- Davenport (8/5): Disappointing despite the price paid of £399 for one night - location was perfect. Comfortable bed Despite booking through Booking.com, they didn't have our registration down correctly and caused confusion at check-in. We ended up with an accessible room, not ideal as it had an adjoining door to the next room and the gentleman in there was very loud and had the TV on at a high volume at 6am on a Sunday. We also had a wet room, so everywhere got soaked. We had to request a dressing gown as only one was in the room, it never arrived so we had to ask again. Had to request tea and milk for the room as none were left for us. Food and drinks service at breakfast was very slow, I walked out in the end before my coffee came, the wait was in excess of 30-minutes.

- Deedleann (8/5): Quiet and Lovely - This was our first time in London for our 25th wedding anniversary. The hotel is in a safe and convenient location. The decor is quirky and appreciate the hotels history which is reflected in the style. Front desk was very nice but was disappointed that we were not acknowledged as Bonvoy member or our anniversary even though it was on reservation and no upgrade offered. Appreciated being able to drop off luggage early and courtesy call when ready. Room was very nice, bed comfortable and the rainfall shower was amazing. Probably the most quiet hotel we have ever stayed. We ate breakfast three times and I had a glass of wine one afternoon. There is a lot of pressure to use the buffet. Ala cart options extremely limited unless you liked poached eggs. We would have loved just being able to have a scone and coffee. The buffet options were adequate based on the price but the buffet was not ready at least one morning at opening time. Most of the restaurant staff seemed unhappy and didn’t want to be there, with an exception of a young man from Hungary who was very nice. I apologize I did not get his name. He was very good with wine suggestions and always made you feel welcome. Overall the hotel was lovely but given the Autograph tag and price point I just expected a more elevated service.

I am here picking up our youngest from his first year of college. I have not wanted for anything at The Dixon. I have been very comfortable here. The breakfast buffet is great. Lina at the bar is an engaging conversationalist and drink connoisseur. Time to head to my room for my last sleep before heading back to reality.

The food in the bar bad. - The location is close to where we needed to be., unfortunately its not close to the tube network The restaurant was closed for evening food only opened as a breakfast room. The cocktail bar provided bar food. the comfort level was poor as each time the front doors opened a blast of wind ran through the bar eating area. The staff said they coundnt close the doors ad they were fire doors. Very uncomfortable

Bus just outside hotel, easy walk (or bus) to London Bridge station. Breakfast food very good. Had not pre-booked breakfast as was not sure if we were going to eat breakfast at hotel each morning or not. But ate from the breakfast menu each day - delicious food. Probably would have been better if we had pre-booked breakfast when the hotel sent an email beforehand with add-ons - which offered breakfast at a discounted price. Sliding door in bedroom between bathroom and wardrobe. Could only close door on one or the other.

- AJ0291 (6/5): Experience could have been better - Very clean, comfortable bed, great location. Property itself is nice. Staff weren't great. Poor attitudes and when checking in my partner was there before me and the lady behind the desk was very rude to him. Especially as id put in the notes that this was a surprise night stay for him.
- Joanna (9/5): Fantastic - would highly recommend. - The location, service, breakfast, and general atmosphere was fantastic There was nothing we didn’t like. Our only comments were that the twin room we stayed in didn’t have a dressing table/seat with a mirror which wasn’t ideal when trying to put make up on. There also wasn’t a hairdryer (although it may be that we just couldn’t find it!). The hotel was fantastic and the comments are just to reflect what would take a fantastic hotel to a perfect hotel.

- Edward (10/5): Restful and luxurious but tight in the centre of London ! - Beautiful building . Great rooms with lovely showers . Great buffet breakfast . Staff so welcoming and attentive . Also , wonderfully perfumed !!! Loved everything
- Christopher (8/5): Great location and building. Service didn’t meet expectations - Facilities Breakfast plentiful but quality not great We stayed 5 nights but room wasn’t serviced on 3 days. When we called reception someone attended but did half a job eg tea, coffee and water wasn’t replenished.

- Graziela (10/5): Dentro do esperado e necessário - A cama é bem confortável, o banheiro moderno é grande, a quarto de um tamanho adequado e para nós a localização perfeita Os dispositivos de xampu, condicionador e sabonete líquido muito difícil de retirar o líquido. Também teve um dia que retornamos para o hotel às 16:00 e o quarto ainda não tinha sido arrumado

- Clare (10/5): A lovely break away , the hotel was beautiful , the staff very friendly , bar staff and reception staff and the General - Beautiful , historic building , with lots of character. A little far out.
