• Dietrich (9/5): - Schön und ruhig gelegen. Das Zimmer war völlig in Ordnung. Es war etwas hellhörig vom Flur her gesehen. Mein Fahrrad konnte ich komfortabel unterstellen. Im hoteleigenen Restaurant konnte man lecker essen. Auch das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen Nichts

• Larissa (7/5): Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt völlig ok. - Sauber, nettes Personal Frühstück hätte etwas mehr sein können. Teilweise wurde Brötchen etc. nicht nachgelegt. Bei dem Aufpreis hätte ich etwas mehr erwartet. Lüftung im Badezimmer sehr laut. Klospülung sehr schwach. Babybett nur gegen Aufpreis. Stand in der booking.com als kostenlos Sehr ländlich gelegen. Fussläufig keine Einkaufsmöglichkeit

• Annette (8/5): - Es war sehr sauber Leider gab es eine unschöne Überraschung. Wir hatten mit Frühstück für 134€ gebucht, aber beim bezahlen wurde uns mitgeteilt Frühstück ist extra. Nach unserem Einwand hieß es Boocking.com hat andere Preise und beim nächsten Mal sollten wir direkt bei ihnen buchen.

• Elke (8/5): Praktisches gemütliches Landhotel mit Charme und empfehlenswertem Restaurant! - Sehr solides und sauberes Hotel, gemütlich und komfortabel für Geschäftsreisende und Urlauber gleichermaßen. Zimmergröße, Badezimmer, Balkon, TV, Stauraum, alles passend und angemessen. Sehr angenehm der große Parkplatz am Haus. Alles in allem rundherum empfehlenswert für einen Kurzaufenthalt und mit Sicherheit eine der besten Lösungen im Umfeld. Sehr zu empfehlen ist auch das Restaurant ZUR QUELLE, war mit meinen Kunden da und alle waren sehr zufrieden! Mir ist aufgefallen, dass die Ankunft einer Reisegruppe im Nebenzimmer sehr laut zu hören war. Hätten sich die Gäste nicht von selbst beruhigt, wäre an Ruhe nicht zu denken gewesen. Das Thema hat sich aber schnell erledigt und ich habe super geschlafen!

• Thomas (8/5): Schöner Landgasthof - Ein richtiger Landgasthof. Hat etliche Zimmer, viele mit schönem Balkon nach Südwesten. Hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Mein Einzelzimmer war ungewöhnlich groß. Frühstück ebenfalls gut, es war alles da, was man brauchte. Das ich leider an einem Ruhetag übernachtet habe. Daher musste ich zum Abendessen etwas anderes suchen. Im nahegelegenen Grill bin ich fündig geworden und kann diesen nur empfehlen.

• Alicia (9/5): Comfortable and friendly, would stay again. - Beds were comfortable. Restaurant was top quality food, wine and service. The only Biergarten in the area for miles. Breakfast had many choices and was tasty. Balcony was fantastic, with two chairs and a table - plenty of room to hang out in the fresh air in the mornings. West facing balcony made for very hot afternoons, but drew curtains to keep room cooler. There is a pay service for laundry, but takes 24 hrs to get clothes back. No self service washing machine.

• BMNAF (10/5): Outstanding - Had a great stay. Food and drink was excellent, staff friendly and helpful (everyone wanted to discuss Brexit !), offered directions/assistance without prompting. Waechtersbach is a great little place to use as a base to explore Bavaria. I have friends who live nearby (their house is too small to fit me in), and they recommended it. All in all a thoroughly nice place to stay.
• RoadTripGoddess (10/5): Wonderful Hotel, Friendly Staff - My in-laws live near this hotel and we stayed there in September of 2010 and March of 2014. Both times, the room was immaculately clean and welcoming. The staff was warm and friendly and went out of their way to help us in any way they could. My husband speaks German, but I don't and the staff is equally friendly and helpful toward both of us. The location is close to a train station and some shopping. I felt safe jogging in the mornings. Our children love that it is right next to a farm and enjoy watching the animals. The breakfast, as is typical in Germany, is generous and filling - great coffee! I would opt to stay here over an American chain hotel any day.

Situated in a rural village on the outskirts of a small town one gets a delightful taste of life in a small German community. There are plenty of things to do and see in the surrounding area. We would return anytime.
• catsnharps (10/5): WONDERFUL FAMILY REUNION AT "ZUR QUELLE" - Nine of us cousins stayed at Zur Quelle for a very special family reunion. We found it very comfortable and clean.. The owners, the Kraemers and staff went out of their way to welcome us and were extremely friendly and helpful. My room overlooked beautul farmland, and I was awakened each morning by the sound of church bells and roosters. The food was excellent, especially the buffet breakfast of eggs, bacon, sliced meat, cheese, fruit and wonderful breads. Dinners were very well prepared and tasty. There's a variety of schnitzels, rump steaks and smaller meals. I enjoyed the venizon ragout, red cabbage and rinzwurst with bread with mustard. Desserts were ice cream sundaes, but I discovered the delicious hot chocolate, and had that instead. You can get it in a regular or oversized cup. If you ask for more "schlag" (real whipped cream") they'll bring it in a little cup. A menu in English is available. If you're in the area, be sure and stay at "Zur Quelle"--you won't be disappointed..
