• Pierre (9/5): - La dame qui nous a accueillis était très gentille. C’est proche de la ville tout en étant à la campagne, donc tranquille. Ils ont une cafétéria près de l’établissement. Nous sommes allés pour le petit-déjeuner et c’était très bien autant pour le service que pour la nourriture. On est retourné le soir pour le dîner et le service n’était pas bon alors nous avons quitté.

• Ray (1/5): NEVER WOULD I STAY HERE AGAIN. - Arrived at 00:30 due to navigational issues after losing my phone around 14:00 the same day. On arrival the hotelier did not answer the door thus preventing me access. I left the premises around 00:50 and rode through the night into France. Hotelier - I believe he purposely did not answer the door due to earlier messages.

• Nicola (1/5): Don’t choose to stay here - it was awful. - Nothing We are sorry to say we had a difficult night's sleep. Reasons : 1. cooking smells from downstrairs entering and staying in the room all night. 2. Uncomfortable bed - possibly because of the narrow hard mattress on a solid board. 3. Noise from outside the room was very loud and woke us up. 4. We could hear the next door room using the toilet in the night. Other than the lack of sleep, We were dissapointed that the bare bulb in the bedside light would not work due to a faulty electrical connection with the socket, the towels are thin and old, there is no shower gel and no hairdryer. On arrival we asked the host if we could get a cup of coffee or a hot drink. She directed us to a cafe 8 minutes walk away. It made us feel very unwelcome. We almost left after paying but decided to stay anyway. We now regret that decision.

• Colin (8/5): Great Overnight Stop - Close to the motorway, but very quiet. Parking right outside. No food but only 5 min walk to a modern bar/café/restaurant. It was only 3 Deg outside but room very warm and comfortable.
• Trevor (8/5): Very good - Very friendly owner and perfect location for travel connections to the main road network if you're driving. As Vitoria-Gasteiz is the capital of the Basque region the preferred language is Euskara and not Castillon Spanish.

• John (7/5): Convenient location, kitchen/dining area was available to guests. - The location was excellent for our travel plans. The WiFi speed wasn't great.
• Alexisk (9/5): Very good place to stay near Vitoria-Gasteiz - Very spacious apartment, good location, tranquil settlement close to Vitoria-Gasteiz. The parking is two steps away from the house. Welcoming host. Communicating in English is problematic.

• Ross (10/5): Good sleep after a long drive. - Out of the main town, nice and quiet. Took some good photos of the village which was pretty. Close to a big bar 5 minute walk. Had evening meal and breakfast friendly and good value. Would have liked a bottle of water in the room as no breakfast served. A bit more sound insulation between rooms. But it is a guest house not a hotel.
• Benjamin (6/5): Simple stay, a little expensive for what it is. - The rooms were clean and simple, just a small desk and bed. The area is right next to a park, quiet, and easy to park at. The big downside is the room smelled like cigarette smoke. My wife is semi-allergic, and it made her eyes itchy and a bit swollen by the morning.

• Helen (9/5): Perfect for an overnight stay to break a journey, unbeatable value for money. - Very spacious room. Bedding and towels of very good quality. Lovely shower. Close to the charming town of Vitoria Gasteiz - park at the underground car park near the cathedral, and try the tapas at PerretxiCo ! The premises seem to be on a flight path (Bilbao ?) and the first plane went over, I think, at 5h30, very low and very loud. This did not bother us too much as we were planning to leave early in any case.
• Verified traveler (10/5): - The property was well cared for, clean and comfortable. Although our Spanish was very limited, the proprietor was very intentive & ensured our stay was enjoyable. A little gem.
• Anne (6/5): Pas vraiment à la campagne. - L’accueil de la propriétaire était très professionel, malgré la barrière de la langue nous avons bien compris ses instructions pour se garer gratuitement à Vitoria. La maison est situé dans un petit village très très proche de l’autoroute! Malchance certainement mais ma nuit fut très mauvaise. Chauffage impossible à arrêter dans la chambre qui donnait malheureusement vers l’autoroute proche et pour essayer de rafraîchir la chambre en ouvrant les fenêtres, nous avons subit les bruits du traffic. De plus notre voisin de chambre s’est endormi avec la télé et l’insonorisation est mauvaise.
