- Sinéad (4/5): Unfortunately, I will not be returning - It was very close to the station. I was woken up most nights between 1.30-3.30am (unable to get back to sleep for pre 5am rise) with people slamming doors and having full conversations outside my door.
My first shower, the water was barely warm before I washed the shampoo out and that was the temperature for the rest of my stay.
I questioned the cleanliness of everything. The blind in the bathroom was thick with dust, as well as the headboard of the bed, the teaspoon that was supplied was so dirty there was no shine to it and the kettle was dirty inside.
This stay was for work, so all of this was not ideal and unfortunately I would not stay there again.
The staff seemed friendly over text and phone, I didn't get to meet anyone due to the early rise and late return with work.

- Phat (7/5): - Perfect location for a work trip, room was clean and basic needs Pretty sure the single bedrooms bed is not for a adult as height wise they're rather small.
- Alan (8/5): -
- Anna (9/5): - Clean basic just what you need for an affordable easy no nonsense stay. Comfortable bed. Clean bathroom. Water butt available which is useful. All you could wish for . Very easy/helpful check in/staff All good
- Steve (8/5): -
- William (5/5): - Location brilliant. Room comfortable. Shower sub standard. Just warm and no pressure. Typical Triton Electric Shower. Stayed for 3 nights but never saw a member of staff or other guest once.. Unusual for 13 room hotel.
- Michael (8/5): Great location close to amenities and transport - I have stayed here a few times and it’s always been good. Great location close to pubs and restaurants, some of which offer discounts to guests and also very close to the station. Staff are always helpful and the rooms are clean and quiet
- Gary (10/5): Great - Clean great area
Amazing hosts Nothing
- Marius (8/5): -
- Yvonne (9/5): Great place to stay - I love this little hotel, bed really comfortable, clean, cosy and a perfect location for me 😊
- Sandra (8/5): Comfortable bed, good bedding. Room warm, heater easy to work. Shower could have been warmer. Chocolates a nice touch. - Central and easy to get to. Good communication at all points. No BBC that I could find on the TV, although it didn’t particularly impact on my stay
- David (9/5): Execellent - Great location and ease of access Nothing
- Alastair (8/5): Friendly staff , discounts at cafe/ restaurant . Easy check in . Comfy bed - Convenience , clean , comfortable bed , Shower was a bit hit and miss .
- Melanie (10/5): -
- Munday (8/5): -
- Philip (8/5): - Location ideal as it is close to shops and restaurants, room was small but very comfortable and more than adequate for a business trip.
- Andrew (8/5): -
- Kevi (8/5): -
- bill (9/5): Very good - Receptionist was a male and very helpful.Thank you Difficult to see the entrance at night
- Angela (10/5): A truly lovely stay. Thank you Lucky and Nina. - Welcoming, comfortable and clean. Lovely welcome from Nina on arrival. Great location in the centre of Bexley Village. We found our room in the hotel which is an old building to be quiet and spacious and very clean. Super comfy King sized bed. The hotel is both old and modern. It suited us and we felt safe, secure and comfortable there. In the street where the hotel is based are a wonderful selection of non-chain restaurants, coffee shops, small eateries, a couple of pubs and a really nice fish and chip shop (established over 60yrs ago) where we ate in one evening along with the friendly locals.
- John (7/5): Comfortable no frills room very accommodating host - Good location easy transport links in the heart of bexley village. There is no option for breakfast in the hotel and if room is on the first floor and the stairs could be challenging.
- Shonibare (7/5): -
- Julie (3/5): - Great location Very dated
- Andra (9/5): Best night sleep - Even before I checked in, I’ve felt looked after. I requested to check in later as I was finishing work late. Lucky the host got in touch with me, sent me all the details on how to self check. Meanwhile they checked the shower and because it wasn’t working properly, they upgraded my room before I got there. The room was waiting for me all clean, radiator on and room warm. Very spacious, all working, plenty of tea, coffee, milk etc. It’s also got hair dryer which I used.
- Topsy (4/5): - The room was clean.
Staff were friendly and helpful. The entrance is grotty and it feels run down.
No staff on the premises overnight.
- Agnieszka (8/5): - Clean room , staff was very helpful, but was bit loud due to all the noise outside
- Deanna (5/5): Needs some TLC and better description as shabby - Great welcome and sorted us being able to park at the front as disabled so this was a win.
I thought I had read a lounge available there is not so checking where I read this to send on. However hubby took bags to the room and noticed a puddle of water on the floor by the toilet. Reception immediately checked it and said plumber had been out but obviously not sorted. He would lay down towels to keep floor dry. There was no other room to swap too and it was too late for me to check out other possible locations. We agreed to stay.
However within 20mins the towels were soaked and due to me being immune compromised I felt the need to wear my shoes all the time as not convinced it was tank water.
On return from our night out anything on the bathroom floor was soaked. We used the shower quickly but just wanted to get out as did not feel clean.
I felt the price for the room based on description and how it looked it all felt very tired and cleaning could be a tad better.
It’s a great location and staff were fab BUT I want a working bathroom at the end of the day it’s a key part of a hotel room. Bathroom
- Ilija (10/5): -
- Gerard (10/5): -
- Steven (10/5): - Friendly staff and Bexley village is a lovely area
- Michael (8/5): Clean and functional room in a good location - Property is well-located close to pubs and restaurants and convenient for the train station to get into London. The rooms are functional and clean and staff helpful. Property is showing signs of wear and tear and maybe needs a bit of an upgrade
- Michelina (10/5): - Davvero molto bella e spaziosa
Treno vicinissimo per raggiungere il centro
Quartiere molto tranquillo
- Andrew (7/5): Oversold in Booking.com. Would not rate this as an “8” - Location in the village close to the train station. Bed was too small, too low and too soft. Not good if you have any lower back issues. Also “hotel” is more like a hostel than a hotel. Nothing except bedrooms and no breakfast.
- vernon (10/5): - Hotel and location excellent
- Andrea (10/5): - Was a bit nervous when seeing the outside of the property but after found the door lol it opened to a lovely small reception area. We were met by the owners son who was friendly and happy to give information. Twin room was as above the expectation and the only issue was the bathroom door handle and as taped on but didn’t affect use just a detail thing really. I will defo stay again as son at BIRD college for next 2 years.
- Shane (7/5): Basic but sufficient for a night lay-over stay. - Convenient for a lay-over. Booked 2 rooms for travelling companions but one was up and one was downstairs.
- Sarah (10/5): -
- DEBBIE (8/5): Pleasant stay. Suited us to be local to train station and to our wedding venue. Was greeted by the manager who explained - Close to station. Easy check in. Room comfortable Nothing
- Simon (8/5): - A clean, quiet hotel in the heart of Bexley village. Lots of restaurant and pub options and close to the Southeast Rail station.
Shower pressure was very low.
The small sink was cute but made it impossible to wash one's face without getting water all over shoes and floor.
Cleaning fluids used in hallways smelled like uncured bathtub caulking -- somewhat nausea-inducing.
- Angel (8/5): - The hotel is pleasant. The rooms are clean and nice as are the bathrooms. It is only a couple of minutes walk from the train station (which takes you to London). There are cafes and bars on the same street and it is a pleasant area to walk around.
The hotel staff is only there for a short amount of time each day and there is no breakfast (though there are plenty of options for breakfast within a minute's walk of the hotel).
- Johann (7/5): -
- lynda (9/5): - Location and staff were amazing 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 Just tiny little things, for example, the rugs either need changing or just remove them
- Paul (10/5): -
- Brenda (4/5): - The room is clean and well set but suffers from one serious fault. You cannot open any windows.
There's no fresh air. Sadly I'm still awake at 1.30am.
- paul (10/5): - I recently stayed at this lovely hotel just five minutes from the train station, making it incredibly convenient for trips into London. Despite being so close to the city, the hotel is located in a peaceful village, which made it the perfect escape after a busy day.
There are two cozy cafés just across the road, ideal for breakfast or a quiet coffee in the morning. In the evenings, there’s surprisingly plenty of nightlife around—bars and pubs with a good vibe, but nothing too loud or disruptive.
The location strikes a great balance between city access and village charm. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a quiet base near London!
- Adele (10/5): Enjoyed time away - A nice place to get away for a bit. Was a bit disappointed that my room overlooked the scrapyard and so it was noisy at times but other than that, it was just what I needed for a couple of days. Staff were friendly and willing to help when needed.
- Joseph (6/5): It did the job. - The hotel was close to pubs and restaurants and discounts at many were available if you showed your hotel room key. Lucky, the owner, was helpful when he was there. The room was pretty basic and the rugs could have done with a good clean.
- Christopher (8/5): Comfortable stay in an ideal location. - The location was idea for my purpose. I was lucky to be given a parking space so grateful for that. Small narrow corridors but understand why they are that way.
- Caron (5/5): Value for - Location No smoking area or breakfast
Offered
- Michael (9/5): This was a return visit for me and I found the property to be clean, comfortable and although surrounded by pubs and res - Very good location right next to all amenities and close to train station Nothing - all good
- Terry (10/5): Solo Stay - It was great and couldn't fault anything.
- Jane (7/5): Good - I would suggest removing the garden from a list of facilities as it doesn't exist.
- Ivan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Phil (7/5): Fine for 2 nights but would wouldn’t want to stay for longer - Location excellent for train link to Central London & Bexley Village offers numerous bars & restaurants The decor & fixtures are looking tired and need a face lift
- Samantha (10/5): Exceptional - Great little hotel, staff were very helpful 👏
- Graeme (8/5): Very good - Fantastic helpful staff
- Gertrude (8/5): Very good -
- Michael (10/5): - Great location, clean room, comfortable bed and helpful staff.
- Shane (8/5): Perfect location for what we needed. 2nd time here. We will come back next year for sure - Great location on the high street, basic room but it’s an old building! Very clean, comfy beds etc. room only and all keys/cards etc were ready on arrival. Rooms were warm but it was a hot weekend, fans provided which were nice
- Joanne (6/5): Pleasant -
- John (4/5): - What attracted us to this Hotel was the location - right in the centre of Bexley Village, just right for us to attend a party at my brother’s place after driving down from Wiltshire.
As soon as we got there, we realised that we had made a mistake. The entrance door handle was hanging off, attached only with gaffer tap and it didn’t improve when we got inside. The rooms were located along a labyrinth of narrow, musty corridors on multiple levels, covered in cheap dirty carpet. The room itself was equipped with poor quality furniture and another gaffer taped door handle to the bathroom. The carpet around the beds was so dirty that we couldn’t take our shoes off. We debated leaving and trying to find somewhere else, but we were late for the party and we didn’t know where to look - so we stayed, but used our own pillows.
After the party, we arrived back by taxi to find that Saturday night in Bexley Village is like high season Ibiza. Literally hundreds of youngsters spilling out from at least 4 very noisy pubs! At least the room was at the back and surprisingly quiet, so we slept soundly. We left early in the morning after a shower - not too bad and nice clean towels.
- Michael (7/5): Run by lovely people in a great location to pubs, restaurants and public transport. - Accomodation is basically a bedroom with ensuite. Both clean and appeared newly renovated A fridge in the room would be a plus
- Kathleen (10/5): - 10 ⭐️ property - excellent room, comfy beds, easy check in and check out, next to practically the best restaurants in London (Italian, Thai, bars & pub food etc.) and at least 8 convenience stores within 1 minute walk. A cell phone store across the street so we could buy adaptors and cords. Plus bus stops and train station all within blocks of the hotel. We bought beer and ice and they provided a container we could use! Kindness and hospitality galore. We stayed 3 days and would definitely stay again!
- Richard (7/5): Good location in centre of town and helpful staff. - Location was very central to the town. Also, I didn't see a member of staff but I did speak to Lucky. He was very helpful and assisted me and responded to my messages. Many thanks. There was no onsite parking although, there was public parking close by. Also, no food onsite but there were breakfast cafes close by.
- Stephanie (8/5): - The hotel was central and clean but the pup across the road was very noisy.
- Angela (8/5): - A great location, good communication and comfortable stay. Its on the main road of a very busy high street so quite loud with the windows open but there was a fan in the room if it gets too hot. Money off certain local restaurants/cafes was a great extra and I was able to use it for dinner and breakfast
- Robert (8/5): Comfortable stay, although lack of parking was a down side. instructions to find carpark in a text? - Self check-in was easy, thanks to the text message received from the proprietor. The steps should perhaps be clearly marked, although the hallways were brightly lit.
- Rachel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jean (9/5): Good for one night. Maybe other rooms were better - The hotel was perfectly located for our visit. The room was clean with beautiful decor. Owner very nice. The bathroom was tiny. The toilet cistern flush top was missing with the tube exposed. The toilet roll holder was behind the door so the bathroom door opened on to it.
- Mark (8/5): Helpful manager very accommodating - In centre of town No restaurant or bar facilities but we knew that when we booked. There are great local restaurants for breakfast
- Leander (9/5): lovely stay , amazing Italian Deli next door for brekkie , clean and comfy beds, would stay again. - not much of a view but came outside and in the village perfect stay
- Robert (7/5): Very good stay - Location good in centre of Bexley Village. No Breakfast. Could have been a vending machine in hotel.
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Vicki (9/5): We live abroad and when we come to visit family in Bexley twice a year - we always stay here if poss - The High St location is so convenient for Abbey Wood railway station (2 minutes' walk) and buses into Central London. Plenty of lovely cafes, four pubs, coffee shops and corner stores for supplies. Bexley Town Centre is less than ten minutes by car. The owners are very helpful and communicative about check out, cleaning, check in etc. Free parking is a bit difficult - two spaces only for the whole hotel and can be tricky if the side lane is busy with people from the cafe next door. Paid parking is available two mins walk away. Rooms at the front of the building are a bit noisy with High Street traffic and the two pubs close by but nothing major to complain about. I wish it was big enough for a reception/lounge area to hang out in, but these old buildings are what they are.
- Kelly (7/5): Good - Overall it was ok. Good location, very polite and helpful staff. My main issue was the tea/coffee making facility. The table wasn't particularly clean looking and neither was the kettle. So much so, I didn't use it.
A full length mirror in the room would have been nice.
- Roy (8/5): We enjoyed the experience perfect location - Central heating and double glazing would have made it perfect. But still enjoyed the characteristics
- Egidijus (4/5): Poor poor - Location everything , very poor , this is the worst hotel I stayed , mould in the bathroom, so bad
- Emily (10/5): Lovely staff! - It was amazing! The staff was so accomadating a extremly nice. I only stayed for a night but I felt very welcome and in good hands.
- Caroline (8/5): Very good - Location was great. Room was a good size. Nowhere to put clothes or rest suitcase on apart from bed
- Pete (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tara (10/5): - Central and no walking distance to bars and pubs. Quiet and great if you are looking for somewhere to sleep without the big hotel energy, hussle and bustle.
- William (9/5): Superb -
- Jack (8/5): - Nice property with a lovely host. Very good on value but need to pay for parking
- Genny (8/5): Very good -
- Steph (10/5): Excellent service, a really lovely welcome and Lucky went above and beyond to make our stay a relaxing one. Highly recom - Everything ! Location, check in and check out process, amenities in the room. There wasn’t anything we didn’t like !
- Ahmad (8/5): Very good -
- Michael (10/5): - Booked here to visit our relatives. A short walk from Bexley station. There are many shops, cafes and restaurants on the high street. Staff is very helpful and commutative.
- Andrew (6/5): - No heating
- Yvonne (8/5): Would definitely stay again - Fantastic location, I had a single room at the side so it was quiet, bed was very comfortable, warm and clean. Reception was easy and friendly Nothing really but a few hooks/hangers would be good.
- Keith (10/5): Exceptional -
- Louise (10/5): / - / /
- Mugor (2/5): Too Poor for What was Promised! - The location was good. For what was described as a Deluxe room, this was a disgrace. The room was small, the bed narrow for 2 adults and there was nobody at the reception desk. We needed to call the customer service contact who was nowhere near the property...
How could they charge such amounts and describe what they can't offer??? 😥 😔 😟
Perhaps, there needs to be some vetting regarding these descriptions and spurious ratings.
