Creó que fue un timo y me da mucha inseguridad que cobren algo diferente al precio que sale en Booking

- Manach (8/5): Incroyable immersion - L’emplacement est à 10min à pieds de la gare de bus, en plein centre d’Otavalo ce qui garantit une immersion totale dans la vie andine. L’hôte qui nous a accueilli était merveilleux, pleins de ressources et très sympathique (sorry on a oublié le prénom) ! Il saura vous conseiller et vous renseigner sur la culture régionale. De plus, nous avons pu profiter du festival El Yamor par hasard, de notre fenêtre !! Le lieu est très bien décoré et vous fera sentir à votre aise. L’eau chaude est parfois capricieuse notamment le soir.

- Guest (5/5): it was ok but I wouldn't stay there another time - Well located, there is a terrace and a kitchen you can use Weird atmosphere, There are signs everywhere with prohibitions and warnings of how to behave, almost never toilet paper unless you go and ask, the showers need like 5 minutes to get warm and then they turn boiling hot, it seems an issue if you overstay some minutes after the oficial check out and I didn't like how they treated my friend from ecuador who also stayed a night at the hostal

Generous hostess always offered coffee. She spoke English pretty well. Bell chimed to let her know when someone present. Nice kitchen with plenty of appliances and nice lighter for stove. Soft pillow. Convenient outlets. Clean Pleasant, upbeat atmosphere. Street noise but, of course, couldn't be helped. Bathroom light went out too frequently. Cold shower 🥶
- Rees (7/5): Good - the room was comfortable; although street noise (on a Saturday night) was quite loud. Street noise is not under the hostel's control, of course, but with windows open, it made for a disruptive sleep. It was noisy because the location was great...easy walk to everything we needed. Host was responsive to our request for drinking water; much appreciated. There was a sewer smell that was pervasive. Unfortunately, the smell soured the experience a bit.
- Jared (4/5): Wouldn't recommend - The hostel staff were available to let us into our room at around 11pm when our bus was very late. Rooms were comfortable. The kitchen was extremely dirty and the hostel staff didn't clean up their own mess! They were also not very friendly and really unprofessional. Also the hot water takes about 5 minutes to get going in the shower!

- Christina (6/5): Pleasant - Location. We didn't use anything in the kitchen because everything was kinda dirty (sponges were so old, they were disintegrating). Bathrooms smells of sewage. Furthermore, I'm really the last person who expects everybody to speak english but if you work full time in a hostel in a city like this understanding *single basic words* like "towel" is not too much to ask, imho.
- Matthew (10/5): The staff was extremely helpful and particularly welcoming. I was able to watch the USA vs Mexico game in the lobby. As - The location is in the Centro and within walking distance from the market and many restaurants. Cabs to various parts of the city is great. Don’t forget to visit the various lakes and casadas. Considering the location is in el centro, one should expect there to be noise from the street and in the evening. Overall, it is manageable.

The beds didn't have curtains and it was quite loud in the night with people ringing the doorbell and talking in the hallway. Also there is movie theater next door and seems like the sounds were leaking to the dorm until the screening ended.
- Florian (9/5): nice stay in nice location - the location, how clean that was, towel and products for free free coffee and fruits in the morning the staff very friendly next to a cinema so it’s bearable - we can hear the sounds of the movies til 11pm
- Sherin (1/5): Bad - You can't be sure that you can check in even though you booked in advance. When we arrived the room which we booked wasn't abailable anymore because they were full. Even though they were full there were still rooms available on Booking.com. The receptionist tried to find a solution and after 1 hour the room which we booked was magically available again. They offer fruits and coffee for breakfast but there were no fruits. In our opinion a very bad service. Also the Wifi and toilet flush are extremly bad.

Kitchen facilities were ok and the rooftop terrace was a nice place to sit and chill in the early evenings. No hot water n the shower during our stay

- Colligan (7/5): Cute and gritty - Great kitchen, it’s windows are great for looking out at the street. The terrace is cute as well for fresh air. Staff were helpful, you can store your cosas in a locked room after check out, and I was able to use the kitchen and bathroom after check out. The location is central too! Biggest thing was that they had no hand soap in the hallway or dorm bathrooms. However, they give you your own soap, so you can use that. Sometimes you don’t remember to bring your soap though. If you’re sensitive to noise, consider asking for a room in a quieter part of the hostal. The noise really wasn’t bad, but there is a theater next door that was playing a movie till around 11, but also it is to be expected since you’re staying downtown.

It has a cinema next door and the walls are so thin so u hear and feel the walls vibrating. When I arrived Titanic was showing so its really up to date films as well haha

The person at the desk and taking care - The emplacement, close to everything, the kitchen, the rooftop. noise level at night from people working there… talking loud in the hallway, water system pomp right by one of the dorm’s window. you could here it all night from time to time
