- Bridget (8/5): Comfortable room, good breakfast. Shame it’s right on a busy roundabout. - The room was clean and comfortable and appreciated all the breakfast things. It was right on a very busy roundabout which meant you couldn’t open the window. It would have been nice if they had provided some shower gel as they had provided everything else.

- Eva (9/5): Lovely hotel. - Friendly, professional, helpful staff. Small bed (we're tall).
- Philip (8/5): -
- Richard (8/5): Good overnight stay close to Norwich town centre - Good set up with the apartment type accommodation - comfortable clean and nice to have breakfast/kitchen facilities in the room A bit of traffic noise late at night but surprisingly none in the morning
- Katy (6/5): - It was nice to be in our own cabin, it was easy to come and go until late and the beds were very comfortable The pillows were not very supportive and when it said breakfast included we expected a cooked breakfast
- Heidi (8/5): -
- Anita (4/5): Nice venue disappointing sleeping arrangements would never of booked if we was aware ! - Clean Beds too small feet hung over end , room was cold no lock on bathroom door pedal missing off kitchen bin . No washing up liquid to wash pots. Had to use towel as blanket as so cold couldn’t turn over on bed or you’d roll out the bed onto floor or crash into desk. 2 of the 4 single beds was not fit for purpose and was trundle beds from under 2 suitable beds . Had we of known this we would never of booked the room 2 of the beds was only inches off the floor possibly ok for children but definitely not suitable for adults. Had it of been just for 2 people it would have been ok.
- Neil (10/5): Excellent short stay property for our needs - The location was perfect for our trip. The property was quiet with no disturbances from the main road or other residents.
There was an excellent check out time which gave plenty of time to relax on the morning.
The compact facilities were perfect for a short stay trip and the continental style breakfast was good value and appreciated.
Close to the river with good walks close to the entertainment and shopping centres. N/A
- Christine (10/5): We stayed overnight and were very pleased with the convenient location and comfort of this room. - Nice variety of breakfast food supplied in room. Very friendly and helpful staff.
- dwayne (10/5): Fantastic stay in fantastic accommodation - Room is lovely and large with the added bonus of a fridge microwave and sink.
The shower is great and heats up instantly.
I booked late but they still accommodated me and brought me a loaf of bread and milk which stopped me having to go out.
I will definitely stay again Thankyou Nothing

- lee (9/5): I’d stay here again yes, such friendly staff, love the idea and concept of taking breakfast when and how you like it. Fe - Location and ease of parking Road noise but gets quieter as night gets later
- James (10/5): Just ideal - The room was so comfortable with all facilities Nothing
- Dee (8/5): Comfortable good parking excellent location nice welcoming touches - Great staff help despite it being Christmas Better kitchen facilities but within expectations for price
- Hurst (10/5): -
- Julie (8/5): Nice comfortable room with a plentiful breakfast! - Very clean. Well equipped. Close to the city. The road noise!
- Catrina (8/5): Such a unique accommodation - Comfy. Bonus Tassimo Machine! - Room was unique, a little "house" not attached to the hotel. Nice little kitchen with a microwave and even a Tassimo machine. Parking outside the property and not attached to the pub so no pub related noise.
The uniqueness of the accommodation was fun. Was comfy and most was clean. Basic breakfast was left with fresh bread loaf from next door bakery. I would stay again as it was 5 mins from a nice Diner and 15 mins from centre Breakfast was a bit limited for me, I did expect a few more options (I actually expected a cooked breakfast but this was me not reading the listing correctly more then likely)
The room / hotel was on a very very busy roundabout. The doors and windows knocked out 80% of the noise. Some noise still came through but did not stop us sleeping
- jason (8/5): -
- KAREN (5/5): Disappointed - see detail above - Good value and location ideal for walking to Magistrates Court Booked as a single female with preference for food/bar onsite but not available on arrival. Everything closed Mon/Tues night, and kitchen closed permanently at present so only bar open Weds/Sun no food served.
Information should be updated as misleading when booking online
- Sharon (8/5): Very, comfortable and clean. - Extremely good value for money.Very clean, just what we needed for a relaxing nights stay, breakfast provided on the room....great.. The bathroom fan, carried on running for quite a time after switching the light off, but not a major issue.
- Iain (8/5): Good location and value for the time stayed - Close to city centre and close to rail station. Everything I needed was in the room. I would say the breakfast was a little overpriced but it was fine, i’d stay again.

- Dawn (10/5): Excellent highly recommend - We stayed in a lodge at the side of the hotel it was loverly. Very clean continental breakfast provided which was perfect. Own kitchen and shower and towels provided.
The hotel itself is excellent, loverly decor was fab. The staff were friendly and very helpful. There is a lovely beer garden at the rear which we enjoyed. Highly recommend will definitely stay here agin if visiting Norwich Everything
- Tony (7/5): Some good some bad - Location was good for Work. The shower was nice and powerful and the bed was comfortable. It could do with a paint around the window
Unfortunately the battery had gone on the remote so there was no TV could not contact anyone did try the phone but they were closed as I work. I didn’t get there till 8:45 and again staying here. The Wi-Fi didn’t work so maybe next time I stay, I will ask them to show me why it’s not working.
- Tony (8/5): The place was nice, but terrible Wi-Fi if you could call it Wi-Fi - Yes, the property were comfortable. The room was nice. It was clean unfortunately not very good Wi-Fi. The phone signal there wasn’t very good. They did have free Wi-Fi but that was just a waste of time. It was hopeless. If you need Wi-Fi I wouldn’t stay here.
- Lynne (10/5): Thoroughly enjoyed our stay - rooms immaculately clean and very comfortable - Rooms were lovely and clean and very comfortable, breakfast provided was good. Very good value for money, would definitely go back. Would've been better if our party of 8 ( 4 in each room) were next to each other instead of one room being across the road.
- Robinson (8/5): My Castle stay - Great location, fast booking in. Parking was great We liked everything
- shepherd (8/5): Stay in Norwich. - Very clean and well equipped. Could be warmer.
- Samantha (6/5): Used to be nice but now tired. - The location was good and there is off road parking. The property is connected to a pub so you can get a drink when they are open. Place is tired and in need of maintenance. Kitchenette bulbs needed replacing and toilet roll holder loose and very rusty radiator in the bathroom. Bathroom grout on the floor needed redoing. However, the real issue with this property is that they no longer take payment through Booking.com. They will not accept payment over the phone but require prepayment. They send you a link and you are supposed to click on the link and enter your financial details. Never heard of this company before and I certainly was not going to do that. They finally agreed, after much towing and frowing that I could pay on checkin. I shall not be staying here again.
- Michelle (9/5): Tidy and comfortable studio apartment - The place was secure and tidy. I really liked the self contained breakfast kitchen. We were there whilst the pub was closed so it was quiet too. The rooms could do with some hooks and maybe a shelf in the bathroom.
- Emma (10/5): -
- Ruth (7/5): -
- ellen (6/5): The castle - Location Cabin needs repairs.
Rusty stools
Dirty iron and iron board stained
Gruby silicone in shower
Towel rail loose.
Disopointed we have to ask for room service for bread an milk loo rolls dont like to miver for things
No change of bedding in 4 days
Cracked tiles
Microwave no instructions could not use it.
Cabin needs some love and attention
Bed uncomfortable not a king just two put together so not at same
Walls gruby.
No brush to sweep up
- Paul G Rich (10/5): -
- Lisa (10/5): - Extremely warm, helpful and welcoming staff. Staying for only one night! Will definitely be booking another (longer stay)
- Anthony (9/5): -
- OnOurTravels (8/5): - The self-contained unit was what we needed for the night. It was clean and enough space for both of us. There was a little kitchenette and an en suit.
- Adrian (9/5): Good option for a short stay in Norwich - Nice room with kitchen and great breakfast. Short walk in to town.
Very private and nice and quiet
- Callum (7/5): Very happy thank you - Very clean, good sized room with bathroom
Tv with good sized bed
Easy to access Slight lack of parking
Breakfast not best quality however pay for what you get
Slightly noise Road
- Heasley (8/5): Comfortable and cosy. - I liked the location and the bed was comfortable. Being able to make my own breakfast was nice. The room felt a bit cold at moments.
- Trevor MANNION (9/5): -
- Ian (7/5): - Short taxi ride to the city centre Left with a loaf of bread, butter, undated milk & carton of fruit juice, a diy breakfast
- Patricia (8/5): - Excellent location, comfy bed, perfectly adequate breakfast, very clean. Lovely hot shower. No shower gel or shampoo, only hand wash in the bathroom.
- Warren (6/5): - Breakfast was individual boxes of cereal or bread to toast in your room, not the full English I was hoping for
- Joanne (10/5): -
- Charlotte (9/5): Felt like royalty at the castle. - Really clean room. Excellent shower, was hot and powerful. Exceptionally comfy bed. Window faced right into the roundabout, wished there was a privacy screen for lower half of the window
- Kev (3/5): -
- matthew (10/5): - Really lovely stay here very clean all that we needed for an over night stay would definitely use again very happy with it
- Gordon (10/5): -
- Ian (6/5): -
- Lesley (10/5): Comfortable and well located accommodation - Good size accommodation with kitchenette. Good selection for breakfast. Very quiet and comfortable. Parking space. Walkable into city centre along the river and past the cathedral. Great place to stay
- Tracy (8/5): - Very clean. Not warm enough, felt damp.
- Lu (8/5): -
- Clive (8/5): Ok but expensive for what you got, - Better than appearance No food, plus music until two am, so a bit noisy in room..
- allison hemmaway (10/5): -
- gerardus (10/5): Excellent - Staff excellent, very helpfull, sociable, room was clean, and breakfast good,if you wanted more you could ask,and the will bring it to your room for the next day, coffee machine with coffe cups, tea bags, coffee sticks, orange Juice Milk, sereals.
Staff very friendly and helpfull, big thumbs up for Tom!!! He knows his job very well.
- ludmila (10/5): -
- Joanna (10/5): -
- Chris (4/5): Clean, tidy but disappointing - This is really a basic place that isn't really close to the city centre. It is clean and tidy, however don't raise your hopes on the breakfast.Ideal for tradesmen and business people wanting a place to sleep and shower, certainly wouldn't want to stay for anymore than a night or so.unfortunately it didn't meet the expectations for my partner and daughter. Not good breakfast bread, and cereal certainly isn't a continental breakfast.
Distance to the city centre
Sparse local shops etc
- Mcshefferty (10/5): We wouldnt stay anywhere else, it has everything we need - The staff are so very helpful, nothing was to much trouble and we felt very welcome and informed by staff, location perfect for us. nice little lodge feel with own facilities again perfect
- Elena (9/5): -
- Gideon (10/5): - Everything The microwave didn't work properly
- Joyce (9/5): Loved it, will rebook in future. - Excellent parking, although set on a busy roundabout access is from a side road which does not link to the roundabout. The room was very clean and well equipped and sound proof, having air-con so that in hot weather you would not hear the traffic. The individual front door meant you are not disturbed by others coming and going. No shower mat to prevent slips inside the shower.
- Artur (7/5): -
- ALLAN (10/5): Nice Castle Chalet - This is a lovely chalet at the back of the castle with a small courtyard. Nice spacious singular room with comfy bed and comfy pillows. The chalet was well presented and clean. No noise from the road nearby as the room is well insulated. I would stay here again. The location is within 5 minutes of Norwich railway station and various pubs and town centre. Nothing to report.
