• david (10/5): Great stay, well worth it - The stay went perfectly. Stefano contacted me within minutes of booking and he sent me lots of voice mails with information about how to get in the apartment, lots of local information for eating and places to see. I wasn't sure of the set up before i got there so here it is. You enter the main building and go to 2nd floor. Cloister Inn is essentially 3 rooms divided off by a small central corridor. Each room is self contained with a shared kitchen. I was a little put off at 1st but soon realised it was exactly what we needed. The cleaner came in each day to make the bed. Just to clarify the pool is not on site and you have to pay per hour. Breakfast is at a lovely little street cafe 1 min walk away. You only get 1 pastry and a drink however that was fine. Overall the place was perfect to be used as a base to visit places away from Naples and you will not find a better host than Stefano

• Verified traveler (10/5): Cloister Inn centralt läge i gamla stadskärnan - Bekvämt bra boende i gamla stadsdelen av Neapel. Man behöver känna till att boendet ligger i den riktigt gamla stadskärnan m gamla smala stengator från grekernas tid före Kristus. Vår gata var lugn o tyst läge nattetid. Trevlig värd, snabb i ageranden o trevlig städerska som såg till rummet varje dag lite senare på dagen runt lunchtid. Pålitliga o hjälpsamma är de båda två. Liten gammal hiss upp till andra våningen, men trappa finns. Italiensk frukost m sötebröd (du får välja mellan olika alternativ) o varm dryck på café med kort gångavstånd dit. Vill man ha mindre söt frukost får man köpa till själv. Kaféet beläget på huvudgatan o trevligt att se invånarna själva komma gåendes där morgontid. Trevlig personal på kaféet o fin service. Möjlighet att förvara småsaker i kyl o frys hade vi. Delade denna m ett annat par som bodde bredvid oss. Bra praktiskt boende med det ljuvliga att få uppleva den gamla stadskärnan tyckte vi. Vi tog metron från station Dante en bit bort.
• Jetzebell (6/5): - The room was cute and clean, but the outside and surrounding area was the worst I’ve ever seen. I almost stepped on dog poop. There were a ton of homeless and drunk people with alcoholic drinks on the ground. The owner was very nice and shared a lot of useful info. He also got us a taxi which was great. However, there were a lot of confusing instructions to get in and out of the room so I would recommend he make it a little easier with all the rules.
• Vanessa Andrea (10/5): - Unterkunft ist sehr zentral gelegen und sauber. Stefano gab uns alle nötigen Infos, die für einen unbeschwerlichen Urlaub nötig waren. Sehr zu empfehlen.
• Stella Rosa (10/5): Den største anbefaling - Vi har kun godt at sige om dette B&B samt om ejeren. Han hjalp os på alle tænkelige måder. Værelset er super og rengøringen lige så. Det ligger super centralt. Morgenmad er et stykke sødt, fx en croissant og så en varm drik på en café tæt på lejligheden. Pool er på nabohotellet og koster for 1 time 15 Euro. Den benyttede vi os ikke af.

It was the perfect location for day trips to the Almafi Coast, Rome, getting to the airport for a day trip to Venice, and Ischia. Stephano was the perfect host. He provided us with so much information about the area and went above and beyond in his communication with us. The room was very clean and quiet, yet located in a vibrant part of the city. We would highly recommend Stephano’s place to anyone going to Naples.

It is an appartment with 3-4 bedrooms with a small kitchen to share. No staff all the time, however the owner is always available. Simple breakfast at a close Coffee shop. Great services I will stay in this place again.
• Alexandre (10/5): Un séjour extra, un excellent accueil - Une situation exceptionnelle pour visiter Naples à pied: au cœur de Spacanapoli donc à deux pas de toutes les merveilles artistiques et du quartier Spagnoli, à 20 minutes à pied du port pour aller à Capri et des boutiques du quartier Chiaia, à 25 minutes de la gare pour aller à Pompei. Excellent accueil par Stefano qui parle très bien français et est aux petits soins. Très propre et bien tenu.

• FLAVIO (6/5): In the cidadel, not good with car - The room is in a building in the citadel, well located, but the streets are extremely narrow, if you are driving I do not recommend staying within this historic region (there are other options 300m away, with normal streets).

Of course you can stay in a five/four star hotel but you will only sleep there and pay 10 times I paid here. Plus Stefano- was so so so very helpful- amazing host. • Riguang (10/5): - Cloister Inn was a pleasant stay in such a busy city. The rooms were recently renovated and the bathroom had a modern shower. It was located on the 2nd floor so a bit away outside noise but it is located in a vibrant area so we could still hear some at night. The AC worked great and we were in a very convenient location. The host is very responsive and gave a lot of recommendations for the city.

We made the mistake of hiring a car and got so lost for 1.5 hours within the one way system around cloisters inn as the WiFi connection kept dying Stefano walked to where we were and “rescued” us then tried to get us out of the fines for driving with the ZTL zone that no one told us about. In the meantime Giuseppe bought our overly large American suitcases to our room for us. Whilst room is small, it was clean/quiet/affordable and perfectly located. Bed was so comfortable. Will definitely be back. Thank you gentlemen, you made made our quick visit unforgettable.

The only down side was that a couple taxis couldn’t come to the street. Lovely place, excellent communication with the owner, very close to The Museum Sansevero a MUST see.

He is easy to communicate with on What'sApp. He quickly answered our questions and gave suggestions. Unfortunately, on our last day when we were flying home, the entire country of Italy's taxi drivers went on strike. We were at a loss as how to get us and all our luggage to the airport without a taxi. Stefano went out of his way to first inform us of the strike, so we were aware, and then he was able to reserve us a private driver. Stefano is a very good host!

• Baye (8/5): 8/10 - Hated Naples but Cloister Inn was nice. Had some initial communication issues because the owner said he emailed me the check-in stuff but I never received it. He was easily reached via WhatsApp though. The hotel itself was nice - clean, modern. Shower was broken but owner fixed issue within 1 day. Owner does not allow eating in the room - which is a little annoying and inconvenient.

He is eager to help you and would help you call a taxi to come at 6am if you needed, as he did for us. The inn was located in the heart of Naples and almost everywhere was easily accessible by foot. The room was very clean and had everything you could need. Would definitely recommend staying here!
• Andy (10/5): - We were originally booked for a week in one of the 5 star hotels on Naples sea front but, due to unforeseen circumstances, had to cancel and rebook the trip two months later. The original hotel’s price has risen considerably so we looked for something more affordable and came across the Cloister Inn on Expedia. This turned out to be stroke of luck as the Cloister Inn is not only a really well organised B&B but is also very, very central to everything in the historical district ‘Centro Storico’. You can walk out of the front door and be at any of a dozen places of interest within minutes. There are a multitude of little shops of all kinds, and cafes and restaurants in the streets around. (Don’t let the Google Earth pictures put you off - they are old and the other hotel on Vico Pallonetto Santa Chiara is now fully rebuilt and the street is NOT a building site as it would suggest.) The Cloister Inn owners are extremely helpful and provide an excellent service - like a ‘home from home’. Nothing is too much trouble and they can offer a wealth of useful information about Naples and very good tips on where to go for the best restaurants etc. All-in-all Cloister Inn is to be thoroughly recommended.
