Schon beim Betreten wurde ich herzlich begrüßt, und während meines gesamten Aufenthalts habe ich mich bestens umsorgt gefühlt. • Jean (7/5): Good - For an overnight stay with our dog en route from Galicia to the Costa Blanca this was fine. It is a budget hotel in a very pleasant residential area of an exclusive part of the outskirts of Madrid. The conserje was pleasant on our arrival but was the only person we saw during our stay. We didn’t have breakfast. We were not told that the hotel was having major work done, the lift was covered in brown paper! We had to park our car full of luggage on the street outside which didn’t feel secure. It does seem as if you are in the middle of nowhere.

• Jack (10/5): The airport is perhaps 40 minutes away, but it was worth the taxi fare. - From the moment we arrived, (earlier than expected), Javier went out of his way to make us comfortable. This boutique hotel is spotless and clean in every respect. Javier recoomended a restaurant across the street for dinner and it was also excellent. Breakfast offered many choices and we were seated and served rather than serving ourselves from a buffet. H La Cabana is situated in a beautiful residential area with parks not far from the hotel. Our command of the Spanish language is limited but every one we met was helpful and gracious. So if you want a quiet location away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Madrid, this is the place to stay! Noticed several businees travellers staying here as well.

The mounting bracket must have broken which is unfortunate as the water pressure was much better than the rain shower. Everything else about our stay was great.

• Jackie (9/5): nice little hotel with amazing service - it is very small and only has 2 stars, however there is nothing not to like. rooms are clean and comfortable with toiletries in the modern bathrooms. breakfast is plentiful with loads of choice. the owner is amazing and his customer service is better than I have received in many 5atar establishments . the outdoor terrace is a great spot for a glass of something chilled and amuse v bouche are always bought to you😃 The towels are not great.
