• Petra (10/5): Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können die Unterkunft absolut weiterempfehlen. - Freundlicher Hotelier, sehr hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Sehr gute Lage, Parkmöglichkeiten. Direkt gegenüber befindet sich die Burg mit einem wunderschönen Garten. Sehr schöner Ort mit guten Restaurants und Möglichkeiten zum Einkaufen.

• Fabienne (8/5): Charmant hôtel bien situé face au château à quelques minutes du centre de Pylos. - Accueil très sympathique, chambre confortable avec petite terrasse. Parking aisé devant l’hôtel. Hotel face à l’entrée du château à quelques minutes du centre. Terrasse décevante . Vue sur mer gâchée par le bâtiment abandonné. D’autres chambres ont de meilleures vues.

Parking aisé. Très calme. Chambre nettoyée à l'eau tous les jours (y compris le dimanche). Juste à côté du Kastro et à 200 mètres de la place centrale face à la mer. Hôtelier très sympa.m Bonne literie, néanmoins peut-être ferme pour certains.
• Iona (8/5): Perfect location and friendly staff - Perfect location, friendly staff, a balcony, little kitchenette, felt extremely safe and some breakfast provided which was extremely welcome. Overall, a very pleasant stay. Bathroom was fine, toilet seat might need to be changed, plumbing was a little primitive but nothing we can’t work with. Room was fine, but a bit cramped for 3 adults — good for 2 adults and a child. Still met our needs and no major issues.

• SUZIE (10/5): Emplacement et personnel au top - Un petit hôtel très bien situé pour visiter Pylos et la baie de Navarino. Le personnel est très gentil et attentionné. La chambre est fonctionnelle avec une petite cuisine. Tout était parfait.

• Pamela (9/5): A very good apartment. - The property is well sited close to the castle and not far from the town centre. The apartment was clean, tidy and well equipped. The man on reception was pleasant and helpful. The hot water was very slow to run through.
• Lisa (10/5): Great home base for exploring the area. - We loved our stay. Location is excellent, good parking and easy in and out for day trips. Right across from the Pylos Castle- a do not miss attraction! Just a few minutes walk along the waterfront to the main square. Really ideal. The room was large, comfortable, super clean, with lots of thoughtful details. Everything you could possibly need is there. Lovely host was always there to greet us warmly. We will be back!

• GILLES MARC L. (9/5): - Très bon emplacement, situé en face du chateau de Pylos qui est à visiter. Accessibilité à pied de toute la ville pour les sorties dans Pylos. A noter, très grande disponibilité du propriétaire Panayotis, toujours disponible et prévenant pour ses clients. Il vous donne toutes les informations nécessaires, des conseils et s'assure que vous passez un bon séjour dans son établissement et au cours de vos visites dans la région. Une cabine de douche serait mieux qu'un rideau dans la douche.
• Monica (10/5): Great location , rooms and owners! - Roomy comfortable rooms. 5 minute walk to fun village Pylos on the water. Lots of shops and tavernas. The amazing old castle is right next to the property. The owner and his family are on site and very helpful. Parking was easy. Nothing. All good.

• francesca (10/5): Soggiorno perfetto a due passi dal mare - Io e mio marito siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti della nostra permanenza presso To Kastro a Pylos. La stanza era spaziosa, confortevole e sempre pulita grazie al servizio di pulizia quotidiano. La posizione è davvero ottima, a pochi passi dal mare e comoda per visitare il centro. L’host è stato estremamente gentile e disponibile, facendoci sentire subito a nostro agio. Se dovessimo tornare a Pylos, sceglieremmo sicuramente di nuovo questo alloggio!

• Annunziata (9/5): Ottima scelta - Ottima base. Il proprietario e’ stato persona garbata e molto disponibile. La struttura è di fronte al castello e con pochi passi si arriva al centro ed al mare. Pulito, ogni 2 giorni cambio asciugamani e pulizie. Acqua calda. E’ fornito di tutto ciò che serve per mangiare, anche spugne e detersivo per i piatti. Ha un bel balconcino dove è possibile stendere i panni (mollette comprese). Letto comodo, cuscini sia morbidi che duri, tv (solo canali greci), aria condizionata, armadi capienti. La colazione non era contemplata ma c’erano comunque fette biscottate, marmellata, cioccolata spalmabile e qualche bustina di the. Mobilio funzionale e pulito ma un po’ datato. WC scomodo, attaccato alla doccia, seduti non si aveva dove mettere i piedi, ma con tranquillità li abbiamo appoggiati sul bordo doccia a modo di rialzo. Tenda para spruzzo (ma tutti hanno questo sistema). No lavatrice.

• Uweelena (10/5): Excelent - Apartamentul mare, ambele camere. Balconul pentru ambele camere e un bonus. Foarte curat, bucatarie dotata cu tot ce e necesar intr.o vacanță. Zilnic s-a facut curat. Baia un pic cam mica, dar noi ne-am descurcat. Aerul condiționat super ok. Wifi bun. Paturi confortabile. Administratorul locației o persoana de nota 11, foarte atent cu noi. Locația e la maxim 5 minute de centrul localității. Loc de parcare langa locatie si tot in apropiere este castelul Pylos. Recomand plaja Gialova, in loc de Voidokilia. Si recomand o vizită si la castelul din Metoni. Totul a fost super ok.

The owner very kindly let us check in early and provided us with lots of information. He was very friendly and welcoming and even helped to carry some of our bags to the room. The room is spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Parking was easy being out of season (early November)

There are many and famous beaches around, but also the beach just down the hotel deserves a special mention: shower and changing room complete the fabolous scenery of the nearby little port. We would come back in an instant.

• Paul (10/5): Remarkable and excellent stay - Our residence at 'to kastro' was excellent! We had a quiet room on de backside (we asked for) and we enjoyed it. Clean, great, comfortable, excellent and most friendly reception, shady terras, shady place for the car... we would give a 11 if possible!

We asked for an parasol and got two. The room is large with a kitchen that has everything what you need. Balcony with a view of the sea. Extremely clean, the room is cleaned every day. Parking is right across the street from the building. All recommendations for this hotel.

Sea view from the little balcony - easy parking across the road. Five minutes walk to stunning castle (don’t miss it) and into town and harbour front. The owner was welcoming and friendly and at the front desk all day and into the evening. Beds, shower everything fabulous. I have given this a 10 because we loved the room etc so much - but it is near a road that winds out of town and can be quite busy - but it didn’t bother us at night at all. We had a room furthest away from road and in every other way the location was so good that we didn’t mind the car noise.

• Malcolm (8/5): Quiet time in Pylos - Excellent seaview over the bay. Clothes drying lines on side of balcony was helpful. Hot water took a while to arrive in basin. Shower less so. Lounge was small and basic though no room for a bigger one. OK for one.
• Kerstin (10/5): Our stay was most enjoyable! - This is a very comfortable and charming little hotel in charming Pylos, located a short walk from the lively center, across from the castle. We had a spacoius room with a kitchenette and a balcony with a view of the sea. The room was immaculately clean, we had everything we needed, and we particularly enjoyed the view from the balcony. Everything was just perfect!
