• Hewertson (8/5): Good place to stay - Breakfast N/A Location was reasonable. Heating good. Some areas could have been cleaner. The bench felt sticky. the groove where the bench rises could have been cleaner. Lolly paper under bedside table. One bedside table needed cleaning

• Sharon (6/5): We love the town and the walk to the main shops and eateries was not far. The walk to the main supermarket was a long di - Lovely views out on the veranda and the area was nice quiet. The walk to the main shops didn’t take long. The property seems very tired and although it has been cleaned it just didn’t feel clean.
• Carolyn (9/5): house was great for a group of 5 girls for a weekend away. - Location was good and quiet street. Could walk to town easily, only a 5min walk. Free wifi was great. Couldn't get the water hot enough in the spa to use which was a shame
• Catriona (8/5): Great accommodation for several couples or 4-5 single people. Well set up and good facilities. - Property was a short walk to town and had a lovely view. We felt that the bathroom and ensuite let the property down. While clean, they were in need of upgrading. Main bathroom had a shower over the bath and the shower curtain was too long and couldn't avoid standing on it while showering. This really is a health & safety concern as a trip hazard and also not really that hygienic. Other than that the property was great and I would recommend as a place to stay.

• Kate (7/5): Good - Liked the convenient location. The property needs some minor maintenance internally eg loose door handles, taps and towel rails all need tightening.
• Geoff (5/5): Okay - Clean Garden needs pruning entrance pathway overgrown access difficult. Shower in bathroom needs to be replaced. Not easy to access. Toiletries were lacking for 5 people.

• Anonymous (10/5): A special place for an 80th birthday. - The property was lovely. The views magnificent and clean. The garden is not fully fenced which meant the dogs could not go out alone as there was a cat around. The garden was beautiful and well maintained. It was a lo Ely place to celebrate my 80th birthday The en-suite bathroom caused a nasty fall for me as the rail by the toilet came away from the wall a as I jumped away from it I slipped and banged my head on the glass shelf. The shower was a bit tempremental to say the least and the the plug hole was rusted up. I have a painful head which has bothered me. Please take care over the wiring behind the bed as it is badly coiled and you could not put a socket in without the risk of splitting the wires.

• Maike (9/5): Ideal for larger groups. Comfortable, warm and well equipped. - Warmth of the house, quiet location and well equipped kitchen Not being told about ants in the kitchen. I do understand how difficult it is to keep them out, but would have been more careful not leaving sweet items out. Was described as fully fenced, which wasn’t the case.
• Tara (10/5): Exceptional - Great place to rent. Lovely and clean warm and close to town. Would recommend this house to stay Luckily we brought our own tea and coffee. As there were only a few bags. But that didn't matter
• Vincent (8/5): Will consider staying again. - Although there were some hiccups during check in, but Hosts are responsive and get things resolved. Cosy and quiet. Views. Nothing.
• Joe (10/5): Beautiful and relaxing venue in great location - The location is away from the strip, gently elevated yet within easy reach of the town. The views of the mountains are gorgeous. The inside is spacious functional comfy and clean. The outside is just lovely and there is ample seating for relaxing and eating. It's just got a lovely vibe to it.

• Julie (9/5): Comfy, spacious, and easy walking distance into Kaikoura. - Spacious and comfortable, variety of games and puzzles Fridge smelt very fishy - everything we put in there adopted the smell 😔. But everything else was great!
