janet (10/5): Lovely B & B you will not be disappointed. - We stayed for two nights in Fernilee a twin room and although a small room the quality of products linen etc was superb and it was spotlessly clean. The bathroom was lovely and roomy with the decor complimenting the rest of the house and a great walk in shower. Our welcome and throughout the stay was from Andie and Neil the hosts was friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We were greeted with a sit down , cup of tea/coffee and home made ginger cake, home made cake were available every day and home made shortbread biscuits in the room. Breakfast was excellent and cooked fresh. You were given so much I requested less for myself the next day and I’m not a small eater. The hosts were also informative on recommendations to eat and things to see in the town, which is lovely and about a 15 minute stroll which a lot of the time is through 2 beautiful parks. I highly recommend.

Mary (10/5): Simply the best. - Beautiful hotel, lovely couple running it. Immaculate, stylish, luxurious comfort. Hospitality cannot be rivalled. Breakfast was superb. Cakes and drinks to greet us on arrival, I love cake!! Blueberry muffins left for us upon our return from our hike! I confess, I ate both! Cannot praise it enough, was perfect for us, will be returning for sure.

Jesse (10/5): Fantastic hosts - Andie and Neil were wonderful host and made our stay relaxing and fun. They were very helpful getting us oriented around town and with suggestions of things to do, and very friendly and welcoming making us feel at home. The breakfast was delicious in the morning and the rooms were immaculate and luxurious. We would definitely stay here again.

And as for the property - WOW - so much attention to detail and so beautifully renovated. Can highly recommend on all counts and will definitely stay again.

Verified traveler (10/5): - There was everything to like and nothing to dislike! After a long car journey to Buxton, Andie & Neil welcomed us into their delightful home with tea and homemade cake. We were then shown to our room, which was so lovely and bright. It was immaculately clean and had everything we required. The bed was very, very comfortable. Breakfast, cooked by Neil, was excellent and set us up for the day. We stayed 2 nights at GRENDON. It is well located for the town. On our first evening, we took a taxi into town (£3.50) but for those wanting to walk it is walkable. Andie and Neil have spent a long time renovating their house and it’s easy to see how much love and attention to detail they have put into GRENDON . We loved it and without hesitation would highly recommend it.

B (10/5): Immaculate property great location - This was a last minute booking as we couldn’t get anywhere in Bakewell to go to Chatsworth. Im really glad we couldn’t as we could not have had a more perfect accommodation, gorgeous breakfast and fabulous bed. The rooms are spacious with everything you need. Even home made biscuits. And offer of tea and cake on arrival. Walking distance to town and caves. We intend to go back again.
