• Kathrin (7/5): Für ein paar Tage okay - Das Hotel befindet sich in der Nähe zum Bahnhof und ist auch unterirdisch zu erreichen (wenn man sich da ein bisschen auskennt). Prinzipiell war das Zimmer zwar sauber, aber sehr stickig und die Luftfeuchtigkeit war extrem hoch. Extrem hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit im Zimmer. Die Lüftung im Bad hatte kaum Leistung, Handtücher konnten deswegen nicht richtig trocknen. Daher gab es auch Schimmel. Sehr kleines Zimmer.

• Rangana (9/5): - Stayed for several nights and had a smooth, comfortable experience. . The location is near Umeda Station made getting around easy. It was clean, the staff was friendly and the breakfast is excellent. Highly recommend.

• Kira (7/5): Mittelmäßiges Hotel in guter Lage - Das Hotel liegt zentral in Osaka, direkt an einem U-Bahn Zugang. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung. Nur um dort zu schlafen, war es okay, jedoch würden wir uns beim nächsten Mal nach einem anderen Hotel umsehen. Das Zimmer war wirklich super klein, hatte wenig Möglichkeiten, um einen Koffer zu öffnen, auch das Bad war sehr klein. Leider kam es auf den Bildern wieder nicht so rüber. Die Fenster konnte man nicht mal einen Spalt breit öffnen und war wieder zur anderen Hausseite raus. Das Personal war für japanische Verhältnisse auch nicht so freundlich, wie man es sonst gewohnt ist.

• FIRAT (7/5): It is okay not perfect but okay typical Ibis experience. - Location was okay. Room was small. It was typical Ibis hotels. Reception can be more friendly. They seemed unhappy and forcing to work there. Even though ı did online checkin they did another check in for me in there so ı waited sometime.

• Roving02342232279 (2/5): Disappointing Stay at ibis Osaka Umeda – Poor Value for Money and Below Expectations - My stay at ibis Osaka Umeda was quite disappointing, especially considering the high room prices. I expected a comfortable and modern experience from the ibis brand, but the actual experience was far below expectations. The rooms were extremely small compared to many other hotels in Osaka within the same price range. For the amount being charged, the room comfort and facilities were simply not worth it. The hotel also lacked several basic amenities that are standard in many hotels today. Complimentary drinking water bottles were not provided in the room, which was surprising because even smaller and cheaper hotels usually provide them as a basic courtesy. Another major disappointment was the TV and entertainment setup. At these prices, guests expect at least Android TV or smart TV functionality. Many hotels already provide this. Even if replacing all TVs is not within the hotel’s budget, the management can easily upgrade existing TVs using affordable Android TV sticks or streaming devices. This is a low-cost improvement that can significantly enhance the guest experience without changing the entire television setup. The coffee arrangement was also disappointing. Other ibis hotels provide proper coffee machines, which gives a much better experience, but here only basic coffee packets were provided in the room. It felt like an unnecessary cost-cutting measure. A proper coffee machine would be a much better option for guests. Cleanliness standards also need improvement. The floors and carpets did not appear to be cleaned properly, and overall housekeeping quality felt below standard.

Normalde iki kişinin iki valizi olur. Valizleri koyacak yer bulamadık. Birisini girişe diğerini sehba üzerine koyduk, bu sefer buzdolabini rahat açamadık, asklığa eşim iki giydi astı ve bitti. Ben hep valizden eşyamı giydim kaldırdım. Yatağımın yanında 25 cm eninde komidinimsi bir şey vardı. Bir şeyleri yere koyabildim. Bu otele tek valizle gidin , idare edin diyebiliyorum. Japonya da odalar küçük, bunu biliyoruz ama bu kadarı saçma artık. Eşimin tarafında komidinimsi şeyde yoktu.

The location works well. You can reach most shops within a short walk. This made daily plans simple and efficient. The room size is limited. It may feel tight if you have large luggage.

• K6039LQstephenm (8/5): Ibis standards in a good location - Stayed 3 nights at this ibis. We came by train, It’s a short taxi ride to the hotel from the station, we were shown a standard room but asked for a upgrade to a bigger room, it wasn’t expensive and well worth doing if available, it was twice as big with a good size bathroom and really made our stay better, Right below the hotel is the shopping mall and subway. It is so easy to get across Osaka on the tube and very cheap, we tried the breakfast but it was poor really, very little fruit offered, no toaster just a rubbish little grill and not much else. Better to save your money or use the cafes in the mall below, open from 8am. It’s in a good location for the shops and next door is a British pub (the hub). It’s a chain but ok. Fish&chips and shepherds pie etc. not big portions but not expensive either, the Osaka ferris wheel is just round the corner too, we tried the Osaka Sumo studio which we booked through Get your guide and found it very good at about £80 for both of us and right beside the tube exit, learned about it and had a laugh too, takes about 1-30hrs. a lovely girl on reception called Khumi was so nice and really helpful and nothing was too much trouble, she helped us plan tube routes and even gave us a picture map for the bus station to the airport when we left, she always greeted us with a smile. , bus station is easy to find from the hotel (15 minute stroll) and cost about £25 for both of us to Kansai airport and leaves every 20 minutes, about £160 for a taxi, we walked to the bus station without cases the night before so we knew the route, it’s just down the road, 50 minutes on the bus to the airport, about a ten minute walk is the Skytree observation building with the cool escalators. Worth a look, we both said we would stay at the Ibis again because of nice staff and great location

• Lukas (10/5): Comfortable and well priced. - Breakfast was great and the staff very helpful including assisting us to check in for domestic flight which would not work on my iPhone. We picked the hotel due to being close to Osaka train station. There is a door and elevator from the lower floor near north gate but this was not explained on the website. It took us an hour to find the hotel going up and down escalators with luggage before we found it. It’s easy to find when you know where to walk.

The location was good, just a short walk from the station and surrounded by plenty of food and shopping options, which made everything super convenient. The room was very clean and well maintained, and the breakfast each morning was delicious with a good variety of options. The only downside was that the room was quite small.

I would stay again. Clean and neat. Great optiins to use stairs or lift to subway. I didn't choose to eat breakfast but found options in all the eateries in the subway. Rooms were a good size for 1 person.
