- Erika (3/5): Don’t expect the beautiful refurbed unit. I - Close to the beach and main shopping /restaurant precinct NO AIR CONDITIONING so was drenched in sweat and had barely any sleep for 5 nights. No clear direction was given as to how to access my unit initially. I had to call G1 for better description as to where my unit was. Definitely can’t recommend.
The advertisement shows a beautiful white painted unit with a/c but that’s not reality! Wouldn’t stay here again!

- Judy (8/5): After settling in we felt we got value for the cost and really enjoyed our stay. - Breakfast not applicable. Location was perfect. Close to beach, shops & bus stops. Very noisy as we were on a fairly busy road. Unit needed a good spring-clean.

- Marie (8/5): Appreciated to be close to all amenities on the Mooloolaba Esplanade; river view; value for money. - The location was great and value for money. The two bedroom unit was well presented and very close to all amenities that Mooloolaba has to offer. The river view was exceptional. Additional extras, with items like - glad wrap; extra blankets; large selection of cutlery, crockery, pots and pans, games, detergents. Being two senior grandparents the stairs could be a challenge to others of similar age; We had two grand children and whilst I would not want to downgrade the unit, a pool would have been an added advantage for them, not for us.
The single beds were for small children. I stored the blankets up off the floor onto the bed room shelves (My OCD).
Would we stay again - Yes. whilst not a sea view, the river views and outlook towards the boats, looking over a park, was extremely welcoming, with the morning sun on the balcony whilst having breakfast was very memorable.

- Darren (4/5): Disappointing - The location Old furniture, bits and piecez crockery, cutlery and cookwear. Tny hot water system unfriedly and unhelpful G1 staff. Fans were unsanitiry full of dust. Property stunk on arrival and had to be aired daily.
- Sophia (5/5): Passable - The location was excellent and it was great to have closed parking as well as on street parking. The property itself was extremely dated. In general the furnishings and kitchen utensils are in desperate need of an update, particularly the single beds which were so uncomfortable we actually checked a day early. Bizarrely small beds (smaller than a single) on wheels, directly on tile so they slid around. Unattached headboards which rattled at the slightest move and ancient mattresses which sunk in as soon as you touched them. We walked into the apartment which smelled of dogs and mould (supposedly a pet free accommodation - in next door unit were two yappy dogs but it could be a private residence). On taking our shoes off at the door on entry our feet were covered in dust, not sure when last guests stayed but it felt unopened for some time. A quick mop and wipe would have been good. There was also some congealed fat/cheese in the sink drain, as well as several of the pans, which we actually cleaned ourselves with sponges we bought new as the sponge provided was filthy. The unit itself was very dark and dingy, not at all welcoming particularly in such a bright location. The two dense wooden doors shutting out all light from the balcony is a strange design which require you to put the lights on any time of day. Unfortunately, the lights are so bad they actually give you a headache (way too low light, fixtures full of dead insects). Another comment would be on the bathroom items - tiny hotel sample provided, one shampoo, conditioner and shower gel for 3 people for a 4 night stay. In hotels these are provided per person and changed every night as they are essentially single or at best twice use. Either provide something appropriate for the duration and number of guests, or don't bother. Updating furnishings (IKEA single beds would do!!) and creating a more welcoming space could be done relatively cheaply and would vastly improve this holiday rental.
