• Marie (6/5): Vi havde et godt ophold, og vi synes kvarteret var helt fantastisk og personalet venlige og søde. - Vi kunne rigtig godt lide beliggenheden, men bagsiden af det er larmen fra den store vej. Sengen var rigtig behagelig, og værelse og badeværelse pænt og nydeligt indrettet. Personalet var rigtig søde, og der var god morgenmad. Bortset fra larmen fra gaden var det en stor gene, at der var en forfærdelig grim lugt fra badeværelset. Derudover faldt toiletbrættet hele tiden af. Vores TV fungerede overhoved ikke: vi klagede over det både dagen efter ankomsten og den følgende dag. Kokken kom op, for at forsøge at fikse det, men sagde at han ville hente en tekniker. Og så hørte vi ikke mere fra dem. Det er også uhensigtsmæssigt, at man selv skal ned, og hente Wi-Fi-koden nede i bageriet. De kunne bare lægge en seddel på værelset.

• Dafina (9/5): - I had a wonderful stay at Giselda Hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to help with anything we needed. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, which made our stay very relaxing. The location is also perfect—close to everything, yet quiet enough to enjoy a peaceful atmosphere. The breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options. Overall, I truly felt welcomed and taken care of during my stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily come back again! I didn’t like that the room was too small for five people. It felt very cramped and uncomfortable.
• fannie (7/5): - L’hôtel a un super emplacement très pratique, on peut tout faire à pied facilement. Après oui comme tous les commentaires quand on rentre dans la chambre ça sent les égouts mais après ça disparaît si on ouvre un peu. Le petit déjeuner le matin, c’est assez léger quand même.

Dodatkowym atutem i najlepszym dla mnie i mojego narzeczonego była możliwość zjedzenia śniadania w kawiarni/piekarni na dole- to jakie produkty tam Państwo serwują są warte polecenia. Przepyszne szynki, sery a także wypieki na słodko- chylimy czoła, czego nie spróbowaliśmy było wyborne! ❤️ Z czystym sumieniem mogę polecić, bo był to świetny pobyt i chyba jeden z naszych lepszych. Dziękujemy! Niektóre elementy pokoju są troszkę zaniedbane (opadająca tapeta w sypialni) oraz niektóre elementy nie są posprzątane w 100%- ale bądźmy ludźmi to nie są rzeczy, których nie da się znieść i nie zniszczyły nam w żaden sposób pobytu.

• Cristina (7/5): Tutto sommato positivo! - La posizione e la colazione. L’hotel è situato a Trastevere in una zona molto carina, vicino a tutti i confort e a due passi dal Circo Massimo (noi ci siamo sempre mossi a piedi da lì). Anche la colazione, al Forno Giselda sottostante, davvero buonissima! Io ho preso le uova strapazzate mentre mio marito sia un cornetto che un mini bombolone, entrambi accompagnati da spremuta e caffè americano. Tutto buonissimo e lo staff gentile Purtroppo di notte abbiamo fatto fatica a dormire perchè si sentivano un sacco di rumori, dai tram alla gente che passava e faceva casino. Inoltre, la stanza non era proprio super pulita (le tende erano sporche e in bagno appena entrati c’era cattivo odore) e si trovava al secondo piano senza ascensore, se avessimo avuto delle valigie sarebbe stato davvero scomodo.

• Liliane (7/5): A estadia foi boa com pontos importantes a melhorar - Gostei da localização, perto de tudo em trastevere. Facil condução para os locais turistico. Nesse ponto como o objetivo não é ficar no hotel Valeu bastente. A limpeza do quarto foi otima , a dormida em si (capotamos) e do sabor do café. Não funcionou o WIFI. Falamos com a "recepção" que fica na padaria e eles pediram para falar com a camareira que tinha algo informando, mas não tinha. Ficamos sem Wifi. O chuveiro toda hora ficava frio, foi muito ruim tomar banho, fora que agua nao era forte, então o banho que era para ser rapido demorou mais do que deveria. O Café da manhã apesar de gostoso é confuso. Eles realmente deveriam definir, e dar um papel aos hospedes com o que pode pedir e um bilhete algo assim que identificassem quem sao os hospedes na padaria. Eles ficam corridos na padaria, não dão muita atenção ao hospedes (entendivel o porquê) mas da forma que é, a impressão que passa é que temos que pedir um favor de lembrar que somos hospedes e eles definem na hora o que podemos comer. Fica confuso. Não me senti confortavel com isso. Mas tava tudo muito bom.

• Christos (10/5): Πολύ καλή, θα ξαναέρθουμε. - Το κατάλυμα είναι σε εξαιρετική τοποθεσία, κοντά σε όλα τα κυρίως αξιοθέατα της Ρώμης (μόνο λίγα λεπτά με τα μέσα) και δίπλα στη νυχτερινή ζωή του Trastevere. Το πρωινό μόνο 2 επιλογές αλλά πολύ νόστιμες και το προσωπικό εξυπηρετικότατο και χαμογελαστό. Είχαμε ένα μικρό θέμα με την καθαριότητα όταν ήρθαμε αλλά το προσωπικό το διόρθωσε αμέσως.

• Bianca (7/5): All in all, we had a wonderful time! - The location was wonderful - we really enjoyed the complimentary breakfast as well. The room was spacious and clean! There's whole wooden beam by the shower that dips dangerously when you step of it that is a hazard that needs to be fixed.

• Lauren (3/5): A lot of improvements required - Location in “cool” neighbourhood, included breakfast at the cafe downstairs. Mouldy shower, toilet lid was broken off it’s hinges, the window couldn’t be opened without the frame literally falling off the wall, my towel was stained with dirty patches, the shower’s water pressure was a literal dribble (no exaggeration), noisy air con. We were in “GIANICOLO” room. We switched hotels after one night.
• Natalia (1/5): ESTAFA - He pasado tres noches en este alojamiento, y me he sentido engaña con lo que he encontrado. Primero decir que la noche me costó 160e. Recoges las llaves en la panadería que tienen abajo del edificio, nos acompañó un chico hasta la habitación, era un portal sin ascensor y las paredes estaban sucias y la verdad q te quedas un poco como diciendo esto que es! Llegamos a la puerta y al abrir hay una salida pequeña con una mesa, y están las Tres habitaciones. En la habitación había bombillas fundidas, papel arrancado, madera levantada, las almohadas tenían manchas amarillas, q tuve que poner una toalla por q me daba asco, las ducha impresentable, no me pude bañar los tres días que estuve allí, estaba el micrófono del agua con moho negro, el agua salía chorro caliente, chorro fría. Las cortinas con manchurrones grandes. Estando el segundo día en el baño casi me da algo cuando veo como una lagartija en el suelo. El secador no funcionaba y salía como fuego por dentro. No tienes ni un teléfono ni una recepción por si te pasa algo. No quiero que a nadie le pase lo que me pasó a mí. La Verdad q una vergüenza.

• Peter (5/5): Convenient location, by no means this is a hotel. - Breakfast was fair. Eggs with bread, fresh squeezed orange juice, and a croissant plus coffee. Room was airy. No safe was available as mentioned in the description. They told me they removed it and didn’t offer one. Never changed sheets on bed for a 6 night stay. Mini fridge barely kept anything cold. Noisy location especially with trolley going by, but fortunately it doesn't run all night. Easily resolved with ear plugs. Very overpriced for what you get. But to be fair, I booked the last minute so to speak. Were insistent on paying the city tax in cash without giving me a receipt until I contacted a person via booking.com twice.

The poor flooring immediately outside the shower in the Tevere room. This is rather dangerous, and someone could easily put their foot through it. Looks like there has been a major problem here for a while. This needs fixing immediately as it isn't safe.

• sthefania (5/5): Estrutura e Higienização Precárias. - Só gostei da localização mesmo. Primeiramente preciso deixar claro que a única coisa boa é a localização. De resto, o local deixa muito a desejar. O box do banheiro nunca viu uma bucha e sabão. Tive uma sensação de que não era feita qualquer higienização no box, o registro do chuveiro e o box tinham aquela capa de gordura de banheiro que não é limpo. Mas pior que isso foi o piso de frente ao box, que estava fundo com a sensação de que ia ceder a QUALQUER momento, ou seja, impossível pisar ali e não ter medo de desabar. O ar condicionado além de pingar muito, fazia muito barulho. Sinceramente eu não acho que o preço dele compense isso. Já fiquei em trastevere antes, e tem lugar melhor pelo mesmo preço.

• Sean (4/5): Below expectation, shower was gross - Good location, good coffee shop down below Room was very run down. The floor boards were popping up below the ac unit, the shower had a bunch of mold on the walls, both shower heads were super crust, hair dryer didn’t work, wall paper is peeling off the wall. And, they turn off the ac the first day when they cleaned the room, then it broke so we didn’t have ac in our stuffy room in italy in july
• leo pet (10/5): muy buena opcion de alojamiento en linda zona. - no recordabamos que habia desayuno incluido.no se si lo decia... es en la cafeteria aledaña que lleva el mismo nombre del hostal. si bien sencilla, un cafe o lo q desees mas alguna croissant, estas eran excelentes, frescas sabrosas. tambien el jugo de naranja exprimido en el momento. lo valoro mucho. subir dos pisos por escalera con el equipaje... jaja pero es normal,esta todo muy bien!

Great place to stay for restaurants and bars. Nothing - it was perfect for what we wanted in Rome and the location is amazing for eating and drinking
• Michelle (8/5): Very good - Easy check in and great location for restaurants and bars in the evening. Clean and tidy. Room was a good size. We arrived late in the evening and the check in was relatively easy to do remotely. The floor by the shower was giving away and you felt like you'd fall through the floor if you stepped on it.

• Iulia (10/5): Central location and nice bed - Right in the center of Trastevere, all bars and restaurant are nearby. Breakfast is downstairs at the bar, stuff were friendly. Altough very noisy area, if you close the windows you can have a great sleep! The room was spacious, but a bit noisy when walking next to the bed, maybe they need to do some improvements. Also, the shower cabin can use an upgrade.
• Ceh17 (3/5): Very disappointed and tired - On first impression the Tresevre room looked great. Unusual but inventive use of space with the shower behind one side of the bed and the toilet and washbasin on the other side of the bed. The bed was comfy and remade by the staff every day. You are above the bakery Giselda Forno where you get your breakfast for free. There's also a discount if you buy anything else. It's an amazing bakery and the sandwiches are made to order and brilliant. The room was very tired and dangerous. The floor in front of the shower is bouncy and is about to give way. The shower hose leaks at the top and bottom so there's hardly any water pressure. Probably a good thing as the shower tray fills with water. Probably a contribution to why the floor is giving way in front of it. We had to stride out to one side to find the firm joist to get out of the shower safely. The air-conditioning was very noisy and temperamental and leaked. It says the room is soundproofed. Absolutely not!!! It maybe from the other rooms but it was soooo noisy we would put on the air-conditioning to cover the noise from outside. It is on the corner of the busy main road so there are buses, trams, cars and it is very noisy at all times. The building shook ever time a tram came through. They start at 6am through till midnight - every half hour or so all day. Every day!! We did 3 nights and were exhausted. The sockets by the bed were damaged so the usb sockets couldn't be used and the lamp of one side actually came off the wall so that couldn't be used either. There didn't seem to be any extractors for the shower or toilet. There was a fridge but no water or drinks, so not a mini bar. The door on the fridge didn't close so anything you do put in wasn't really cold. There was a kettle that did work but there was only 4 odd flavours tbags. Luckily I had my own and bought some milk. We were very disappointed and tired but we didn't bring it to the attention of the staff as we were too tired to make a fuss.
• Christopher (9/5): Spacious hotel in a great location - Wonderful hotel in Trastevere, large, spacious room with comfortable beds (children each had a small single). Breakfast was in the bakery below and was delicious! Staff were very helpful and friendly. Only downside was the noise from the tram at night if you are a light sleeper but this was fine once ear plugs were in place!

The surrounding area and small lanes were amazing and the food in the bakery downstairs was great. The bed was one of the most comfortable we have come across this trip As the apartment is directly above the bars and restaurants, there is quite a bit of noise, including trams and traffic sirens. There isn't much sound proofing and a few small things in the apartment were broken and didn't work although didn't affect our stay

Free breakfast down stairs in the cafe great coffee and orange juice, and their own bakery on site. Could pretty much have what you wanted savoury and sweet. Lots of locals go here. It is on the Main Street but honestly was very quiet in the room

• Alexander (5/5): Nicely designed but dirty - The location in Trastevere was lovely, walking distance from the main attractions in the centre. The room was aesthetically designed and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast in the cafe downstairs was nice, although wouldn't recommend the bacon and egg breakfast. The room was in partial disrepair. Floorboards outside the shower were rotten to a point where they were sinking in. But that's not the worst part. The shower had horrible residue and was in a dire need of proper scrub. The seals were beyond mouldy. It felt disrespectful as this is not an expensive thing to replace. Other places in the room were also not cleaned for a longer while. Doors to the toilet did not close, so we had to hold on to the handle while on the toilet. Not a pleasant experience. I tried contacting the owner during the stay to ask for the room to be cleaned, but I didn't get a response. I saw the owners' response to another review, where they blamed the horrible state of the shower on hard water in Rome and not enough time to clean the room as they are fully booked. I find it a bit disgraceful - how about you don't sell out every night and instead take the time to properly clean your rental? Or should the guest accept the dirt for your profit?

• Wendy (10/5): Friendly and helpful staff in a great location - This is a great location and wow - it’s above a bakery so in the morning, you can have whatever you want for the included breakfast. Including bacon and eggs! Room was quiet and close to everything and a pleasant walk into the Pantheon, Trevi, etc. but so much to see right in Trastevere too. We had a shower that overflowed but was fixed after we reported it. A little trouble also with the lock in one of the exterior doors but also not a huge issue.
• Tal (1/5): Disappointing - The room was very dirty, the toilet & bath were not properly maintained and were full of mold, rust, and dirt. The air conditioner was very noisy and kept going into standby and energy-saving mode, turning off approximately every 15-30 minutes, which forced us to wake up from the heat and lack of air dozens of times throughout the night. The room was also full of dust. Very disappointing! Sure! Here’s a polished version: "Maintenance and cleanliness are essential. In 2024, air conditioning systems in Europe should operate continuously without interruptions."!

• Dennis (8/5): move a bit away from the tourists and you’ll find some gems! - Extremely understanding and helpful during my flight cancellation and then delays. great communication. Excellent location if you like the action. Learn the bus routes if you don’t. No elevator. Fine for me, but maybe not for everyone.
• Brittney (5/5): All in all we loved Rome and the location of Giselda Home, however, facilities could have been better and didn’t feel th - Great location, close to tons of good restaurants, shopping and night life. Staff at Giselda Forno were super friendly. AC never worked. Asked the property and it was never fixed. Shower and sink didn’t drain properly, only the sink was fixed. Shower floor and walls around was decaying from water damage. Didn’t feel super clean.
• Kate (7/5): Good - Location. No clear check in instructions and that the B&B is next door to the cafe/ bakery to check in and have breakfast. Slow responses from the host.
• Nancy (10/5): We loved it!!! Great area for dinner and drinks after a day of exploring - Staff were friendly, cafe downstairs was excellent!! Loved the location, wonderful nightlife. We loved the area, but a little far from the main attractions, if that is what you are looking for. Shower does not drain well.
