Guest Reviews
- Kathryn (4/5): Sweet cottage but disappointing lack of care - Sweet cottage, great kitchen and well equipped. Internet was so poor it was unusable, therefore I was unable to work. My guests cut their trip short after one night because the beds in the twin room are horrendously uncomfortable- at a sloping angle and with exposed springs. The little garden is sweet but unusable due to the traffic noise, which is very unfortunate. You wouldn’t want to stay there if it was warm as you wouldn’t be unable to open the windows at all due to the noise. The tv was very small and very old and didn’t work properly, which was also pretty disappointing for quiet evenings.
I requested a partial refund due to having to cancel all my work because the internet was so terrible and because people couldn’t stay because the twin room beds were so uncomfortable and they completely refused. There was absolutely no contact from Henry Adam’s, the letting agent, in answer to any of my queries, they were useless. It is a nice cottage but so very let down by poor management and owners lack of care. They provided us with a single bin bag, a single washing machine table, a single toilet roll and a few millilitres of washing up liquid and soap. No towel changes or bedding changes were provided, despite my communications requesting this as we were booked in there for a week and a half. Cheap owners. If they had at least offered a partial refund for the ridiculously poor internet causing me to have to cancel all my work and my partner to have to stay elsewhere, plus it being very uncomfortable sleeping for our guests, we might have recommended the place to others, if they had made the necessary improvements. As they don’t care two hoots, we won’t be, which is a real shame.
- Alison (8/5): - Beautiful traditional cottage, very well equipped, small courtyard garden for sitting out. 2 reserved parking spaces. Perfect location for visiting the beach, Chichester and harbours. Easy walk to marinas and cafes. Lovely pubs in the area. Unfortunately the cottage was on a busy main road down to the Witterings. We did manage to sit out, but it was quite noisy.
- Sulochana (7/5): That was great - Property was nice, clean, and cosy. Perfect, structure each an every facilities were there When we go there so many fallen dog fur noticed. Since those were allergy to my kid. I cleaned the lounge and kitchen floor.
Also during the night there were mice running on the kitchen and lounge floor. Kindly fix that issue before giving the place to some others. This is just a point to improve and not a complain.
- Alan (10/5): Exceptional -
