Fahy Family (10/5): - Great design elements throughout with decor including local art. Our room on the 12th floor was super clean and comfortable with a view of Montreal. Electric car chargers on the entry plaza with a small secluded park with picnic tables beyond that. Was initially worried about the location at the edge of a mall next to the highway but it's a very unscaled mall with restaurants throughout so it's very walkable and pedestrian friendly. Road noise in the room was minimal.

I changed rooms because of it and it was still not working in the new room... we gave up because it was late. For a nice looking hotel like that, they should have smart tv. And not the first time that happens...

robindU5374EY (10/5): What can you DO! - I am giving this hotel an excellent rating because of where it is located..very convenient and walking distance to everything ,staff very warm helpful and professional always willing to help and make your stay a memorable one.....however having said that the cleanliness of some of the rooms are overlooked. this Hotel is new but very well used. It is sold out most of the time which means that getting a spotless room is hit and miss. Now lets face it ,I think we all go to hotels knowing this and that's probably why most of use bring disinfecting wipes for things that are not to our standards.....I DRAW THE LINE AT EXPECTING A CLEAN COMFORTABLE BED THAT IS CLEAN AND FREE FROM BLOOD NOSE PICKING RESIDUE FROM PREVIOUS GUEST AND PUBIC HAIRS AND NAILS ON FLOORS!!! I did take pictures and brought it to the front desk attention and they were prompt in giving us another room. The first room was on the 16th floor and the second room was on the 8th floor. The room on the 8th floor was better by far however STILL HAD BLOOD AND STAINS ON SHEETS AND PILLOW CASE. At this point I figured Its late I'm tired and I refuse to play musical chairs with rooms. By this point I did ask for an upgrade if possible and I would gladly pay. The staff told me they were sold out and it wasn't possible. I covered the one side of the bed with towels and slept on the other. The Fridge in the room was a mini fridge but did not work. They were prompt in delivering another fridge that was 2 sizes bigger and was placed in the small space between the bed and open closet which touched the bed and blocked the open closet space.....O and we were told that it freezes the food so not to put it on 3 on the dial 2 is best. (You have to bed the fridge forward as the dial is at the bottom back of the fridge. Well 2 did not work it froze the milk the yogurt the cream and the pizza. I had frozen yogurt and made the best of it. My son placed the dial on 1 after this in hopes the fridge would regulate. Not a chance It went warm and spoiled everything. We laughed away at it and thought WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO ??? Not much when you're in town for a funeral and everything in surrounding area is sold out. Have to look to the positive and say IT COULD ALWAYS BE WORST. Will I stay there again! What do you think....Its too bad because the staff is truly wonderfully.... Housekeeping needs allot of improving and maybe more staff to keep up with this booming hotel and perhaps bandaids and finger covers for tired dry ecxema hands that bleed when you tuck sheets in. Checking beds and making sure they are indeed clean of other peoples body fluids would be great too. There are still some people who make their beds before leaving leading you to believe it hasn't been slept in. The hotel did offer a 20 percent discount on our stay or complimentary breakfast buffets for the 2 night stay we had..... Guess what we took. We shouldn't have had to.

Found out that to use the elevator and turn the lights on in the room you need to scan your room card 😂 Definetly recommend and will go back ! Nothing, this hotel is perfect

islap92 (10/5): A True Gem! - Special Shoutouts: Firstly, Felica is fantastic. She truly made my and my friend's first experience at Escad unforgettable. She goes above and beyond to ensure comfort and contentment, as well as personalizing your experience. Prior to confirming my booking, I had spoken to Felicia on the phone regarding transportation. She was knowledgable about present changes to Montreal's transit and answered all my inquiries about transport to downtown and to Jean Drapeau Park. Marco was also wonderful! The team at Escad was very professional and warm. Overall, very lovely. Last July/August, I stayed at Escad for a music festival. Upon arrival, on the kitchenette counter was a setlist, a couple beverages, and cute decor awaiting us. It was such a pleasant surprise, and very considerate! On our way to the festival, Felicia provided us a mini music festival essentials pouch to make sure we were prepared for rain or shine! Service: Everything was handled with professionalism and efficiency. Room service was swift, house keeping was dependable, and staff was very accommodating. All room appliances and features were in proper operation and kept clean. Wifi was stable and the air conditioning was perfection. Room: The room was beyond our expectations! Spotless, full of natural light with floor-to-ceiling windows, nice arrangement of furniture, the kitchenette and mini fridge were a godsend, bathroom was extremely clean, TV was great at night, climate control was a breeze (pun intended). We shared a studio with a king bed, which was plenty of room for us. At the time of booking, double bed options were all booked; however, the king bed was HUGE, as in California king size huge. Needless to say, sharing a bed and maintaining plenty of personal space was not an issue. Super comfy, had the best sleep, and felt refreshed in the morning. Food: We had complimentary breakfast and can only speak to our dining experience in the morning. It was the best. Buffet style, but with class. The restaurant was very chic and was nicely decorated. The food was super fresh and tasty. Options included pancakes, scrambled eggs, hash browns, croissants and pastries, bacon, sausage, various fruit, bagels, yogurt, luxe salmon, and various condiments. Really, there is something for everyone. Location: Hands down best location on the South Shore, especially if you don't have a vehicle available to you. During our stay, the REM was temporary unavailable. However, shuttle buses made it so easy to get into town. It's a given, but DIX30 has everything. Such a lovely place to shop or browse day or night. Lot's of food options, as well. I had such a memorable experience, and the hotel is deserving of this review. Thank you for a blast!

Les robes de chambres pour enfants (des garçons heureux). pour le nombre de personne dans la chambre, le manque de verre (même si c’est en carton) ,de serviettes et débarbouillettes et des tasses trop petite pour un café régulier.
