and go out to find something else to eat.
