• Petra (10/5): Pokud se někdy vrátíme na Skiathos,tak se ubytujeme jedině tady. - Na naši dovolenou jsme si vybrali,tento krásný apartmán a neudělali jsme chybu.Nejen,že jsme měli apartmán se skvělým výhledem,ale apartmán měl snad Vše co jsme potřebovali.Apartmán byl denně uklízen a za to děkujeme paní domácí,že odváděla každodenní úklid a výměnu ložního prádla a ručníků.Také jsme dostali výborný koláč na kterém jsme si pochutnali.Byl famozní❤️Parkování bylo soukromé přímo před domem.Děkujeme za Vše,díky Vaši pohostinosti a přístupu k hostům jsme se cítili jako doma.Přeji Vám jen ty nejlepší hosty❤️Petra,Tomáš a malý Tomáš. Nenašli jsme nic co by se nám nelíbilo,snad jen to,že jsme museli odjet.
• Ramona (10/5): Über den Dächern von Skiathos - Die Unterkunft hat eine sehr gute Lage. Super Aussicht auf die Bucht. Positiv: Einen Parkplatz vor der Tür. Es wurden jeden Tag die Handtücher gewechselt und auch jeden Tag sauber gemacht. Für die Waschmaschine lagen Tabs bereit, sodass man auch die Wäsche waschen konnte. Möglichkeit zum trocknen der Wäsche gab es auch. Am letzten Tag gab es sogar noch selbst gebacken Kuchen. Recht herzlichen Dank nochmal. Wir können die Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen. Einziges Beim Duschen überschwemmt man immer das Bad, auch wenn man sehr vorsichtig ist

• Karin (8/5): - Die Lage war top - fussläufig in die Stadt, diverse Supermärkte etc. Parkplatz vor der Tür. Super nette Vermieter. Bequemes Bett, schöne Terasse. Das Bad war sehr sehr klein. Duschen war schon eine kleine Herausforderung. Die Einrichtung ist auch etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber sauber.

• COJOCARU GABRIEL (10/5): Un sejur minunat la MarGio Apartments Skiathos. - Ne-a placut totul. Gazda Maria cu famila sunt niște oameni minunați plini de dragoste, ne-au făcut surprize permanent: mancare si prajituri, apa plata in camera, curățenie in fiecare zi, lenjerie, prosoape schimbate. Unde am stat noi la ultimul etaj, am avut o priveliste superba asupra orașului si a marii. Au parcare privata in fata casei. Se ajunge foarte repede in centru si la plaja orașului. Apartamentul unde am stat este superb având 2 balcoane in sufragerie și dormitor. Bucătăria excelent dotata. Multumim gazdelor pentru sejurul minunat din aceasta locatie de excepție. Totul a fost perfect!

• Londoner (8/5): Spacious, clean and modern apartment with lovely hosts - The apartment was on the top floor and had two balconies - the main balcony looked towards the harbour. There was a table and chairs on the main balcony. The bedroom balcony had two armchairs, so you could move the furniture to make a comfortable situation, which was great. There was also a clothes drying rack and washing machine. The kitchen had everything you need: coffee machine, full size fridge, cooker etc. Plenty of cups, plates and glasses. The bedroom had a double bed, plenty of wardrobe space and was very comfortable. However, really it needed a pedestal fan as it got very warm in here - no air con or ceiling fan. The main living area had a single bed, plus large sofa which could sleep another person. It was spacious and comfortable. Although there was air con, all the windows and doors had to be kept closed to use this, which was not very enjoyable. A fan, in addition, would have been better. The bathroom had a good shower and storage. The apartment was cleaned everyday (as expected at this price) with fresh towels and sheets. The hosts were always friendly, polite and answered all questions promptly, dealing with issues very quickly. They also made us some delicious cake a homemade liqueur, which was lovely. It was ten minutes walk to a lovely beach and ten minutes to the main shopping and restaurants. Good location if you want to be close to the action. As we were here in July, I really think a fan was necessary. I asked for one but there was none available. The top apartment is up a lot of stairs, also at the top of a steep hill. Of course this is not the hosts' fault, but worth bearing in mind if you don't drive or have limited health of physical ability. There was a dangerous road that had to be crossed to get down to the centre of town, which really needed a pedestrian crossing or traffic calming measures. Considering how much money tourists bring to the area - but also as it is a residential area - the municipality should really look into this. It also makes the location a bit of a challenge, particularly if you have children or find it difficult crossing roads with a blind bend and fast traffic. Again, not the hosts' fault, but worth bearing in mind.

• Kina (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent apartment. It is situated on the top on Skiathos. You can enjoy the view until you drinking your coffee or wine 🤗 The main street is only on 2 minutes by walk, near by is the bus station and market. This apartment is perfect if you want to stay in Skiathos without to rent a car. The hosts are very polite.
• Paul (8/5): A very comfortable stay with fantastic hosts! - The property is set in a residential area just outside the main centre of Skiathos Town providing easy access by foot. We were in the ground floor apartment which in addition to having a spacious lounge, kitchen and bedroom, also has a lovely outdoor terrace. There is also free private parking right in front of the property, a rarity in Skiathos Town. However, the lovely family welcome and service provided by Maria, Anastasia & Christos is what makes this accommodation special and we wouldn't hesitate to stay at Margio Apartments again! As reported by other visitors, compared to the rest of our apartment, the bathroom was a little small. However, there is an excellant shower curtain which ensures that the water stays in the shower and doesn't drench the bathroom, but access to the toilet wouldn't suit larger visitors. However, as stated above, this would not put us off staying at Margio again.
• Lorraine (8/5): This is a very friendly, family run business that does everything to make you feel welcome. - Maria was an excellent host who did a wonderful job of daily cleaning. She also provided us with home baked cake on our departure. Maria is a real asset to the business. The photos on the booking site showed a lovely view of the harbour. We had a ground floor apartment with no view and didn’t realise that you needed to request a balcony on booking. However, I believe that even the ones with balconies, don’t have a harbour view.

• Becca (9/5): Lovely apartment, Great location - A fabulous apartment only a 5 minute walk from the centre of Skiathos main town. It was very well equipped and had everything we needed for a 3-night stay. The bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable and the apartment was serviced daily (bins emptied, room cleaned and fresh clean towels every day) which was a lovely surprise. The host was fantastic - speaks excellent English and was really helpful. A great stay and comes highly recommended. The bathroom is quite compact and shower is very small. The opening to the shower faces the toilet and you have to squeeze around to get into the shower cubical. Not ideal if you are a bigger person. We had to remove the toilet roll so that we didn’t soak it whilst showering!
• Colin (10/5): Perfect accomodation for you family of 3. - The location was great, situated up a short steep hill at the end of the main street in town. Took about 10 minutes to walk to the port. Accomodation was clean, comfortable and was perfect for us as a young family of 3 (Dad, Mum and 2 year old) The owners of the apartment were very accommodating, very welcoming and helpful family (I think). We would definitely stay here again.

A few minutes walk to the port and the narrow streets of the center. Private parking at the location. The host is very friendly and nice,helped us to arrive easily, they cleaned daily the apartment and helped with informations. The lady owner is very nice, she brought us home made sweets, hot, right from the oven and she is always smiling. You will feel as home, the surroundings are great and quiet, you can also enjoy stay in balcony with a view to the city and sea. Thanks!
• Andreea_loredana_cristea (7/5): Decent stay - The host waited for us and came very fast to give us the apartment keys and when I asked about some touristic information they were willing to talk. The host gave us some nice cake in the second day. The cleaning was done every day. We used the washing machine and we had some capsules to wash from the host. The flat is very close to the beach and to the main street which goes to the port. The house looks very beautiful from outside. I waited to check my reservation details about the see view and mountain view, etc and in my reservation confirmation is still written we have see view, garden view and mountain view. And I had none of these, considering the sea view was the main reason I choose this apartment, Also, we wanted to drink coffee in the morning and saw the flat has coffee machine and unfortunately this was very dirty (I saw 2 pieces of hair in the water recipient and could not use) so we did Turkish coffee. Also one night was a bit cold and needed a pillow and didn't find any. One evening the music from one of the houses was very loud and even after 00:00 AM they didn't stop it but this is not the host fault.

• Emiliya (2/5): Disappointed - when I booked I booked an apartment with a sea view. when we were accommodated we were given a suite with a wall view. when I told the staff about their mistake they told me that I should write to them in advance that I want an apartment with a sea view, even though I reserve and pay for an apartment with a sea view. after three days we were moved to another apartment where the bathroom was super narrow, uncomfortable and unusable. the only reason I booked there was the view and parking, but there was no view. the apartments are nothing special and not particularly clean. quite disappointed for the price we paid and the quality. don't be fooled by the pretty pictures.

• Rosa (10/5): One of the best! - Wow, tastefully decorated and exceptionally clean apartment, had all the amenities and they were all working, very comfortable place for 3 people. Location was perfect, just out of the busy parts but close to bus stops, supermarkets and cafes and only minutes walk to the centre. Our hosts Maria and her daughter were delightful and very helpful, our host also supplied us with fresh towels and tidied the apartment everyday and to top it off delivered freshly baked cake on two occasions, you can't get better than that!
• Evangelia (10/5): Lovely apartment in the heart of Skiathos Town. - Margio apartments is located just 5 to 7 mins walk from the main street of Skiathos Town and the port where all the tourist shops and restaurants /cafes are. The owners and staff are very kind and went beyond and above to help us with our needs. George the father of the owner picked was kind enough to pick us up from the port and give us some information about the island. Owner was always responsive to any questions we had. Apartment is modern and spotless clean. We received daily housekeeping service and daily change of towels and sheets. Neighborhood is very quiet and the washing machine in the apartment was a bonus. We stayed at the top floor apartment that you need to access via around 20 stair steps but the view was absolutely rewarding. We totally recommend. Not a big deal, just a recommendation to add coffee sachets or capsules in the room. There was coffee kettle and espresso machine but no coffee was provided.
• Charlotte (10/5): Great first night in greece - A beautiful veranda under bougainvillea to relax in the shade while acclimatising to the heat on the first day. A great one night stop over with good air con and comfy beds. A little difficult to find but that was due to our phone service not being effective.
• Darren (10/5): A perfect place to set off from to explore beautiful Skiathos - We were made to feel welcome from the minute we arrived at the apartments. The rooms were spotlessly cleaned everyday. The hosts brought us Cake one evening when we were sat in our garden area and gave us a bottle of gin! Both lovely gestures. We cannot recommend this apartment more highly, the location is a five minute walk from the Town centre, sat on a bit of a hill, which is totally manageable for most people. There is a lovely butchers shop nearby which is cheaper than most of the other supermarkets around and a stunning bakery/ coffee shop called Dafni’s two minutes down the road. Nothing.
• Terezija (10/5): the best vacation on the Greek island - Apartment No. 3 on the ground floor has no view, but it is on the ground floor in the shade, and we only turned on the air conditioner a couple of times. The kitchen is well equipped with a toaster, a machine for hot sandwiches, and for coffee: a mocapot and an espresso machine. There is also a washing machine. An extremely helpful and friendly family, the apartment was cleaned every day, beds were made like in a hotel, and towels were changed every day. Private parking right in front of the house. The location is good, one short but steep street to the main road that leads to the beach, and very close to the pedestrian zone, We are very satisfied and highly recommend The bathroom is extremely small, typical for Greece. The table and chairs are located on the terrace, it is not possible to dine in the apartment, which suited us to have breakfast bathed in the morning sun.

• Len (8/5): Overall, we had a lovely time at the property. Thank you very much. - We liked the fact that the apartment was well-equipped with toiletries and bottled water. The balcony provided excellent views of the ocean and mountains. The linens of the apartment were perfect. The towels were clean and crisp. For some reason our first night wasn’t in the room we booked and paid for. The shower did not include a glass door making it difficult to avoid water flooding the rest of the bathroom. However, there were two drains which made it manageable.
• Annabel (10/5): Excellent accommodation, highly recommend. - The owners were so friendly and available to answer any questions; they came and cleaned every day and the apartment was perfectly kept. Very good location with local supermarkets and the excellent bus service, also the main town was just a short walk away. The accommodation was kept so clean and had everything we needed. The shower needed a hook to hold it, so you could have your hands free for washing.

Comfortable bed, washing machine and spacious. Bathroom is very small and the toilet hard to reach/use. AC in the bedroom was very old and is not really functional.

• Tsveta (8/5): Nice stay close to the city center of Skiathos town - The hosts were very kind and helpful. They welcomed us on arrival and brought us freshly baked muffins from the oven. We had a car and there was a free parking right in front of the door. The apartment was nearby the city center and main walking street making it easy to walk around but also to park and to access the other part of the island by car exiting the city very quickly. It was very good for sleeping - calm, dark, with comfortable, although quite small double bed. The AC was not in the bedroom but in the living room so we were able to sleep well with the AC on and the door open all night. We did not like the bathroom and kitchen - it was not clean and bathroom definitely needs renovation. Also, we didn't like the overall cleanness of the place - there was a big black hair in the fridge, dishes were dirty etc. The hygiene needs improvement.

It's a maximum of 10 minutes to the main street. We were even able to spontaneously stay an extra day. We had a wonderful stay and would come back again! We have nothing to complain about
• Stephen (10/5): This was our first visit to Skiathos, it was amazing. Definitely going back - The apartment was just lovely. Exceptionally clean. Maria cleaned the apartment everyday, with fresh towels, which was great. The location was great too. Only a 5 min walk and we were amongst all the bars, restaurants and shops. There wasn’t anything not to like. A pool would have been the cherry on the top

• Danny (9/5): Amazing stay, great room and view, highly recommend - We had an amazing stay at MarGio Apartments in apartment 1 (top floor) which had a great view of town from the balcony. Daily cleaning a nice touch. Great aircon, fully equipped kitchen and big bed. Staff were superb and very helpful during a freak storm that cut power and water from the whole island for a period. Nice short walk to the Main Street with lots of cats on the way. Close to bus stop 4 to easily get around the island Would recommend! Bathroom is very small which at 6”4 was tricky to manoeuvre but gets the job done. Shower good. Plenty of pillows offered with varying softness but couldn’t quite get one that suited.

My car we were able to access all the beautiful beaches within 16-20 min! Clean rooms, comfortable space and lovely hosts! Maria made us feel at home and was available for questions or assistance. We would 100% be visiting MarGio again!! The property is located on a steep hill and may be challenging for some.

• Eleftheria (9/5): Superb - We specifically asked for a ground floor apartment which was very comfortable exceptionally clean and had everything we needed to make our stay great in Skiathos. the apartment was cleaned every day and the towels also changed every day hot water was available 24 hours a day..
• Derek (9/5): Not for everyone - Apartment was very clean. The owners evidently take time to make it so. Bed was exceptionally comfortable. We had a late flight and they allowed us a free late check out which was very much appreciated. The bathroom really is a struggle with too much crammed into a very small space. To sit squarely on the loo requires you to wedge yourself between the shower and the hand basin with your legs under the basin and hands resting on the top. The shower is poorly designed and very small. I cannot imagine a big person taking a comfortable shower.. I feel the owners are less than up front about what is exactly on offer. There are 4 apartments , but they are different and not individually advertised. It's not possible to determine which room you are renting. My expectation was very different from the reality. The advertised view is not as we found it ( photo attached). The climb upstairs to the top floor apartment ( with view ) is not for the faint hearted. 34 very steep steps to climb. If you are retired, my advice is to consider seriously. . We enjoyed our stay however in retrospect I doubt whether had I known the above if I would have booked. The owners are very nice people but my reviews as always are for the benefit of future travelers.

Although the establishment was actually closed for the season and our booking went through by mistake, the caretaker made sure we were comfortable. Easy and quick walk to town. The Greek are masters in building small bathrooms! It is very tight. The apartment has got a darkish colour scheme, not my taste. Be prepared to walk up a short steep hill and then climb a lot of stairs to the top floor with the view. No parking provided, but there was space close by (could be a real problem in season).
• Gillian (10/5): Excellent find, beautiful apartment - The apartment was excellent, it had everything we needed and the view from the apartment was great.The apartments were spotless and cleaned everyday. Maria couldn't do enough to make us welcome and responded so quickly if we had any queries. The apartments are in a great location, not far from Magali Ammos beach and at the top of Papadamantis Street, we will return. There wasn't anything we didn't like about the property.

• Joanna (9/5): Excellent from start to finish. Would definitely stay there again, even the walk up the hill wouldn’t put us off. - Great location. only a few minutes walk from the town and the port but far enough out not to hear late night noise The bathroom was quite compact
• Mihai (7/5): Skiathos nice island, MarGio close to city center BUT not so nice - view of city, cleaning FOR ACCESS the property , you hrave to "climb" with luggages at least 2 steap slopes from the city and also stairs FOTO_4 for rooms 1 and 2. NO CAR ACCES - street so narrow and a lot of motorcycle are parking, you have to carry the luggages on the steap slopes and stairs NO PARKING, the host doesn;t care !!! a total refuse to find a spot or speak with neighborhoods. IT IS an empy parking for 5-6 cars but belong to a firm, and it was empty for every night In the FOTO : BAD GREEK HOSPITALITY - BUTCHER;S SHOP after one night parking the car , they argue with me and block the parking put the van on 3 spots, FOTO_1_2_3 - TOURIST BRING MONEY TO GREECE !!!!! they did not understand that The host doesn care = HE have tot change description for property = NO PARKING , NO CAR ACCESS
• Alessandro (7/5): i had a good feeling - house has a small terrance , host clean the apartment every day, house is 5 minutes by walk from the center, and house is confortable. Bathroom is not too big, but kitchen is full equipped.
