• C5156ZAmw (8/5): Friendly Staff and Comfortable Room, Hoping for a Quieter Next Visit - I stayed one night at the Courtyard near Sanford Hospital while visiting my godson, who was born prematurely. The room was clean, the bed and pillows were very comfortable, and I appreciated the bright lighting and multiple mirrors since good lighting is important for my vision. There were many kids in the hotel for what seemed like a hockey event, and they were loud in the halls until around 10 p.m., which made it difficult to rest. I had to turn the TV up quite a bit to drown out the noise. Despite that, the staff were very friendly, and the woman at the Starbucks counter made me a great hot drink. I do plan to stay again, as my godson will be in the hospital until about June. Hopefully my next visit will be quieter.

• CRoadTripper (8/5): Nice Stay - Loud Air System - This is a really nice hotel, good location, very spacious and clean. We had a suite that was fantastic! Super roomy and comfortable. Very nicely decorated. Comfy beds and plenty of storage. My only compliant: you cannot shut off the fan in the AC unit. It runs constantly for "air flow" per the front desk. It is LOUD and makes the room chilly. Hated that part. I had to put earplugs in when I slept because it was so loud. Other than that, it was nice. There is a bar, seating outside to lounge around, the ability to order breakfast or dinner in the lobby. VERY nice staff. My only hesitance to stay again is that dang loud fan!

• Kim (6/5): overpriced for what they provide - staff were freindly room was really small, said on my reservation "for 3 adults, 2 children" that is absolutely not accurate. Went down stairs to get a hot coffee and a hot tea, NEITHER was available. Since there was no micro in the room, no way to have a hot tea.

• micstebou (10/5): Very nice hotel at The Sanford Fargo Medical Center - Located on the Fargo Medical Center Grounds, near the interstate. The good: Very nice, clean hotel. The rooms have built in furniture and other furniture that have an asymmetric geometric pattern. A cool vibe. There is a small breakfast bar in the morning with Starbucks Coffee and a cocktail bar and some dinner foods in the evening. The staff was very friendly and informative. Very convenient to the interstate if passing through, or to the Sanford Medical Center if you need to visit there. Close to a few restaurants and shopping including Costco The not so good: There is not an included breakfast that would usually be expected in similar hotels. You can buy an included limited breakfast with your booking if you want. Overall, a very nice place to stay.

• ScandiScot (10/5): Caring Staff and Convenient to Hospital - Over the course of nearly two weeks, fluctuating numbers of my immediate family stayed here while my mother was hospitalized at Sanford Medical Center. While the proximity to the hospital made it the logical choice, it was the flexibility of the staff that, in retrospect, made it a wise choice as well. Front desk staff were so kind to help us consolidate rooms, cancel reservations WITHOUT PENALTY for nights that we no longer needed, and just generally get to know us and let us know that they were thinking about us. In particular, Misty Blue gets a huge shout out for being such a kind, caring front desk staff member. She sort of adopted us and asked how things were going, let us know that she was thinking about us, and just generally was a wonderful human being. On a lighter note, the hotel bistro/bar was great for a quick breakfast before heading to the hospital or a nightcap after a stressful day AT the hospital. The beds were comfortable too-including the rollaway cot that I slept on one night.

He seriously was a delight - just how he smiled and seemed to enjoy his job genuinely made me see the good in the hotel. Our key didn't work, but by the time I got up to the room with a new key, he was peeking around the corner by the stairs to ensure we were satisfied. The room was clean and comfortable. There was adequate parking, and everything was well-lit.
• paulnF367KM (10/5): Awesome stay and staff - Our stay at The Courtyard Fargo was nothing less than spectacular. The facilities are updated and clean, and the staff are very friendly. But the real magic of our stay was Misty Blue. She is worth one thousand people! We wanted to check out early from a different hotel because of multiple bad experiences; and after reading many reviews of the Fargo Courtyard mentioning Misty Blue, I called the Courtyard to make a reservation. Misty answered the phone, and she was very compassionate about my situation and made me feel valued. I asked if she could have a room ready for me to check in at 12:30 pm that same day. She made the arrangements necessary and more. Words can not express my gratitude to Misty. She is a genuinely kind and compassionate person. She truly cares about the people who stay at her hotel and wants a great experience for them. She is humble and attributes the success of the Courtyard to the general manager, Emily Nielsen, who models the same customer service that she expects as the standard. The people working at the Courtyard Fargo is what makes this hotel this hotel truly special.

• Road708653 (4/5): We won’t be returning - Small room, Small refrigerator, no microwave, expensive for what you get. I had a great night sleep, but in the morning, I went down to the desk to get a hotcup of coffee. I didn’t see any complementary coffee in the lobby. When I asked the man at the desk about that, he pointed to the Starbucks in the lobby and said “we sell coffee over there.” I said “I’ve never been to a Hotel that did not serve complimentary coffee.” He said that This agreement, was part of their Starbucks contract. And that the population that their business plan was modeled for were people traveling for work and who had their bosses paying for their coffee. Well, I replied I’ll remember that the next time I’m choosing a hotel.“ I won’t be choosing this one again. It’s not that I couldn’t afford my coffee at Starbucks. It’s that this hotel was not designed for me.

She everything you want from the front desk. She has a great personality that made me feel very welcomed and accommodating. This is my go to hotel in Fargo.
• Ginger (5/5): Check in is 3:00pm! Don’t stay here they don’t care - New Tried to check into our room at 5:30pm and they said our room wasn’t ready! Said they would call us when it was ready but they never did. So returned at 10pm and then was able to check in.

Either freezing or to hot and stuffy. No in between. The bistro is handy but found the price for portion size a bit high.

We were here for a week for a hockey tournament and the amenities at the hotel were great with plenty of room in lobby and a large gym, a nice pool. A great restaurant with great food. The service was exceptional! Misty Blue ATT he front desk was wonderful!

The only two criticisms we have are that there is no reason for the significantly higher price as compared to other chain hotels in this location and the way the room is configured we heard (loud and clear) every toilet flush in the rooms above and below and adjacent.

• 375stane (10/5): Excellent Stay! Recommended highly. - Excellent stay. Clean, comfortable, amazingly friendly and helpful staff. The bar / snack bar was excellent as was the availability and array of available snacks from the hotel mini-store.. The rooms are clean and comfortable with all the amenities one would expect from a quality hotel. The Courtyard Marriott is now my first choice when I visit Fargo (at least 3 or 4 times a year).

• kellysL7868QP (10/5): AMAZING!!! - Misty Blue at the front desk was so helpful with all of our needs and very pleasant. She helped us find a cart for our luggage when we first arrived as there were not any up front in the entrance. She also personally showed us to where the pool was. As well as helping us buy snacks from up front and providing us with stay recipts. Keegan in the bistro also was super friendly and helpful! He had great food recommendations. He also helped my husband find a lighter so he could smoke a cigarette out front. And served us delicious food.

• jenlheintz (10/5): So nice! - It was a one night stay..in town for a funeral. Such a friendly greeting by Akin! He was so helpful with my questions!! Super clean hotel, comfy, quiet. Cool design to the room, fridge included. Beautiful bathroom and nice shower too!

• christi (8/5): Nice hotel - Great hotel in a nice area. The only thing that knocked down the score was a strange smell in the bathroom. Kept the door shut. Very nice room otherwise.

• Navigator487610 (8/5): Caring Staff Makes all the Difference - I misplaced my wallet (with keys attached) and Mistie Blue at the front desk was extremely helpful and empathetic. She took down my information, let me know that there were security cameras in the parking lot, and got it back to me immediately after it was located by housekeeping. The person at the front desk the night before had been extremely rude and unhelpful in helping me find the wallet. This person didn't offer to take down my information and wouldn't let me back into the pool area to look for it. This person dismissed me by saying they needed to "get back to work". I have never been so rudely treated at a hotel, particularly when I was desperately needing some help. I waited until the shift change to ask again for any help. Mistie Blue was a breath of fresh air the next day. She truly cared about my situation and made me feel like a valuable customer and person. She makes your hotel an even lovelier place to stay. The other person should be let go...

Professional, courteous, great customer service and just amazing! She is a keeper! Thank you Misty Blue for taking such great care of me during my stay!!

Our Dad is staying at the Hospital and things have been chaotic but she has been kind and helpful and extremely polite to us through it all. We felt like we mattered to her and she helped ease a lot of stress we had. This made me feel extra grateful especially after I was told by Lane to just go sleep on a floor. Please recognize her. She has made it so I will always come back and also I have recommended this hotel for my family and friends for future stays Thank you Misty Blue

• Sonya (9/5): Superb - Beautiful, clean room. New hotel. My favorite part was that they had washable headboard cover slips (I always end up sanitizing the headboards before I get into bed so I was very impressed with this concept as I didn't need to sanitize this one).
• Love (10/5): MY STAY WAS AMAZING AS ALWAYS. THIS PLACE IS MY NUMBER BOOKING WHENVER I AM IN FARFO - I LEFT MY WORK LAPTOP IN THE ROOM I STAY IN FOR 3 DAYS. THE STAFF SAVE IT AND I WAS ABLE TO GET IT MAIL TO ME (I PAY FOR THE MAILING FEE). I DIDNT LIKE THAT MY FOOD (SOUP) I HAD IN THE FRIDGE WAS TAKEN OUT AND SET ON TOP MY SUITCASE BECAUSE I WAS SUPPOSED TO CHANGE ROOM AND IT DIDNT HAPPEN.
• Vitaliy (8/5): Very good - Modern hotel in a convenient location with a very nice-equipped gym, small pool and a whirlpool. Breakfast is not a buffet and served per dish from the hotel bistro bar. Dishes are well made and tasty but a bit pricey, especially if you are with kids. No microwaves in rooms, so you'll have to use the only microwave available in the lobby.
