Brought a new hairdryer to us instantly when advised that ours did not work. Also provided iron upon request. I would not state that it has a balcony. More like a ledge for 1 person to stand on.

• Paola (7/5): Little charming and central hotel with big and comfortable rooms - The room was very big and it had everything you would need. There was free coffee and tea and some crackers for breakfast. Also there was water. The bed was good but not excellent. And the toilet was very big and comfortable, as well as the terrace. The only two downsides for me were the bad smell coming out of the toilet and that there is not parking place and we had to pay a lot for the parking.

• Alilia (5/5): nice location but our room did not satisfy us - location in the center of the city, recently renovated with modern and designer furnishings I was very disappointed because our room had no windows. The only source of natural light was part of the bathroom ceiling. I get claustrophobic just thinking about it
• Francesca (10/5): Exceptional - If I could give it a score of 11/10 I would, we were sad we only had one night there. Our room had every possible comfort, location is perfect. All instructions for check in and out are super clear. Only thing is missing a window, but the Aircon was working perfectly.
• Klaas-tido (9/5): Great, central and very comfortable place for a visit of Rethymno - Beautiful large room with a comfortable bed and a great bathroom area. Everything in the room was well thought though. Right next to the old town and the harbor with all their bars and restaurants. While the room has good windows, they are not perfect and the street can be a bit noisy at night. But that’s to be expected in such a central location. While the pre-arrival information concerning the parking was great, there was no one at the reception when we arrived and we hadn’t received any check-in information. So we had to call to get the code to the key safe. Also, there was nobody there when we checked out and we had to ask for instructions.

There was a leak of water on the drainage in the toilet room floor. Nothinng really worrying but a bit annoying when you want to use the WC.

• Carrie (8/5): Very comfortable and good value for the money. - It was small, but modern and very clean. It had everything we needed, plus a hairdryer. I liked the separate toliet and shower I was disappointed with the balcony, as it was too small to sit out on.

Overall the stay was very comfortable It’s just above a kebab shop, which felt slightly odd. The room had no windows and so couldn’t be ventilated. Internet would cut out occasionally.

• Laura (10/5): Beautiful hotel to stay at. - The location was perfect. Couple of meters to the beach, bunch of restaurants near by, the neighbourhood looked pleasant. The host was extremely friendly and helpful. Our room looked newly renovated and was spot on clean. There even was a little present waiting for us! Considering the price the place is certainly money's worth. Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in Rethymnon. And if I'm ever visiting Rethymnon again I would know where to stay at. :) No complaints. Our stay was quite perfect.

• Verified traveler (10/5): - Absolutely beautiful with a modern design. The pictures do not do it justice. I stayed here alone and felt completely safe and content. Kostas was very welcoming and went the extra mile to contact me and wait for my arrival (as reception is not manned 24hours), he offered me a map and advice of places to visit/eat during my short stay. The hotel is a stones throw from the harbour and beach and there’s a number of shops, restaurants, historic sites in the old town. The taxi rank is a short distance away which also came in handy. If I ever find myself in that area again I will absolutely stay here again.
• Verified traveler (10/5): - My second stay at Ark 68. Its a really cute small hotel in a stunning location - minutes walk to heart of old town and seconds to the sea.
