Guest Reviews

- Val (10/5): Best Stay in Sayulita - Everything was great!👍 We stayed a month and will definitely go back. We are a retired couple, and the location was perfect. Literally a 3 min walk to the North beach.which, in our opinion, is better, less crowded. Same with the area. Little Market right there for your convenience. There is no need to rent a golf cart like most people. It's not on a hill, and it's great to be able to walk everywhere. The main square and beach are less than a kilometer walk with many restaurants along the way. We never ate at the same place twice and enjoyed a walk home after dinner.
The hotel was perfect👌 Andrea & Margarita are extremely friendly & efficient💕
The fridge and stove top allowed us to cook our simple brunches.
Outdoor space was awesome. Morning coffee on the balcony, cool off in the pool (towels provided), and enjoy relaxing in the sun or shade on the rooftop terrace.
We absolutely loved it 😍 Nothing!
Well, earplugs might help with the Pickleball court across the street, sometimes the Rooster crowing (welcome to Mexico) but that's just me, I'm not an early riser and had earplugs.😁

- Jaime (10/5): - La atención del personal.
- Rebecca (9/5): Incredibly relaxing, peaceful, enjoyable. - Great location, comfortable room, nice to have a balcony!!!
Very quiet, which is always a huge plus! I wish there were sponges and dishtowels and detergent for the mini kitchen!!!

- Stephen (10/5): Very nice and accommodating family running this beautiful hotel! - Bella!
- Friederike (8/5): - tolle Betreiber, sehr sympathisch und hilfsbereit, gute Lage
- Noah (7/5): This spot offers great value and a comfortable stay. - Great location, close to the beach and only a couple minutes to the centre of town. The place is clean and has lots of communal spots to chill and hangout. The wifi was poor (on the third floor), had to use mobile data mostly to get pages to load. Water pressure in the shower could be better
- Estrella (10/5): -
- Sabih (10/5): - Everything from location to aminities, staff and customer care. Nothing
- Tamara (9/5): -
- Laura (10/5): -
- Nathan (8/5): - Thought it was a cool little place, if im ever in town again I will definitely look them up again Shower was something to be desired just because it took a bit to get hot water and the direction the water was spraying
- Edward (8/5): I will be back - Friendly staff. Great location Had to mover rooms. Fridge not functioning
- Balu Colors (10/5): -
- Amy (8/5): We would definitely stay here again. - The family that runs this hotel is so friendly and quick to help. The location is on the quieter side of town but a 3 minute walk to streets with restaurants and shops and also to the beach. It would be helpful to have some flatware and a pot or frying pan to eat with in the kitchen, otherwise the kitchen was great. On the other hand there are so many great restaurants.
- Amy (9/5): Definitely stay here again. - This is a lovely family-run hotel on a quiet street on the quiet Northside of town. It is still two blocks from the beach and a five minute walk into the buzzing center. The family was totally accommodating and attentive.
- Lynn (8/5): Very pleased with everything and staff were very nice. - Rooms were large, beds comfortable , had a kitchen
- Cari (10/5): Exceptional - Very peaceful. Clean, spacious room. Complimemtary bottled watet. Pool was so nice, especially having partial shade. Would definitely recommend, especially for families. Very friendly staff! :)
- Randi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Chris (6/5): This could be an awesome place to stay with a little renovation. - Great location
Clean
Friendly staff Dingy and I inviting
The water bottle almost impossible to manage. Limited kitchen supplies
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cindy (5/5): Clean, basic but currently under renovations. - Was very clean and liked having a kitchen. Booked the hotel as I thought there would be social areas as I was alsone but was unaware that hotel was going through many renovations and at one point I was the only guest.
- Shannon (8/5): Great location and very nice little hotel. - Really sweet family run place. Nice little pool and aesthetics were lovely. Great room. No hot water. The kitchen items such as pots and silverware etc must be asked for or you don’t have an equipped kitchen.
- Chloe (9/5): Great. - I loved this little hotel and the
family that runs it.Perfect location out of the “scene” of Sayulita.
- Russell (10/5): Exceptional -
- Russell (10/5): Exceptional -
- Brad (6/5): Nice people, over priced and largely empty - Very nice people- asked if we needed anything. But…there were things they couldn’t provide. Lacking cooking basics - large bowl, only on dull cutting knife, no cutting board, cookware was terrible, etc. made it virtually impossible to properly cook. Then no table to sit/eat at.
- Don (7/5): Good - Close to beach Poor wifi in room. Little pressure in shower. Had to run hot water for 10 minutes to get warm water as per employee instructions.
- Thomas (6/5): Basic hotel, good service, overpriced - Good service, large room, nice dishes, Hotel is dated. Bathroom is basic. Our room faced road, rooms on level three might be better.
- Dnalford (8/5): Nice stay in Sayulita, see you later! - Spacious room that is quiet at night
Comfortable beds, slept good
Nice plates and cups
Hot shower Chaotic check in, room wasn't ready and fridge didn't work. No TP, no cutlery, no soap etc. But they did solve all the problems quickly and friendly.
- Glorybell (8/5): Good - They do not providencia breakfast or meals
- Johan (9/5): Superb - Location, staff. Noise, bed.
- Sandra (9/5): We stayed two weeks and found the location good because it was quieter than being in the centre, the beach is very close - Clean, comfortable, friendly staff. The pool was a nice size. Beds were very comfortable. We really used the kitchen a lot and thought it could be better equipped. There were only a couple of pans and no lids for them. A sharper knife, and wiping up supplies would have been nice. We did ask for some things and the staff did supply them.
- Serafin (7/5): Good - Friendly staff Place needs to be remodel, needs a restaurant, bar
- Alanna (7/5): Not luxurious but just what was needed for a stay in Sayulita. - Very close location to the beach, quieter part of Sayulita, nice staff. Hot water wasn’t working, welcome desk didn’t really speak any English. Overall, not a lot of issues, though. Good value for someone that isn’t planning to spend a ton of time in room.
- Karl (7/5): Good - we did not eat the breakfast na
- Charlotte (10/5): The best place to stay in Sayulita ! - This is THE best hotel in Sayulita. Its a bit outside the center which is perfect to have quiet time and night but its still walking distance from the beach and all the fun. The room are nice, clean and big and have all the equipement that you might need. The best part is the people that run the place : the are the nicest people. Always there to help, super interesting to talk to…just really wonderfull people !
I highly recommand that you go to this hotel! we are actually planning when we are gonna go back ! 💕 Nothing!
- Christine (9/5): Superb -
- Randi (8/5): Nice room … great location - Location & staff … comfortable beds Kitchen area needs utensils & tea kettle
- Katherine (7/5): Good - The children made a lot of noise daily …
- Rose (10/5): Fantastic place, would love to visit again! - Really nice family run hotel, impeccably clean rooms and attentive staff. Awesome pool too!
- Dalya (5/5): Passable - No hot water at all and water pressure like a trickle. We could hardly take a shower .
Elevator doesn’t always work .
No compensation was offered .
- Christopher (7/5): Good - Roof terrace was very nice, great views, but furniture somewhat ragged. Staff were very friendly, attentive, and helpful! Location was perfect. Could us more (or better) cooking utensils... No covers for pots; frying pan handle was loose.
- Larisa (8/5): Very good - Location and cleanless Unstable internet
- Klein (9/5): Traditional and spacious - Large well laid out rooms. The quality of furniture was decent too. Has elevator which makes it accessible for those that need lift. Rooms have kitchen with utensils. Not just a mini bar but full kitchen. Location is excellent. About 2 blocks to beach and about 3 blocks to neighborhood restaurants and bars. Family run place. Nice family but they are internet slow and perhaps not fluent in English. So if you are expecting international level attention this is not your place.
- Kathy (6/5): Don’t think I’d stay here again… unless I know the service improved - Location was good, nice and quiet.. Kitchen poorly equipped, no supplies.. only two forks, two knives and two tablespoons. No dish soap, paper towels, towels.. nothing. One nailer and one frying pan. TV had very poor picture quality, only worked half the time. wifi was weak. Had no housekeeping services so we had to turn in towels and wash cloths everyday, along with water and toilet paper. They were generous with the bottled water.
- Larisa (9/5): I enjoyed my stay. - Clean and quiet. None
- Travis (3/5): Would not recommend staying here if you are an international guest. - The decor and facility was nicely built. The furniture looked nice. The location was just outside the loud busyness of the downtown area. It was quiet at night. The pool was too cold. The bed was terribly uncomfortable. The staff did not clean the room except when I made a point to find them and requested cleaning, new towels and toilet paper.
- Donna (7/5): Quiet place but old. - The rooms were clean. Very quiet. The entire place is ‘tired’… needs a lot of upkeep as it is old and hasn’t been maintained. Pictures make the courtyard look way nicer than it is. Rooftop could be really nice but run down.
- Rebekah (10/5): A lovely hotel. We would definitely come back - The location was perfect and nice quiet corner of sayulita super close to the beach. The kitchen was well stocked and clean. The family that runs it is lovely my son made friends with their kids and had a great time playing with them. The refrigerator was a little load but I just unplugged it at night and everything still stayed cold enough
- Holly (5/5): Barely adequate and overpriced for amenities. - The staff was friendly. The sheets had no elastic left so they kept coming off. Walls were not clean. Bug smash smears in the paint. No pillow protectors, stingy amounts of toilet paper. No dish towel or basic cooking supplies like soap, salt and pepper. Safe was there but not secured to anything.
- Paul (7/5): Good - Quiet and close to beach Hidden message not to drink water
- Jane (7/5): Ok for the money - Location was good for town and beach. More kitchen supplies needed and hairdryer not available.
Patio too small to sit on and adjoining dirt road made it very noisy and dusty.
- Sharon (10/5): Exceptional - The entire space was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
- Karina (6/5): Pleasant - Large rooms The wifi doesn’t work in the room, you have to go downstairs to the common area, there was no toilet paper or comforters, no parking (despite booking saying there is) and took awhile for someone to show up to get the check in going
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good - Amazing location being on the quieter side of town but so close to the downtown action. The beach is two blocks away and easy to find. The family that runs the hotel is very nice and accommodating. Our rental golf cart ran out of battery and the owner drove us around trying to help fix the situation which was over and above their duty. The kitchen is great if you want to stay there longer term. We didn’t swim in the pool but it was clean and well maintained. Zero Wifi service in the room. There is some wifi outside but it was so slow I used my data plan instead. People hang out in the courtyard and the sounds can resonate into the rooms when it’s late at night. Pillows were poor quality
- William (2/5): very disappointed - no no breakfast, no kitchen utensils, no available staff, no bottled water
- Michelle (7/5): Good - The size of the room and the location. The staff was very friendly, but did not speak any English and our Spanish is limited, so communication was hard as we had to move rooms due to challenges in the first one. After we had to move rooms, the 2nd room had a small dribble in the shower. It was not enough to really take a shower, so we used the public shower to rinse all salt water off and tried to use a small amount of soap in our shower that dribbled out. The staff was aware as we showed them, but they said the water pressure would pick up if left on long enough. But it never did. We didn't want to move rooms again, so we just dealt with it.
- Barbara (7/5): Good - The pool was great, area was very quiet, a few blocks from the town and beach. It is an older hotel, quaint, not fancy. Run by a local family so nice to put money back into the community.
- Michelle (10/5): I will stay here again - I love this hotel, the rooms are super comfortable and clean. It’s close to town, and had a lovely roof top, and the staff are super friendly
- Noralee (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gabriela (8/5): Very good -
- Edgar (9/5): Superb - Miy agradable elmpersonal
- Douglas (8/5): Very good -
- Mia (10/5): we will be booking this amazing hotel again in sayulita! - small boutique hotel on the north side. friendly staff, clean pool and clean rooms.
- Alan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anonymous (7/5): Great location and friendly staff . - The location was quiet and short walk to beach The price was too high for the value .
- Michelle (10/5): just a lovely hotel, everything we needed :) - I love this hotel, the hotel itself was so beautiful, such amazing artwork throughout, comfortable rooms, close to town , close to the beach, awesome roof top, golf cart rentals and the staff were super friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back !
- Louisiane (6/5): We were please beside the second lock to open the door - Location staff very nice the room was very clean
Very quiet close to the noisy town
We will go back The way we get back in after 6;00 p.m was hard to open the door for us
Sure there is another way better
Also staff should be there longer than 5:00
- Sophie (7/5): comfortable room with kitchenette, short walk to beach, very accommodating staff and short walk to restaurants. - close to beach. very nice room with kitchenette. elevator. rooftop lounge in poor condition. few inviting places with comfortable seating in lobby area. tiny balcony on very dusty road. pool patio seating uninviting. poor sidewalks and very rough dirt road difficult to walk on.
- Tim (8/5): Very good - Great location, very clean and super sweet family who runs the hotel No food or breakfast but plenty of options for breakfast nearby
- Julia (7/5): Besutiful, quiet family run hotel near the beach. - I loved the location because it's just two blocks from the beach but much quieter than other places (other than a little light construction across the road).
I like the character of the place, the layout of the room and great kitchen. most of all what makes this hotel special is the fact that it's run by a sweet extended family. The shower is low pressure and takes a long time to heat up. The heat is solar so it's warmest in the afternoon.
You have to request maid service each day. Otherwise, they don't come. But they do a great job when they come and I really enjoyed practicing my Spanish with the owner, Margarita. She is very accomplished and has a great sense of humor.
The kitchen is great in that there's a beautiful four burner gas stove and a full sized fridge. However, if you want to take full advantage of kitchen, you do have to request all the supplies including pots, dish soap and rags, a working plug for the sink, a toaster...
The internet is good except in the area where the bed was.
- Vesa (8/5): We felt at home in Sayulita - The location was good, close to beach but far enough from the noise of the centre. The staff was wonderful even though we had some linguistic difficulties. Everything was very clean. A nice and cosy place! The roof terrace had seen its best days.
Breakfast would have been welcome
- Kostas (6/5): Pleasant -
- Jacobsen (7/5): Good -
- Bridget (10/5): perfect quiet location - location nothing!
- Ineke (8/5): Very good - Great location. Beach, restaurants, groceries, shopping all within 5-10 min walk
- Robert (10/5): Exceptional -
- Katherine (8/5): We enjoyed our stay theee. - It was clean, the pool was nice, close to the beach. The staff were helpful and friendly even though we don’t speak Spanish. They could use a few more pots and pans for cooking. There was some construction noise across the road, but this is no fault of the hotel.we
- Sanford (8/5): Very good -
- Jose (8/5): Very good -
- Sam (9/5): Superb -
- Gidney (8/5): Very good - Great location close to the beach
- Yvonne (8/5): It’s a great location, short walk to beach, lots of eating places and coffee shops in the area. - No food here They had a kitchen but no tea towel, dish rag, cutting board, sharp knife.
- Gidney (8/5): Very good -
- George (10/5): great value for the price - great quiet location just a short walk away from the center and an even closer walk to a quieter part of the main beach. clean and spacious and lovely staff.
- Miguel (8/5): seemed family owned very comfortable - clean and friendly limited parking
- Fang (9/5): Superb -
- Jane (4/5): find a better place - location is very good the person at the desk was very unwelcoming
the rooms are unattractive
the refrigerator cycled 24/7 and was very loud
garbage right outside the door on the street
SAFE was unsecured and could be removed easily
No pots and pans, just dishes so couldn’t actually make anything to eat
Always out of TP
Surprised us with an exorbitant extra charge for our third guest whom we added at the time of booking.
- David (9/5): Superb -
- Wawad (9/5): Superb - We were looking for a room with two beds and you cant beat the price of this one. I think it is family owned and ran so it has a homely feel. The staff were very responsive and accommodating. I love the location, its in the quiet side of town and there were really good restaurants around and several yoga places nearby. The beach is walking distance and you the town center is a few minutes away. I will miss the abuelo that greets us everyday.
- Malcolm (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kathy (10/5): The hotel is exceptionally clean. The location is far enough from downtown that the club music is not heard - but near - close to beach and downtown, but far enough that the club music was not heard - quite there is an amazing rooftop area that could be better utilized
- Bruce (8/5): Very good -
