The owners were very friendly and helpful. We couldn’t control the heating in our room. We were a bit chilly first thing in the morning each day.

- Christine (10/5): Nice relaxing stay - Keith and Jane were lovely.
We really enjoyed our few days at the Boathouse.
- jonathan (7/5): A good short break - Clean with a good breakfast. Host was able to give advice on local walks and provided guided maps . Nowhere to leave a bag as I arrived a couple of hours before check in time and had arrived by public transport. Host didn’t seem keen to accommodate this.
- Gillian (8/5): Laugharne is absolutely lovely - Room was nice, breakfast was very good and served with a lovely smile. Our dog even got his own sausage 🥰 and allergies were accommodated kindly despite our booking being last minute.
Laugharne is absolutely lovely with a beautiful walk along the estuary past the castle ruins, providing food for the soul while the fabulous little pizza place in town serves delicious food for the body. Unfortunately being on the main road we could hear heavy traffic even with the window closed.
- Garry's Hols (10/5): Weekend Away - Everything about our stay was perfect, the food, accommodation, and location. Keith and Jane were the perfect hosts. Nothing was too much trouble.
- Tobias (10/5): - Alles perfekt. Super Frühstück. Die Fenster des Zweibetttzimmers ließen sich nicht öffnen...

The accommodation was directly opposite the estuary with a spectacular view of the castle.
Nothing was too much trouble for the owners. some traffic noise from the road during the day but this did not bother us at all.

- Penny (8/5): Very good -
- Philip (9/5): Superb -
- Neil (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely comfortable, clean bed and breakfast with large rooms . Personable but non intrusive hosts. Breakfast cooked to order with local ingredients. Laugharne is a great stop on a West Wales tour and of course for Dylan Thomas enthusiasts and this place fits the bill if you plan to stay there. Nothing really just some feedback, possibly written guidance could be issued to guests to assist in finding the car park at the rear otherwise you may end up paying to stay in the public car park opposite while you seek instructions how to get there. Minor not a complaint!
- Nomates (9/5): Couldn't be better - Love Laugharne and love the Larnies. Keith and Jane were such excellent hosts Nothing
- Robert (9/5): Good value and excellent breakfast. - Central to where we could visit nearby Nothing!
- Louise (10/5): Very comfortable welcoming guest house perfectly located in this captivating village. - Hosts really friendly and helpful, perfect location, brilliant breakfast, very comfortable and genuinely dog friendly. Nothing
- Lucinda (9/5): Excellent accommodation in Dylan Thomas country. - Excellent location for walking around Laugharne. Private parking. Very good wifi. Well appointed rooms with plenty of electric points; umbrella, iron and ironing board, which are unusual in a B & B. Delicious freshly cooked English breakfasts. Very clean. Friendly, informative hosts. Our only suggestion for improvement would be to add some fruit to the breakfast table.
- Frances (9/5): Excellent B&B - The host was very welcoming the room was clean and large. Bathroom clean and had everything needed.
Breakfast was excellent cooked to order. Check in and out easy. Excellent location short walk to pubs restaurants and castle. Short drive to beaches. Would highly recommend this B&B Everything perfect no downside
- Alan (7/5): Good - Proximity 1 bacon wasn't enough and sausage was dry
- Emily (10/5): A hidden gem - The hosts, Jane and Keith, were fantastic!!!
The Boat House is in the perfect spot and allowed us to explore the area and find out more about the famous Dylan Thomas. The B and B is spotless and serve the most amazing breakfast.
We highly recommend this accommodation and will definitely be visiting again.

- David (10/5): Very pleasant 2 day stay. Warm and friendly welcome. Charming and very helpful hosts. Great location for castle touring - Historically interesting and spacious. Spotless and very comfortable Nothing
- Dave (10/5): Exceptional - Breakfast was fine, location perfect, host very friendly and easy going
- Dawn (7/5): Pleasant stay - The room was comfortable with coffee and tea making facilities. Fresh milk was available in a fridge in the dining room. The owners were very pleasant. The breakfast was a bit disappointing. It would have been nice to have had some fresh fruit and yogurt and also muslie (not Alpen). The cooked breakfast wasn't very substantial especially as we were walking the Wales Coast Path and needed a good breakfast to keep us going. We did ask for extra toast which was provided. The cafetiere of coffee was good.
- John (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stuart (10/5): Really good short stay - Jane and Keith are the perfect host. - Everything great. Nothing
- Jodie-leigh. (9/5): Great stay - The owners were so friendly and accommodating. The room was huge! Could have done with a bigger TV.
- Jane (10/5): The hosts made us feel very welcome the breakfast we would highly recommend - Nothing great location
- Brian (10/5): Very friendly hosts, good breakfast freshly cooked. Ideally situated -
- Edwin (8/5): Lovely short stop before going onto work - Breakfast mad to order and lovely. Traffic noise but thats unavoidable
- Dafydd (3/5): Would not go back, and regret the choice. - Nice welcome, the location is great, and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was lovely, and proving real milk for the room hospitality was good. The shower did not work! We did not find that out until the morning, and had to get dressed to report it - by which time it was too late. In addition, there was a dirty sock behind the chest of drawers, and a wotsit between the bed and nightstand (which meant that the room had not been prepped to the standard we expected). When we arrived, the whole place smelled of boiled cabbage.
- Sarah (10/5): A Perfect Stay at The Boat House B&B - From the moment we arrived, the hosts made us feel like old friends—so warm and welcoming! Breakfast was absolutely lovely, with locally sourced ingredients cooked to perfection. Our room was spotless, spacious, and comfortable—impressive, considering we had the smallest one!
The hosts were incredibly knowledgeable about the local area and recommended some fantastic walks. We took their advice and visited Dylan Thomas’ Boathouse, which was a real highlight.
Plenty of parking, making it easy for those driving.
Two great local pubs nearby—one is perfect for an evening meal and The Cross Inn if you want a fab relaxing drink with friendly company after a day of exploring.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Boat House B&B to anyone.
Thank you for a wonderful stay—we’ll definitely be back! Sarah & Neil N/A

The accommodation was spotlessly clean and our room was very spacious, with a really comfortable super king-size bed. Breakfast was generous, with freshly cooked, locally sourced ingredients - all of which set us up for the day ahead. All-in-all, a perfect place for a night away in Laugharne. Nothing

The breakfast served is of exceptional quality, ground coffee, freshly squeezed orange juice, fresh ingredients. Even our dog had his own little plate of sausage. Sorry but loved it all.

From the quality of the towels, bedding and furniture to the tasty locally sourced bacon and eggs, we enjoyed it very much. The lovely hosts made us feel welcome, and gave us space to relax and switch off from busy city life. Being right in the centre of the village was a plus, with a castle and beautiful park out the front door, it was fantastic.

- Lyn (10/5): Warm and Welcoming - I had read the all the fantastic reviews about the boat house, I had the good fortune to find a vacancy, this was 11pm the night before "REALLY SHORT NOTICE I KNOW" we held our breath as we arrived!
