La responsable est extrêmement accueillante et attentionnée, toujours aux petits soins, ce qui rend le séjour encore plus agréable. La chambre était impeccable, conforme en tout point au descriptif et aux photos : aucune mauvaise surprise, bien au contraire. Un très bel hôtel que je recommande sans hésitation ! Ci hanno anche consentito di tenere i bagagli in deposito prima del check-in! Le camere erano pulite, il letto spazioso, il frigo bar era gratuito e ci è servito tanto perché la notte avevamo sete. Unico neo è che quando abbiamo prenotato non avevamo letto da nessuna parte che per entrare ci sarebbe stato dato un codice d’accesso, pochi giorni prima l’ho letto sul sito del check in ma tra l’altro il giorno stesso non mi era nemmeno arrivato il codice, se non ci fosse stata la signora a pulire non saremmo riusciti ad entrare. Per di più la sera quando siamo rientrati in camera non avevamo il codice per aprire il portone principale e abbiamo dovuto aspettare che ci rispondessero, fortuna vuole che sempre la signora il giorno prima ci aveva dato un codice per accedere il giorno dopo a prendere i bagagli. Se posso dare un consiglio migliorerei questo sistema d’accesso e lo renderei più chiaro per i clienti. Per il resto non possiamo lamentarci, siamo stati molto bene.

Les hôtes ont été super efficaces, l'appartement spacieux et propre. Nous aurions apprécié connaitre la suite avant de réserver, car les images portent à croire qu'on a vu sur la lagune.... Par ailleurs, en entrant l'appartement dans google maps pour le trouver, des tarifs nettement mons chers nous ont été proposés, cela m'a contrarié d'avoir payé un prix beaucoup plus élevé.

• AleMay (9/5): Bella struttura con vista impagabile - Posizione fantastica, con vista sulla laguna proprio di fronte a San Giorgio. La struttura è ben curata, pulita, arredata con gusto ed è facilmente accessibile (bisogna comunque salire una scala di ingresso, come succede praticamente sempre a Venezia). Le stanze sono ampie e luminose, corredate dell'occorrente per preparare una colazione di base. Viene offerta una bottiglietta d'acqua ogni giorno. Il personale, gentile e disponibile, non è sempre fisicamente presente, ma è comunque contattabile per ogni necessità. Abbiamo avvertito solo la mancanza di una scrivania d'appoggio e, forse, di una poltrona che fosse più accogliente delle poltroncine -pur belle- che c'erano nella nostra camera.

I thought the view is like what they show in the booking with nice beautiful sea view and street, in fact, only the public area window has this view.

• Kathleen (10/5): Best housekeeper! - The bed was very comfortable; coffee and tea, along with small muffins were provided. The hotel is waterfront and close to many sites. Housekeeper Mary Beth was fantastic, going above and beyond in her daily cleaning and always making sure we had water before we ventured out for the day. She also worked to fix the room safe and insured we had an umbrella when we left in the rain. The only suggestion is to add a small trashcan in the room (besides the one in the bathroom). A few decaffeinated tea bags for the evening would be a nice addition. The muffins provided were past the freshness date by about two weeks. The TV hanging on the wall blocked an already very narrow walkway around the bed.

Ha diverse stanze, io per scelta ho preso una camera piccola che comunque aveva tutto lo spazio sufficiente e un bagno eccellente. Le stanze più grandi immagino siano ancora meglio. Lo staff è stato di una gentilezza e disponibilità notevole. La prossima volta a Venezia tornerò qui. Nulla.

• Scott (10/5): We are definitely coming back again as the whole experience was made even more magical by our stay here. - We loved the room, the view & the location was perfect for us. A short distance from the vaporetta stop. The bar downstairs was excellent for morning coffee & croissants & evening drinks to watch the sunset. Barbara was extremely helpful & attentive helping to organise water taxis & arranging for flowers & champagne in our room on arrival to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. Marybeth kept our room spotlessly clean with a supply of pastries every morning. There was nothing we didn’t like it was beautiful.

Im kleinen Café u terhalb von Porta da Mar bietet wahrscheinlich den schönsten Frühstücksplatz in Venedig an Das Bett war ein wenig zu groß und wenn man das Badezimmer in der Nacht aufsuchen musste, lief man Gefahr in den an der Wand hängenden Fernseher zu laufen.

• Johanna (10/5): - Ich war zwei Tage mit Baby in Porta da mar und war begeistert. Die Lage der Unterkunft ist top, Markusplatz in 15 min zu Fuß erreichbar, sehr viele nette Lokale in der unmittelbaren Umgebung. DIe Kommunikation war auch toll, wir konnten schon im Vorfeld Fragen klären und haben Infos zur Umgebung, Tipps, etc bekommen. Vor Ort wurden wir sehr freundlich empfangen, da unser Zimmer schon fertig war, konnten wir sogar schon früher einchecken. Auch Gepäckaufbewahrung am Tag der Abreise war kein Problem. Das Zimmer wurde zwischendurch auch nochmal gereinigt und das Personal war extrem freundlich, herzlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer war toll ausgestattet, Waserkocher, Kühlschrank, kostenlose Snacks & Getränke, Bügeleisen, Babybett - alles was man braucht war da. Alles wirkte neu ausgestattet, auch das Bad war sehr schön und sauber. Es war sehr ruhig in der Nacht. Aufgrund einer Veranstaltung hielten die Vaporetti für zwei Tage nicht an der Haltestelle bei der Unterkunft, wodurch längere Fußweg notwendig waren. So eine Info wäre vorab sehe hilfreich gewesen, das wäre aber nur dad Tüpfelchen auf dem i gewesen, sonst war alles perfekt.

• Eleanor (8/5): Excellent location. - Location is excellent - easy walking distance to architecture biennale. Very nice room with comfortable bed and kettle and fridge. Bathroom was nice. Host was very communicative and welcoming. Access to building/ rooms is via website app- fine for us but I imagine more difficult for people who don’t have access to data or smart phones. Our room was accessed via the lobby and opposite the main door to the floor and was therefore quite noisy - could hear people talking and cleaners etc.

Very ckose to an adjacent ferry terminal. No real issue, stairs are hard with luggage but that is regular in Venice.
