- Patrick (10/5): We've stayed in B&B's all over Europe and Tom & Jeanne are by far the most hospitable. - Great location close to tons of things to do. Jeanne's breakfasts are delicious and her piano playing during breakfast is a unique, lovely plus.
- Shari (10/5): First B&B not the last - Conveniently located. I enjoyed learning the history of the mansion. The breakfast was really good. I felt welcomed from the moment I arrived. I'll definitely be booking again.

- Gayla (10/5): We like ‘unique’ when traveling as it makes the memories richer. This is a great place to stay. - Old historic home with interesting owners. Great service and amazing breakfast!
- Patrick (10/5): - Wonderful hosts, treated us like family. Elaborate breakfast included with fun historic insights about the B&B and Indy. Loved being able to park my car right outside the B&B and forget about it for 36 hours and walk to everything we wanted to do and see in downtown Indy.
- Mark (8/5): Our stay at the Mansion made our visit to Indianapolis most enjoyable. - The owners were very welcoming, hospitable, knowledgeable about the city, and even provide a ride from the airport and to an event.
The house is indeed grand and a great location.
- Jen (10/5): Exceptional - Great hosts. Wonderful room with character in a home with an amazing history. The hosts will give you a wonderful recounting of the home's history over a delicious breakfast.
- Vivian (10/5): Lovely home and hosts! - The charming Victorian mansion was beautifully preserved and decorated, Tom and Jeanne were welcoming and terrific hosts, the bed was comfortable and the neighborhood was surprisingly quiet for being so close to everything. WiFi was fast and let me do videoconferences easily. Jeanne made an amazing, delicious breakfast and played the piano beautifully as we dined. Tom very kindly also picked me up from the airport and offered to drive me to my appointment at the hospital.
- Michael (8/5): Well worthit - Very friendly great breakfast and we could walk to stadium Street noise
- Thomas (10/5): Quirky, unique accommodation in downtown Indianapolis - Quirky, quaint and full of character. Excellent welcome from hosts. Spacious suite. Wonderful home cooked breakfast. There was nothing.
- Stephen (10/5): A beautiful old mansion in an historical location. While not inexpensive, it was worth it. - The location was perfect: not too difficult to find, only a block or two from Riley Museum and oldest German restaurant in Indianapolis. The house was a Victorian mansion with an intriguing story, beautifully restored, and modernized just enough for comfort. The breakfast was freshly prepared and more than adequate. Checkout was convenient. Hosts were friendly and knowledgable. There was very minor inconvenience with electrical outlet location.
- Paul (9/5): Great atmosphere and hosts - Great location, hosts were helpful and very informative on property history celebrated wife’s 65th birthday and they went ahead and bought a cake and roses for he and insisted on paying ❤️ Flooring in bathroom at the edges needs maintenance
- Ezra (10/5): Exceptional -
- Susie (10/5): Please try this B&B for a unique, interesting, well-situated, well-appointed & pampered experience. - Was in Indy for an event at Lucas Oil Stadium, and this B&B is only 1.1 miles away - easily walkable, though the owner Tom gladly offered to chauffeur us to and from. The B&B is also close to the many downtown Indy shops and restaurants in one direction and the eclectic Massachusetts Ave in the other direction. Tom, after asking permission, gave a fascinating historical tour of the B&B built in 1890. The decor is true to the 1890s vibe - I took many pictures. You are given an entire suite - large sitting room, bath (ours had the original pedestal tub) and bedroom! We didn't hear our neighbors or the owners though you can hear the downtown city noises of sirens, etc., during the night. Not to worry, earplugs are provided. We parked right in front of the B&B. Tim helped with our luggage, even storing a couple of coolers in the frig for me. The breakfast, prepared by Jeannie, co-owner and Tim's wife, was par none, served on English China! She tastefully serenaded us, playing their baby grand in the parlor next to the dining room. I asked her for a tour of her garden which she happily gave. Then she gave us home-baked cookies to go! I heartily recommend this B&B and its owners!!!!!
- Isabelle (10/5): I had the most fantastic time at the Mansion on the Mile with amazing hots and breakfast! - Fantastic breakfast! I loved everything

- Elizabeth (10/5): Tom and Jeanne were the perfect hosts and the B&B is a comfortable, elegant place to stay. - Everything about our stay was just lovely. Tom and Jeanne couldn't have been friendlier or more welcoming. They are an interesting couple who have traveled widely and have great stories to tell! Breakfast was delicious and Jeanne even played the piano while we ate! We loved the history of their place and the location is perfect, with an easy walk to so much of downtown Indy's restaurants, bars, and shopping. Honestly, I don't think anything could have been improved. Everything was outstanding.
- Sharp (10/5): Fun night in Indy - Location, decor, owners, breakfast
- Laura (10/5): Really enjoyable stay and not your typical hotel experience. Would stay again! - The owners are very sweet and really care that you enjoy your stay with them. - Scarlett (10/5): Tom & Jeanne make you feel right at home. - We enjoyed talking with Tom & Jeanne about the history of the house . We also enjoyed our breakfast Jeanne made for us each morning. Tom also offered to drive us downtown to the convention center . We took him up on that a couple of times and we walked some too. The day we were leaving they drove us to see some of the houses that the HGTV show Good Bones had remodeled . We enjoyed our stay.
- Zack (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jaylen (10/5): A very fun and intresting stay. - The history of the home is intresting, and so are the host as well. Amazing and very intresting people. They also serve amazing breakfast and play the piano for you while you eat. It definitely was an overall great experience. Nothing, it was all good.

- Leesa (10/5): Consider it an honor if you have the opportunity to stay at Mansion On The Hill! - The hosts Tom and Jean, were amazing, as was their historic home. We were treated to a personal tour of their home which is filled with character. Jean cooked beautiful breakfasts and we felt like royalty as she masterfully played her grand piano. The setting inside and out was perfect. That we couldn’t stay longer.
- Edward (10/5): Refreshing, very memorable, and will look forward to staying there again. - Unique, lots of character, history to boot, very comfortable, not run of the mill, and packed with charm. The host made us feel right at home, and had great knowledge of the history of the house, as well as the city of Indianapolis. Host
- David (10/5): Wonderful and within walking distance of downtown. - Enjoyed staying in a historical home and learning the history of it. Jeannie & Tom were wonderful hosts and made us feel so welcome. Had all amenities that we needed and a wonderful relaxing breakfast. Jeannie even played her baby grand piano while we ate. Would highly recommend. Home is not sound proof so heard traffic (sirens) but hosts do provide earplugs in the room if you need them.

- Jana (10/5): Tom and his wife were great hosts! The house was clean and they were super accommodating! Would definitely book again! - Very good location and clean!
- Daniels (10/5): Very nice getaway - The location was perfect. Very close to Gainbridge Fieldhouse and Massachusetts Avenue with lots of very nice restaurants. Just enough away from downtown to feel away from the hustle and bustle. The food was delicious and the hosts were very nice. I wish we could've stayed longer. There was nothing we didn't like.
- Amber (10/5): It's like stepping back in time. - This place was incredible! The well balanced breakfast from Jean was phenomenal, as well as her playing the piano while we ate. We were able to walk back from mile Square where Tom graciously dropped us off. If staying in a well preserve time capsule wasn't enough, the hosts really went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Very kind people with hearts of gold. Be good to them. Our only complaint was the bed. If you like a firm bed, you'll be comfortable. It's like a solid memory foam; the comforter was thin and very colorful.
- Troy (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing stay. The owners were great, loved having time to hear the history of the house and that of the owners. Would highly recommend to anyone considering
- Curvall (10/5): A not-so-hidden gem in a wonderful city - Great location, gracious hosts, historically accurate and charming rooms, breakfast was delicious (live piano!!!), the history of the property is fascinating…and a great value! Look forward to going back! We couldn’t stay longer:(
