• Gowthami (10/5): Comfortable stay with attractions near by - Location. Very close to bars, restaurants and bio bay tours with a beach right across the street. Though that beach is not swimmable and rocky. The balcony with a view of the ocean (though far off) was relaxing!

• VASYL (10/5): Wonderful place, excellent host, and an unforgettable stay — we would definitely come back again. - The place was absolutely amazing. It was very clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a perfect stay. The location was beautiful and peaceful, with great views and easy access to nearby attractions. The host was very friendly, responsive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We especially loved the cozy atmosphere, comfortable bed, and relaxing outdoor area.

We enjoyed the little trail to the beach across the street from the property. The staff was super friendly, from the owners to Jaqui in the cafe. We felt welcomed and well cared for the entire stay. The walk to town was only a couple minutes... super easy, no need to drive. It was nice to be a bit out of town as it provided quiet and relaxation. It was equally nice to be close to town because we could walk into town for dinner, to get the bio-bay tour transport, to shop for necessities, etc.

• Bird (5/5): We had an awkward feeling for most of our stay. - Close to restaurants. Helpful instructions as to touring the island. Proximity to restaurants and nice towels and chairs for rent. I would not bring younger people to the facility due to very strict regulations. Suitable for the older set.

The location to beaches and nightlife made our stay super easy and very relaxing. My wife and I took the opportunity to have Sundowner drinks on the roof which allowed us to have a nice moment. Not much to comment about in a negative sense.

Also was nice that there was beach towels (no charge) and beach chairs and coolers to rent for a low price. Owners were exceptionally wonderful! There was not one thing I did not like.

From the time I booked, I was able to call and speak to them to get advice/recommendations which made our stay that much better. The location was perfect. Close enough to walk but far enough from the busy/loud part of town that it was quiet. Bed was comfortable, A/C worked, breakfast was good. There is no elevator, but we knew that when we booked. Other than that, The Vieques Guesthouse is a perfect place for a short stay in Esperanza to experience the bioluminescent bay.

Amanda was brilliant at reception she was very helpful when we checked in giving us lots of recommendations, including a great beach only a few minutes walk away from the front door through the trees! The room was nice, no issues at all with noise or cleanliness and the location on the island is good. We would definitely come back to the guesthouse if we were in Vieques again. Nothing bad at all really. The only thing to be aware of I guess is that we visited in October and some of the restaurants nearby were closed as it was a bit quieter than the rest of the year but that's not the hotel's fault.

Amanda was so great and welcoming, I really appreciated the variety in breakfast options and the coffee every morning! The room was really spacious and super clean 👌 From the bottom of my heart, I couldn't fault it.

• Alexandra (9/5): An incredible experience (BioBay) made even more exceptional with accommodations at Vieques Guesthouse! - Of the 5 places we stayed on our trip to PR, this was by far our favorite! Amanda, the owner, was dynamite with recommendations for dining, tours & transportation. Her housekeeping staff are rockstars! Everything was incredibly clean, aesthetically vibrant & fully stocked. Plenty of plush towels, soft linens on comfortable beds & a fully functional kitchen. Quiet, powerful air conditioning units. Delicious complementary coffee in the morning. They also stock drinks & snacks for purchase in the lobby. This is not a negative reflection on Vieques Guesthouse, but other guests didn’t quite observe the ‘quiet hours’. If you are a light sleeper you may reconsider visiting Puerto Rico altogether, LOL, or just make sure to bring earplugs & eye masks.

Además el personal es muy agradable (solo hablan inglés) y el checkin y out es rápido y sencillo. Por decir algo, el precio me parece elevado y había que dejar depósito (aunque lo devolvieron superrápido)

• Andreia (10/5): Nice family hotel! - Nice family hotel, the rooms are the closest to 'being at home' that we have stayed. Amanda is really helpful and the environment is really friendly.
• Sergio (10/5): Nice small hotel with friendly staff - Owners are very friendly. Amanda made you feel welcome and provided tips. You can rent chairs and coolers for the beach, and there is plenty of parking across the street. It is two blocks (uphill) from restaurants, which is good and bad. Good because it is quiet, bad because you might need to use your car...at 104 degrees, even two blocks are a challenge. You can order breakfast at the hotel (very convient) A little far from the small malecon (two blocks), you can still walk, but with the summer heat, we preferred to use the car, which is not bad. You will need a car anyway to enjoy Vieques fully.
• Isis (10/5): - I booked for work purposes but ended up wanting to extend my stay. Very nice staff & costumer service, including the owner, she understood my situation and facilitated it.

• Catherine (10/5): - The Vieques Guesthouse helped make our vacation experience memorable. The room was clean and comfortable. The owners were helpful and accommodating and very knowledgeable about the Island. We will absolutely being staying there on future Vieques vacations.
• Raul (10/5): If you’re looking for a great experience, this is your place to stay. - The location was perfect and the room was great! The staff ensured that I have everything I needed for my stay. Nothing to say I didn’t like. It was a very pleasant experience.
• Shira (10/5): - We had a fantastic stay. Amanda, Todd and their staff were kind and wonderful and all of Amanda’s suggestions were spot on. We loved sitting on the rooftop in the evenings and watching the sunset. It was walkable to the main drag in Esperanza and provided a great base for exploring the island. We would definitely recommend.

• Karen (10/5): Host was extremely helpful and personable. - Good value for the money. Very hospitable. We were walking after dark so it was a little bit farther through about a block of residential than I wasn’t comfortable with before we got to restaurants, but didn’t have any problems. It was safe.

• Anthony (10/5): - The owners were top notch; super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The location was great for a 2 night stay with my wife and 2 kids. A few restaurants and a couple of nice beaches are within walking distance. So is Jak Water Sports, a fantastic option for a nighttime bioluminescent kayaking tour in Mosquito Bay.

• Lissette (9/5): Perfect vacations in Vieques - It is near beaches, Malecon, restaurants, walking distance. The rooftop view is spectacular!! The receptionist and all workers are so kind . They give information with the map about places that must visit, all beautiful!! The room in floor 3 w kitchen has all what you need. Beds comfortable. In bathroom have shampoo, conditioner and body lotion, and hot water. In bedroom has safe deposit box. Also they have for rent beach chairs and towels The room in 4th floor was so little for 4 people eventhough has 2 queen beds, the lock in the bathroom was not functioning. But has microwave and in bathroom has shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The stair railing in the 4th floor was corroded but as soon as we notified about it, because I injured my hand, was fixed covering damaged areas
• Bobbie Marie (10/5): - It was closeby everything we were interested in during our short stay. Amanda was so kind and accommodating, made sure we had all of the info we needed to enjoy our short stay on Vieques. The breakfast was also very tasty and I appreciated having soem drink/snack selections to purchase. Room was clean and everything we needed. My son loved having a hammock right outside the room as well! We will absolutely choose to stay here again if we ever get the chance!
• Shishan (10/5): Wonderful stay with delicious made-to-order breakfast, clean and stylish rooms, a friendly host, and - The breakfast was cooked to order, with a good selection for an in-house offering — and everything tasted absolutely delicious. The room was clean and nicely decorated, creating a comfortable and pleasant atmosphere. The host was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The location is excellent — just a short walk to everything in town. I would stay again. Highly recommended! Nothing.

• Jean (10/5): Esperanza Experience - The location was excellent , Amanda was so helpful from the moment we first booked our stay up until we left. Not so easily accessible for my wife who has knee issues, but they are in the process of improving this. Can’t wait to see the finished product.
