Guest Reviews
- Natasha (10/5): - The apartment is well priced and conveniently located close to Te Pae Conference Centre.

- yuxiang (8/5): - 地理位置非常好,闹中取静,步行一百米可达基督城植物园。步行15分钟范围内可基本逛完基督城市中心。
- Kay (8/5): Great location, good layout - Great location, great lay out (perfect for our family of 4 plus grandparents) There wasn’t great attention to detail with the cleaning - lots of spiderwebs on the balcony, dusty/dirty couches
- Andrew (10/5): Great place to stay especially for families, close to city and the botanic gardens - Very clean and close to city and gardens
- Martin (10/5): Very comfortable, well equiped apartment, close to CBD -
- Cindy (6/5): We had fun and a good catch up but the place was missing a few important items. - Location was great, back from the street, quiet. Kitchen and bathrooms good. The ad claimed there were two doubles and two single beds. The two singles were in fact bunks, in a room no bigger than a cupboard - nowhere for cases, or clothes or hanging space. As the youngest (at 66) I was in the top bunk. The seating in the lounge was inadequate for six adult - a two seater and two single seats. Don't advertise as accommodating six adults if you can't seat six adults in the lounge. Also, no mirrors except for the two bathrooms. Not adequate for six women getting ready and trying to get out in the morning.
- Kristina (7/5): Great accomodation but be aware of the $300 bond & 3rd party arrangements - It's great accommodation, in a great location, which is central - but quiet. It was comfortable and clean, with everything you'd need. However... It is run by a 3rd party, not through booking.dot.com. We had to pay a $300 bond before we could get the code! I had some data issues, which made this whole process really complicated and took a couple of phone calls to sort out, making check in stressful. They also held the bond which took weeks and follow up phone calls to get back.
The wifi was not reliable and i ended up using data instead.
- Andy (10/5): It suited our work trip very well thank you - Nice large apartment, with a good garage suited is well.
- Erica (9/5): Very comfortable, clean. Catered for everything we needed - Size of apartment and location was excellent .

- Alice (10/5): Great location, clean, spacious and warm apartment. Free secure car-parking. - Great location, clean, spacious and warm apartment. Free secure car-parking. We would definitely stay again.
- Babycatcher2014 (9/5): Great location and comfortable accommodation for a lovely stay in Christchurch - Myself and a friend really loved our stay here. We came to Christchurch for a short break away. The location was excellent. Close enough to the central district that it was a short 15 minute stroll but far enough out that it was not noisy at night. The beds were very comfy and we both slept great. Loved the little amenities that were included such as shower gel, shampoo and soap. Bus stops were also within walking distance too. We'll be returning if the accommodation is available the next time we visit Christchurch Cannot think of anything
- Phil (7/5): Great apartment apart from the uncomfortable beds - The location was amazing. Great sized apartment with everything you need for a great stay. Feel terrible having to say but both the two double beds that we slept in were very uncomfortable.
Need an upgrade to newer beds
- Stephen (8/5): Very good -
- Jeffrey (9/5): Superb -
- Delia (9/5): Superb -
- Mary (9/5): Superb - Great location. Wonderful apt
- Anne (8/5): Very good - Need new pillows
- Suzanne (7/5): Good -
- Anne (9/5): Perfect for an inner city getaway - Easy walkjng access to city centre, lots of coffee shops nearby. Easy access to routes out of town by car. Was warm in 2 top bedrooms.
- Ashraf (8/5): Great location in a city full of things to do. Perfect for a family. - The location was great. Comfortable walking distance to the centre of Christchurch, but quiet enough and with off-street parking. Well renovated kitchen and bathrooms. Agents were very helpful, even when we needed to contact them on Sunday afternoon. The third bedroom is tiny and would be OK for two small children, but no-one older. Lots of stairs so not suitable for the less mobile.
- Shannon (8/5): Location, value for money. Quiet and peaceful. - Location, value for money. Quiet and peaceful. There was no tea, oven was unclean, not enough places to sit together for the people booked
- Rupee001 (10/5): Exceptional -
- Uschi (6/5): Pleasant place, ideal location. I would have been nice if it was cleaned. - Central location, comfortable, very roomy. The apartment had not been well cleaned. The shower was dirty&the carpets were not vacuumed
- William (9/5): Superb -
- Megan (8/5): Enjoyed the stay - easy to deal with and was a fantastic location handy to central Christchurch - It was a great location and accommodated us well! more comfortable couches

- Anita (7/5): Good - Walking distance to town and tram.
Quiet area.
Great communication with staff.
Easy to find.
- Junhao (9/5): Superb - Location of accommodation was right in the centre of christchurch. it was clean. However, do note that if u have too many ppl using the hot water, there's a chance that u may finish using all the hot water. Take a afew hours for u to have hot water again None
- Sally (9/5): Superb - Great location - quiet. Warm. The third bedroom is very small and not really suitable for adults - the photos had shown the two bunks so this was not a surprise but did not show how limited the room was or how this made the ladder to the top bunk a trip risk.
- Amanda (9/5): Great group facility with excellent central location. - Great location. Excellent communication from property owners. Lovely facilities, even had the place warmed up for our arrival. The couch wasn’t very comfortable to sit on.
- Kate (9/5): Superb - The number of txt or emails I got too many
- Lisa (9/5): Superb -
- Bec (7/5): There was a booking fee that was required to be paid that wasnt mentioned in booking.com advert and prices didn’t match - Location close to city centre, garage and off street parking Beds very soft, limited size glassware
- Jill (9/5): Excellent location and accommodation for our time in Christchurch. Would definitely book again. - Excellent quality accommodation, perfect for our visit. Wonderful location, lots within walking distance. Garage a bonus. A bit difficult initially to find, no 30 outside on the street. It would have been helpful to know to go down driveway number 28.
- Peter (10/5): Exceptional -
- Christine (9/5): Great place to stay - Nicely decorated, clean, comfortable beds. Very helpful host.
Team stop directly outside. Lounge window looked directly out into another house, but JFI, not a problem for us
- Vanessa (10/5): Perfection - Perfect location for an event we were going to at Hagley park . Absolutely perfect location
- Heather (8/5): Very good - Location was excellent. Kitchen was well provisioned. 3rd Bedroom is very small with no storage facilities.
Apartment was difficult to find as the street signage refers to block 29 only - block 30 is tucked away behind.
- Susan (10/5): Good city stay - Nice little property on the edge of town centre, very handy for Hagley Park, where we were lucky to see the annual event Sparks in the Park. Tram passes right by with two stops easy walking distance. Well equipped property, washing machine/clothes line a god send. Comfortable beds, good bathroom facilities. A great spot for us for 3 days recharging of batteries on long road trips. Nice quiet area. Nothing not to like
- Colin (9/5): Superb - Location close to city centre, and easy walking to Botanic Gardens Limited Tv options, air conditioner needs some adjusting
- Jon (9/5): Superb -
- Mark (6/5): Needs a freshen up and a proper clean - Location is great Furniture is old and uncomfortable and needs replacing - also advertised as two single beds in the 3rd room - it’s actually a bunk bed which isn’t suitable for adults over 6ft which we are.
- Wilhelm (9/5): Superb -
- Sarah (9/5): Superb -
- Sue (8/5): Great well-appointed apartment, close to Hagley Park & the city centre. Very enjoyable - Everything was pretty perfect. Only one thing we should mention is the lounge suite could do with replacing. It was very uncomfortable. Other than that we were very happy.
- Sue (10/5): Great location and very quiet and good for groups or families - It caters for groups of travellers that need the space It’s off the road so there’s no noise
- Steve (7/5): Good -
- Brian (9/5): Superb -
- Natasha (10/5): Exceptional - Conveniently located close to the CBD.
- Nick (8/5): Very good -
- Zay (8/5): Just what we needed. Central, quiet, good size. No hassles - Super location and room set up was perfect for us and my daughter, partner and baby.
Felt really happy on the rainy day we arrived to be able to have earlier access and unload all the luggage instead of charting it around.
- Trish (9/5): Great stay and location, would definitely recommend. - Excellent location within easy walking distance to beautiful parks and the centre of town.
Great supply of consumables.
Tram runs very close to accommodation. Very little room to put suitcases.
Some of the permanent residents parked in the driveway which made it difficult to enter and leave the property.
The street numbering is a little confusing.
- Ian (10/5): Comfortable town house - Really nice multi-level well equipped town house. Balcony facing the street and small hard paved garden at rear. Loved our stay here, short walk into Christchurch and the restaurants on The Terrace. Not sure how good the sound insulation is between houses. When we were quiet the TV next door was easily heard. Wouldn't want any party animals next door!
- Tony (8/5): Very good - Good location and a very nice house. The bed was very soft, and the toilet extract fan did not work.
- Alistair (8/5): Appartment very satisfactory - Location was great but difficult to find late at night as there is no signage out the front of the property. No strre number or property name visible from the road.
- James (9/5): nice well located and equipped property - clean , well located and well equipped the steps on the bunk bed in the third bedroom are in an awkward position
- Chiew (9/5): excellent location to get into city and main attractions - location, cleanliness, spacious dryer in located in garage instead of laundry room, aircon only I. living room, not in room hence rooms are pretty warm during the day
- Josh (10/5): Exceptional -
- Graham (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cleveland (10/5): Armagh Apartment 3 - Excellent rooms and spacious areas. No issues with room. Excellent value!
- Nik (5/5): Passable -
- Christina (8/5): Great location and with a couple of tweaks this could be a stunning apartment. - Great location and two bathrooms was a real bonus. Lack of cutlery (only 5 spoons!) and dishes (only 6 mugs) - which meant that we had to run the dishwasher too often. Provide more mugs ( minimum 12) and you will save money in the long run.
No replacement bag for the food waste bin - gets a bit smelly after 9 days and you can’t expect guests to buy bin liners. Also bad smell downstairs from the wheelie bins in the garage. Rather disconcerting to have a bin removed to be emptied then returned to the garage - you should mention this in the information pack.
There was a note about the carpet needing to be replaced. We actually thought the carpet was fine but you need to get rid of the awful coir rug which sheds everywhere- or provide a much better quality vacuum cleaner. I did use the hoover a few times but it was pretty hopeless.
- Kym (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lay (10/5): Exceptional -
- Deaney (9/5): Superb - Very handy to our venue at Hadley Park
- Kf (8/5): Very good -
- Seo (10/5): fantastic property. I will return! - excellent good size property for a family of five. very well equipped kitchen! nil
- Sue (9/5): Beautiful city and a great place to stay and enjoy it. - Loved the location as my family walked to and from the city. Property was lovely even with the stairs and enjoyed the lovely kitchen Leaving!!
- Sue (9/5): A comfortable and well-equipped apartment in a great location. Good for a family. - It was an easy walk to the convention centre and also to the botanic gardens, which were absolutely gorgeous in the spring. The shower in the main ensuite was fantastic. The apartment was spacious and comfortable and wifi was good the whole time. I found it a bit creepy that I left the internal door to the garage closed, but when I came home twice, it was open. The lounge directly overlooks the main carpark entry, so you need to keep the curtains closed for privacy.
- Jody (8/5): Suited 3 individual adults well, would stay again. - Great location and easy walking distance to cbd, casino and cafe just down the street. Packet of biscuits was a nice touch. Quite location away from street noise. Lovely neighbourhood that felt safe enough to walk back from town late in evening. Some very minor things that could be improved...Lounge floor didn’t look like it had been vacuumed, pillows on couch were covered in the ‘dust’ from mat on lounge floor, one of the bed spreads had obvious stain on it. Microwave didn’t have a spinning dish in it. Couldn’t find a water jug/bottle to put water in to put in the fridge.
- Judith (8/5): Very good - Quiet spacious apartment, easy walk to city center and close to Botanic gardens. Main bedroom bed sagged at edges. Uneven/lumpy cushions on lounges. Toaster only cooked on one side.
- Robert (10/5): Exceptional -
- Derrick (8/5): Very good - All good except we couldn't connect to the internet on all our devices.
- Julian (10/5): Great stay - Felt homely Couch was uncomfortable- hard cushions
- Rebecca (6/5): Great spot, would come back! - The location was great & the layout worked perfectly for us! The wifi didn’t work & the shower water wouldn’t go hot on Sunday morning.
- Claire (10/5): Amazing place, location and service -
- Harris (8/5): Favourable weather stay at the Christchurch City (September 2022) - Location is very close to the Christchurch Botanic Garden, which has been very well maintained and with many beautiful plantations. We saw many sakura trees during our visit. There are no shops/restaurants around the apartment area. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the city centre for dining and shopping.
- Joshua (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jasper (8/5): Good place to stay even with just 2 of us - Plenty of room, spacious Need to check light bulbs. Some of them blown
- Maria (10/5): Exceptional - Comfortable and location Nothing
- Chris (6/5): great location. won’t return unless furniture is replaced - location and easy access poor quality furniture, worn and uncomfortable.
- Glenn (8/5): Very good -
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great apartment, close to city ammenities. Very clean and tidy.
- Holly (10/5): - This is a clean modern well equipped apartment in great location, couldn't fault anything
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Ligging in centrum is goed. Stijl van huis is echter goedkoop en weinig smaakvol
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Right in the heart of Christchurch, easy walk to main district, casino and the botanic gardens
- Fred (8/5): Great location in downtown Christchurch - This three-room apartment was located near many tourist spots we wanted to visit. It was very spacious and the full kitchen was helpful. Great wi-fi. Came with washer & dryer to do laundry. Could use ice-cube trays. And shower door design allow much water to leak out. Living room area allows for relaxing evening.
