• Nicola (10/5): Exceeded expectations - The apartment was well priced for our weekend in Palm Cove. It was spotlessly clean. Nicole and Marcus did everything they could to make our stay easy. The snacks and drinks were a lovely welcoming touch. We also loved that there were so many towels!!! It was great not having to reuse the same towels after we’d been in the pool. Nicole was a wonderful host. We had a great time and would happily stay again. There was nothing. It was all good.

• Pauline (10/5): A peaceful stay that helped me unwind, clear my mind, and truly recharge mentally. - The facilities were excellent, and the housekeeping team was incredibly friendly and approachable, going above and beyond to ensure our family had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The pool area was spotless and very family-friendly, making it a great place to relax and spend time together. The bar staff at the pool area weren’t very friendly and seemed quite serious. I tried to engage in some light banter with the bar staff, but they seemed uninterested and not very responsive.

• Patrice (8/5): Excellent - Superbe piscine lagon avec bar incorporé Très belle chambre avec une baignoire spa sur notre balcon (gardez votre slip de bain, il y a quand même des voisins) c'est un vaste complexe hotelier mais on s'y sent très à l'aise sauf ..... si votre voisin de la chambre du dessous décide de faire un barbecue sur son balcon et que toute la fumée entre dans notre chambre sans déclencher les alarmes (???) car c'est un complexe hotelier qui a des chambres en propriété privée (un peu bizarre)

Then at checkout said its not applicable for the long weekend (our whole stay) Pool had not enough space for all pool goers Spa in our spa suite was dirty We were asked if we wanted house keeping seeming its the long weekend and to choose which days i wanted it? Like cmon, i paid $1500 for 4 nights, id hope house keeping was included no quetions asked... A mocktail cost $21 before 2 additonal surcharches, absolutely criminal!!! The alcoholic variation was only $1 more?? Door to the shower didnt close properly.

Külön örültünk a mosógépnek és a szárítógépnek. Minden nap tiszta törölközőt kaptunk. A reggeli bőséges, de nagyon változatos. Nem volt ilyen.

• katherinemJ453RS (6/5): Needs updating - This is a pretty hotel in a pretty location. The staff is top notch. I am giving it a rating of three because 1. There are no usb ports in the room. It’s not that hard to update the existing outlets include USB ports but the hotel has chosen not to. 2. There is not a single hook for hanging one’s clothes. The closet has hangers – those nasty hangers without a hook that you can’t remove from the closet. Two of the hangers had skirt clips that were broken. 3. The restaurant was closed two days a week.

• John and Ellen (10/5): A fabulous apartment with amazing hosts. - Such an amazing place and definitely the highlight of our trip. What a fabulous apartment. Nicole has wonderful taste and we had everything we could ever have needed for our stay plus a whole lot more. The unexpected provision of drinks, snacks and food were the icing on the cake. We cannot recommend this enough. Although there were 3 adults in our party there were games, books and toys provided for anyone with children. If you pass it by it will be a great loss to you! There is no lift in the block (not something the hosts can do anything about). However, we would gladly have carried our clothes up the stairs, one garment at a time, to have the privilege of staying here.

Only issue & not sure how it could be fixed but our room was level 1, there was a tin awning outside. It was raining & the drip from the awning on level 2 straight onto ours…..at night it’s a little disruptive

• Getaway630210 (4/5): Disappointing and underwhelming - My husband and I first stayed at Peppers Palm Cove during our honeymoon and we recently returned to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. As Gold Accor members and Accor Plus members we were really looking forward to the stay but unfortunately it was disappointing. Prior to arrival we emailed the property requesting early check in which is a benefit offered to Gold members. We arrived at 11am and while we didn't expect the room to be ready immediately it was disappointing that we had to wait three hours despite the resort not appearing to be full. The first room we were given had a view of an overgrown tree from the balcony and swamp/wetland area on the other side which did not match the room images shown on the Accor website. The interior was also slightly different. After raising this with staff we were moved to different room which resulted in a partial pool view. Overall, there didn't seem to be any priority or recognition of our Gold status. A warning for guests staying on the left side of the resort. The wetland next door means there is significant wildlife noise overnight (frogs, ducks and birds). Louvres in the bathroom rather than a sliding window panel did nothing to dampen the noise. Our sleep was repeatedly interrupted, and we actually left feeling more tired than when we arrived. Breakfast was average at best. Small details were missing that would improve the experience such as salt and pepper grinders, hollandaise sauce for the poached eggs, muffins and bagels. We had just spent four days at Peppers Beach Club Port Douglas and even though their buffet was smaller they included the small things to make the overall breakfast experience much better. Initially we thought the issues may have been due to a power failure early morning but the following day was no better. We ended up skipping breakfast on the final day and ate elsewhere. Service at the pool bar was slow taking upwards of 15 minutes to get a drink, and it really needs two staff members to properly cover both sides of the bar area. A QR code for ordering by phone from each pool lounge chair would have made ordering food more efficient and reduced the congestion at the pool bar. Our package included restaurant vouchers to La Mesa restaurant. We waited around 1.5 hours for a table even though the restaurant was only half full. When we returned later most tables were still empty so we couldn't understand why we had to wait so long. If we didn't have the vouchers we would have gone to another restaurant. Unfortunately our meal was interrupted by a fire alarm. The only real positive from the evening was that the food itself was very good. The lagoon pool was closed for part of our short stay which was disappointing and there are not enough umbrellas around the pool area to provide shade. The resort grounds appeared grimy and unloved in places - certainly not at the level expected of a 5-star resort. All of these issues added up to make our stay disappointing and underwhelming when we so looked forward to returning. Palm Cove itself is a beautiful destination with a great range of restaurants and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. We will definitely return to Palm Cove but next time we will choose a different property to stay at.
• Marina (10/5): - I had a wonderful stay at this accommodation. The room was very spacious and spotlessly clean, which made it very comfortable to relax in after a long day. The location was excellent—close to esplanade, variety of restaurants and very convenient for getting around. One of the highlights of the stay was the buffet breakfast, which had a great variety of fresh and delicious options to choose from. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience and I would happily stay here again. Highly recommended! 😊
• paulfJ6757JV (10/5): Tropical Oasis - Now this is ‘the place’ a must to visit and stay. Just imagine sitting by a tropical lagoon pool with beach, sun lounges, longe tunes and an awesome pool bar. This is my heaven! The vibe is vacation, relaxation and excitement all in one. Located directly opposite the beach in the most relaxing tropical vibe town. The staff are super friendly, and make you feel right at home. This is our 3rd visit to this property. We booked the spa penthouse suites looking over the main lagoon pool, the rooms were comfortable, clean and quiet. The bed and pillows were comfortable, the soap products smell nice. Out of all the places I have visited around the world this one is high on my favourites list because of the lagoon pool, It’s also another awesome Accor property. I am super keen to come back soon.

Palm Cove is a great little beach area with a surprising number of restaurants, coffee places and a beautiful beach area. The apartment was spacious, close to the beach. Nice view of the pool, great porch area and lots of towels.

Ocean view spa room was disappointing as the balcony looked over the roof of the restaurant below which was covered in leaf litter/branches so really detracted from the outlook. I mean we could see the ocean but was not worth the extra money.

• Grant (5/5): A 3 Star Resort with a 5-6 Star Pool area - Pools and surrounding areas are pure luxurious! All other areas not including pools and surrounds are 3 Star some 1 or 2 star. Rooms are dated and tired. Internet is patch and unreliable. I could smell the bathroom's bodywash they used to clean my room coffee mug.

• Andrea (8/5): schönes Hotel mit tollem Pool und gut für Ausflüge gelegen. Abends für uns zu ruhig. - Lage des Hotels ist sehr schön, zentral und gleich am Strand. Das Frühstück war für australische Verhältnisse sehr gut. Das Restaurant war an den ersten Abenden abends geschlossen und die Poolbar schliesst um 18.00 Uhr. Sicher ist das in Australien eher so üblich. Wir fanden es sehr schwierig später am Abend noch gemütlich in einem Restaurant zu sitzen, etwas zu essen oder gar ein Glas Wein zu trinken. Das hat jetzt aber nicht nur etwas mit dem Hotel zu tun.

Other family members and friends ate breakfast there and said it was fantastic More alternative meal choices at restaurant would have been good.

• Daecher (4/5): Not the spec you expect for 5 star resort - We traveled to Tropical Queensland for 9 night stay, we choose Beach Club Palm Beach as special treat for 3 nights as rated 5 Stars. We had a 1 bedroom apartment overlooking the lagoon pool and was so disappointing. The resort feels very dark and closed in, concrete jungle. Due to such a big resort it meant the pools were very crowded. We booked outside of Peak School Holidays so did not expect this. It was like the whole complex needed a good waterblast and clean up. We choose to leave after 1 night and source other accommodation. They fully refunded the un-used nights so we were very thankful.

• jordandesales (8/5): Great location for families and kids - Stayed here for 5 nights, the stay was fantastic and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Travelled with a car and there is undercover parking available on site which is a bonus. Pools are fantastic for kids, the lagoon pool in particular is excellent a great novelty having beach sand poolside. The reptile petting zoo on the weekend is a lovely touch to bring that Australia/Queensland vibe.

Would be nice to see a few extra things thrown in for the price, like bottled water, bottle of wine and small snacks. Not sure what but just a suggestion. We could not access the wifi and staff never followed up to fix it, after we reported it.

Looking over the beach of an evening was lovely. Our room was a good size too. La Mesa was lovely for dinner one night. The staff were all very friendly and helpful - at reception, at the pool bar and at the restaurant. We had an un renovated room so it did not look like the pictures at all. The room was a little run down but we were ok about it as I’d rather the view and size. Just be aware the rooms do not look like the pictures. Also lots of stairs. No lift.

• Wolfgang (9/5): Schöne Hotelanlage. - Reichhaltiges, leckeres Frühstück. Es fehlte an nichts. Tolle Lage direkt am Strand. Sehr nettes Personal. Tolle Pool-Landschafft. Schöne Anlage, die jedoch teilweise schon in die Jahre gekommen ist. Zimmertüren waren beim Zumachen sehr laut. Preislich am oberen Level. Check out schon um 10 Uhr.

The pool options are great and suit families or couples. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. Room had a little bit of wear and tear but nothing I would complain about.

As it was part of a retirement trip the hotel left a bottle of bubbly in our room. Pools were great. Would love to come back at some stage
