Sometimes we can read in descriptions that apartment has beach front location, but many times that is just text. With apartment Torresol 402 is different- it’s literally on the beach, you are sitting in balcony and sandy beach in under! We enjoyed both sunrises and sunsets from there. Apartment is spacious, super clean, equipped. 5 -10 min walk till old town of Nerja, one of the most beautiful towns of Andalusia. And most importanti- super helpful and friendly people hosting the apartment. Thanks Ainara!

A little bit of information about how to access the pool area. Some bedside tables instead of wonky floating shelves. Cushions for the patio chairs would have also been nice.

Pool/beach towels were also provided. Amazing balcony, overlooking the sea … a wonderful spot to sit snd listen to the sea! Although there is a pool we never went there as the beach was too inviting. Lovely restaurant on the beach too. Overall, it was a big spacious apartment in a wonderful location…. We just loved it! Would have preferred fitted sheets… flat sheets don’t work well over a mattress. Also, the iron was dirty so we could not iron our clothes. And a shower tray in the shower would be nice… rather than leaving shampoo, soap etc on the floor of the shower…Just a couple of little things that did not impact on our holiday!

• Chris (9/5): Beautiful apartment just missing a couple of details - We had stayed in this building before and were thrilled to book an end unit with a full water view. Comfortable bed and we appreciated a decent supply of towels. Kitchen is stocked for basic cooking, but no serving dishes. The “sun room” was a great spot for the drying rack. As mentioned in the other reviews, the furniture is sparse- one sectional sofa and no other seating. I am not a fan of cluttered spaces, but this beautiful apartment could easily be a 10+ with just a little attention to decor and comfort.
• Debra (7/5): Lovely apartment with great views but beware building work! - Location was excellent. Fabulous balcony overlooking the beach. Apartment is spacious and was clean and well equipped. Getting into the apartment was a bit of a rigmarole. We had to phone the host as hadn't heard from them, was then sent a video of how to get into the building. Was told the cleaner would let us in but there was nobody there so had to call again to be let in. There was building work in the apartment below us. Arrived to very loud drilling which was vibrating the walls. Queried with host who said she wasn't aware of any work and would get back to us - but she didn't. Although it wasn't as bad on subsequent days there was still hammering and banging throughout our stay which spoilt the peace and quiet. Appreciate we were staying out of season and refurbishment work has to happen at some time. But feel we could have at least been warned and maybe the price reduced because of the inconvenience.

We did have an infestation of ants in the kitchen which was a little off putting but as we ate out all the time it didn’t really bother us .

• Amrita (10/5): Location! It’s the room with a view if all one wants is a great beach holiday!! - The flat does have the most amazing location! You’re practically living right on the beach!! Sitting in the balcony with a drink overlooking the beach is probably the best seat you can get in Nerja. It’s a very clean, newly re-furbished property with all the basic mod cons that you need for a holiday. It’s also really close to all the local pubs, restaurants and supermarkets so that’s very helpful. If only they can add a dishwasher to the kitchen utilities and also perhaps a floor or table lamp in the living room! It will just add that extra bit to the space😀

• Marie (8/5): Most enjoyable stay. - We really loved the location of the apartment. The apartment itself is really bright and airy. Didn't need to use much aircon even though it was very hot. Ainara was very good at communicating and bought cushions for balcony furniture at our request. Extremely kind of her. No sunbeds around the pool. Would have been perfect if there was. The beach chairs provided in the apartment didn't suit our age. So couldn't use for pool or beach. A big minus for us. But they are adequate for younger than us.
• The_girl_wanderer (8/5): Very good - It was literally beachfront. You go down the building you are in the beach. The two balconies just make it feel like you are on the beach without being on it. We had to leave one day early because of the weather. But none of that is the accommodation's fault.

• Knut (8/5): Overall very good. - Overall good. I got no information about transport from Malaga to Torrecilla, which meant I had to take and ordinary taxi, ekstra cost 30 euro. Sunbeds are broken and need to be replaced.
• Veronica (10/5): Excellent apartment and host. Strongly recommend this apartment - The host was expectional. Very obliging. When we arrived at the apartment we phoned and she accessed the front door and same to apartment door. The apartment was beautiful and so well equiped strongly recommend it Northing. I advised that the sun loungers were broken and she said she was not aware and that they would be replaced and I do believe that Ainara is a person of her word.
• John (10/5): Fantastic - Overlooking the beach, this gorgeous property is a dream for a holiday. It is spotlessly clean, with all of the amenities you could wish for. The bed was extremely comfortable. Everything is excellent. There are works going on on the beach below which generates some noise but that is to be expected during the winter period in preparation for the spring/summer.
• John (5/5): Opportunity missed - better entry process, few more creature comforts & welcome pack needed - Good facilities, good location We could not get into the building, no porter on duty. You need an internet & phone connection to receive an email with a phone number to get into the apartment, which we couldn't get. This might work if you hadn't just arrived from the UK and the porter was there to let you in. We only got in because other people were very kind to let us into the building, and the neighbour allowed us to connect to their wi-fi and phoned the number given in the booking info for us. The apartment's internet wasn't working when we first got in and we didn't get the message with the correct phone number until early evening. To reiterate, no information on how to get into the building on arrival was provided at any time. The pavement on the seafront footpath immediately under the main balcony was being repaired/extended, with building machinery in operation from 08.00 to 16.00 on work days. There is nowhere comfortable to sit in the apartment or on the balcony. With the hard seating provided a few cushions would make a lot of difference. For the cost, a small welcome pack with basics such as water, milk, bread, coffee etc would have made a great difference. There is no parking at the building, this didn't affect us but would be a pain if you have a car.
• James (8/5): Very enjoyable stay despite strong winds during our entire stay and could not use balconies. - The apartment, location and proximity to the centre of the town was very convenient. On the phone the host was helpful and said we could take contact if we needed anything. The internet worked very well. The rooms were a good size and the double bed was very comfortable. Plenty of TV channels to chose from from most countries in Europe as well as Netflix. The sea views were very good and the balconies a good size. The kitchen was well equipped, although if you are self catering be aware that, apart from cleaning equipment, the owner does not provide any basic essentials such as salt, olive oil, tea, coffee etc. There are several small supermarkets within 5 mins walking distance where you can get most things you need and the larger Mas (better in our opinion with fresh meat and fish sections) and Carrefour supermarkets are within 10 mins walking distance.The proximity to several very good restaurants close by was very positive. We highly recommend Osteria Sapore Italia Nerja and Meson Jose Victoria. We had problems with the check in system, We were supposed to receive information on the day of arrival either by e-mail or by whats app. Neither was done. I was unsure where to find the correct contact information (not clearly stated on the booking information we received) and tried to call Bookings.com centrally for help. This required a complicated calling system to England which kept was difficult to use in while driving in a taxi. After much searching I found, through the Booking.com app on my phone a local number to call and managed to make contact with the owner. The system of getting into the flat requires to call the owner while outside the main entrance to the building. The owner can remotely open the main front door, This procedure has to be repeated while standing outside the actual entrance of the apartment. The owner then remotely opens the door and the keys (2 sets) can be found inside the apartment. While this system works it would have been much easier for us if all this had been better explained prior to our arrival. . In addition there is no helpful written information for guests inside the apartment regarding rubbish disposal , proximity to super markets, local attractions, use of garden and pool etc. One has to find out oneself. In the main entrance hall there are several useful information notices about general apartment rules - most of them related to things you can't do. Finally, the hinges on the entrance door to the apartment made a very loud noise and badly needed oiling. The extractor fan in the bathroom was full of dust and could do with a clean. All in all these were minor points and did not affect our enjoyable stay here.

• Ville (9/5): Nice modern apartment in a great location - Spacious apartment in a great location practically on top of a beach. Great for two and would have been okay for four due to the sofa bed. Two separate balconies for catching the morning and the evening sun. 10 min walking distance from the main attractions and reastaurant streets. Steet side parking is available nearby but there is rarely space. However, there is a vacant lot used for parking nearby (that is free during the evening / night). There was some landscaping and building going on in front of the apartment, but that did not bother us much and it is probably completed before the next spring season starts.

• Mick (9/5): Great location, fabulous views, very spacious, great time hope to be back - Very spacious property on the fourth floor, 2 balconies, sea facing , one off the bedroom the other off the living space,so the sun all day. Very quiet save the sound of the sea. Plenty of restaurants and bars close by. Nothing we didn’t like, some small improvements would have been new beach chairs as those in apartment were broken , would have been nice if there was shower gel and shampoo provided
