- Mishaska (9/5): Affordable stay, clean and convenient location. - Easy to walk around town, offered laundry services and the staff was lovely
- Franz (10/5): -
- DEEPRO (10/5): Perfect for travellers looking for a comfortable stay in a family environment - Friendly staff
- Riko (6/5): - The hostel is quiet and the location about 10 minutes from Cusco's centre. It is safe and the beds were alright. The staff was friendly. The hostel is quite old, everything looks like from the 80s. The bathrooms were never really clean (but not extremely dirty either). The mattress was a bit hard for me but otherwise the beds were okay. They don't offer free drinking water.
- Joshua (10/5): - The nicest owner I’ve ever met !! Can really reformed staying here if you just want some peace and quiet.
Really comfortable bed I probably had my best sleep here since I arrived in Peru ( 2 weeks ago )
- Pooja (9/5): - Staff is really good and helpful
- Joshalo (10/5): -
- Aron (8/5): Nice stay with kind staff - Very friendly staff and a very nice breakfast. The table tennis was a highlight as well. The rooms were comfy but quite cold. Luckily there were thick blankets so in the end sleeping was fine

- Brea (9/5): Increíble, ni lo duden en quedarse aca - Muy bien ubicada y fácil de encontrar. Hacía un poquito de frío, pero tenian una estufita chiquita que ayudo
- Savannah (8/5): Good value hostel :) - Very good value, private room with hot water. Kitchen as well if you wanted to cook, hostel is clean and staff is very nice. It’s a bit out of town about a 20 min walk but manageable. Room was cold just because of concrete walls but very warm blankets were given
- Anja (9/5): It’s a brilliant hostel which could do with a little attention here and there. - The house is quirky and charming. The staff is lovely and the breakfast is great. We had a fresh bowl of exotic fruit one morning which was delicious.and the coffee was perfect. The doors were all squeaky and made a lot of noise. The private bathroom was across the hallway.
- Ava (10/5): Exceptional - Genuinely the perfect place to stay for solo travellers, couples or friends, who are looking for somewhere calm and very comfortable, but with plenty of opportunties to meet other travellers over breakfast or in the great shared spaces. The staff are so lovely and accomodating and provide the service of a much more expensive hotel, everywhere is very clean, and the walk to the main square is short and easy.
- Eliza (10/5): Exceptional - It had everything you needed for a great price. The rooms were slightly older but they were clean and comfy. The breakfast was basic but good.
- Natali (10/5): Fantastiskt hostel - Fantastik hostel! Väldigt hjälpsam personal när det kom till att vi skulle trivas och ge tips på vad man kan se i staden. Jättegod hemmalagad frukost. Rummet och badrummet var fräscht och bekvämt. Njutbar vistelse för vår del.
- Ellen (10/5): Cusco trip, Nov 2024 - Lovely, quiet family-run hostel in Cusco in a convenient location. We stayed here before and after doing the 4 day Inca Trail and the hostel kept our additional luggage for free while we were gone. We also had 10kg of laundry after the trek which they amazingly got washed and dropped back to us on the same day. The included breakfast is basic but sets you up for the day. The hostel is located 10-15 mins from the Old Town and there are multiple shops, pharmacies and restaurants near by. The staff are very attentive, the rooms are cleaned daily and the beds are very comfortable. The kitchen is on the smaller side but is adequate.
- Lucia (9/5): Fantastic comfortable stay! - Very friendly and helpful staff, the owner is wonderful! Our private room was very comfortable, clean and warm. Best showers in Peru, hot and amazing pressure. Great breakfast made fresh. A cosy place that feels like home. A little far from the main square however this was not a problem for us, the walk is easy.
- Ridge (8/5): Very good -
- Giorgio (7/5): Good quiet hostel for a short stay - Very quiet hostel with included breakfast. There was almost always hot water and the beds are big. Rooms are very basic and not very soundproof, the hostel is clean overall except some bathrooms that had ants.
- Kathryn (8/5): Comfortable and Very Affordable! - A true budget family-owned hostel in a great area that is only about 10 minutes (all level!) walk to the main square. Our room was simple but very comfortable, with a nice simple breakfast (fresh juice, tea, bread, jam), and a wonderful host.
- Leah (7/5): Lovely family run place for a quiet stay and early morning activities - The beds are comfy and the rooms a good size, there is a nice area to chill out and watch Netflix and it’s quiet so a good area for getting up early for trips that start early It’s a little far out from main attractions and often you’re asked not to shower or that the showers aren’t working, which can be difficult, not easy to meet people as it’s so quiet
- Albina (3/5): not what was expected - location dirty grey ripped towels, squiking flor, everything is too old.
- Aleksandra (10/5): Exceptional - The best part about this place is definitely the staff - they’re very helpful, eager to give any recommendations you need, always ask how your day was and if there’s anything they can do for you. They can also book tours for you for a really good price. The room was great - very clean, with everything we needed. Hot showers. Great breakfast, something new every day and if you have to leave early for a tour they’ll provide you with a lunchbox. Cheap and quick laundry service. Friendly, peaceful atmosphere. Everything was great:)
- Dom (7/5): Good - Comfy beds, breakfast was good. Shower was only hot 50% of the time and the walls were very thin
- Kimberly (8/5): Very good - Staff here was accomodating and helpful. Room was comfortable and breakfast simple but delicious. The tours they work with are great, my husband and I did the City Tour which included ruin visits as well as the ATV Tour where we saw Moray and Maras.
- Shannon (8/5): Comfortable, easy walk to Cusco - The room we had was very comfortable, and there were stands to put bags on which made things easy. The morning breakfast was really pleasant in a brightly lit room as well with friendly fellow travelers. It was an easy walk into Cusco for exploring around. It was a little noisy in the morning in the room we had because a vent in the bathroom connected to the breakfast room.
- Thomas (6/5): Pleasant -
- Meenu (6/5): Pleasant -
- Lois (10/5): Amazing staff - Amazing staff who helped organise our sacred valley tour. We were able to book an extra night easily too. The room and bathrooms were clean. The location was great for us to get to the main square and other areas we wanted to visit.
- Till (4/5): Disappointing - - no hot showers
- windows with no blinds
- Akira (10/5): Exceptional -
- Georgia (10/5): A lovely and friendly stay - My second stay here in Cusco, and I booked another couple of nights on arriving. Super spacious room, and big lockers too. The staff are really welcoming and are genuinely happy to help with anything, they’re really going out of their way to make sure you feel comfortable and that you have everything you need. A short walk from the centre, but sooo worth it!
- Holly (10/5): Exceptional -
- Holly (10/5): Exceptional - The staff are very friendly, offer storage of bags and are accomodating of late check ins/early departures.
- Christina (7/5): Great except the shower/water - We had a private room with convenient shelves to take our belongings out which was nice. The beds were comfy with lots of warm blankets. The location was great- felt safe. Less then 15min to walk to the main square and great cheap pizza around the corner. The hosts were so welcoming! The shower in our room wasnt great and didnt have enough water for a shower one evening... had to wait 1hr to have one... but this seemed like a common thing in Cusco.
- Aksel (10/5): Nice hostel for backpackers - Nice hostel for backpackers. Friendly and serviceminded staff.
- Eleanor (10/5): Lovely, homely, comfy hostel with friendly staff - Very comfy beds and a homely hostel. Private bathroom was clean and had hot water. Very friendly and helpful staff, they helped us to arrange several safe taxis and stored our luggage for free whilst we were on the Inca Trail. Breakfast was delicious. Kitchen had the essentials. Quiet hostel but still met lots of other travellers! The kitchen was small and basic - no oven and only 2 hobs. But the kitchen was always available when we needed - it would have been tricky if others were using it
- Darek (7/5): I would recommend, but mind the distance if you want to stay few minutes away from the action - Very nice staff and we had a bonus 3rd bed in our bedroom. Spacious bedroom. Nice courtyard area and breakfast room (small though). Big common room (we didn’t use it) Definitely little further from Plaza de Armas than we wanted to stay. 15 minutes walk, but 10 minutes via busy one way street where it’s hard to pass pedestrians on a tiny sidewalk. Also last part of the walk definitely doesn’t count as a DT area. Would not feel safe walking when dark.
First day we had a nice breaky with buns, jam, tea & coffee + omelette. Delicious
2nd day no omelette… which was strange. When asked the owner why - she could explain - just happen. I didn’t want to continue investigate, not to make her feel bad, because she’s lovely.
It more feels like a home stay with many rooms than a lodge/hostel.
- Anja (8/5): I would come back again 😊 - Very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Each staff member even knew my name and the names of the rest of the guests which makes you feel at home..
I had 3 stays at this hostel during my time in Peru. All rooms were a little different but beds were always very confortable & bathrooms very clean and with hot water.
The hostal is located in a residential part of Cusco with good and cheap restaurants nearby. The walk to the historical city center takes just 10 min. Everything was fine. Some rooms recently renovated others a bit older and would require a new touch of colour. But no real critical pointl As it is family owned hostel it is normal that renovation goes step by step.
- Hema (10/5): Amazing! Highly recommend - Very nice, welcoming staff happy to help with everything. Good kitchen. Great breakfast included. Spacious bathrooms. Storage room was really helpful. Very clean and organised. Would definitely recommend!!!
- Dyanith (8/5): Very good hostel choice - Helpful and friendly staff. Speak English if needed. Some good restaurant options nearby. Laundry service. Location is a little out from center but some tourists groups can still pick you up from this location which was helpful.
Rooms are a bit chilly (no control of temperature) and breakfast is very simple.
- Gráinne (10/5): Exceptional - It was a comfortable, relaxing place to stay. Staff were friendly and very helpful. A small breakfast included in the price. There's also lots of nice areas to chill. Not a party hostel which is exactly what we wanted. Daily house keeping, very clean in general.
- Conor (10/5): Exceptional - Great location a short walk from Plaza de Armas and near lots of restaurants, rooms were very comfortable and cleaned daily, lots of common space to chill and chat to other travellers, the staff were all super nice and helpful with advice and could arrange tours if you wanted Had to pay by cash, which was unclear from the description on here - not a big deal just something to be aware of
- Bettina (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect stay in Cusco!
Javier and Janeth are so nice and helpful, very quick in answering emails and finding solutions.
Breakfast is delicious, every day something different. Tours are offered. The big house is very comfy, rooms are spacious and quiet, the kitchen well equipped, there are big lockers. Very good vibe!
The location is excellent, close to San Blas (restaurants) and the centre.
Will come again. Thanks!! -
- Jessica (10/5): Exceptional - Javier went out of his way to help make our time in Cusco great! The staff are all really friendly and the rooms are very clean. It is around a 10-15 minute walk to the main square and a small breakfast is included in the morning. The beds are very warm and comfortable. We ended up staying here on 3 different occasions as we liked it so much and because of Javier’s amazing hospitality. Would definitely recommend!
- Jörg, (10/5): Great place to stay in Cusco - For staying in Cusco it is a perfect place. It has breakfast, 24h reception and great staff. Especially changing when changing my reservation dates and extended my stay, I received flexibility and they gave me a good price. The Hostel is small and cozy. Not a party hostel which I do prefer.
- Niamh (9/5): Superb - The room was lovely with a nice bathroom. The shower was hot. The staff were very helpful and breakfast was really good. The hostel also has a recreation room with games. The room was a little cold at night.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Accueil chaleureux et familial. Parfait si vous voyagez seule. A 15mn du centre. Petit dejeuner copieux.
