Nike was very pivotal and helping me with directions and helping me find restaurants. Overall I will stay at this hotel every time I come to Chicago. I enjoyed my experience

Ramirez (10/5): - Lo que más me gustó del alojamiento fue su ubicación. Está muy bien ubicado para conocer varios lugares turísticos de Chicago, ya que queda cerca de diferentes puntos de interés. Además, tiene vista hacia “The Bean”, lo cual hizo que la experiencia fuera aún más agradable. No me gustó el parqueadero que ofrecía el hotel. No me dio mucha seguridad porque tenía malos comentarios relacionados con robos de carros. Incluso, el día que dejé mi carro ahí, vi un vehículo con el cristal roto, por lo que decidí retirarlo y estacionarlo en el parqueadero de Millennium Park. Además de parecerme más seguro, también era más económico.

Freeman (8/5): Despite minor inconvenience, would stay again! - The location was perfect! It was close to everything on our itinerary and made walking/getting around easy. The room was spacious for 4 people and it was very secure at night. You needed a key card to enter the building which was nice. The restaurant/ happy hour was 10/10. Great food and friendly staff! We didn’t get cleaning service until the day before we left and had to keep asking for fresh towels. Also, the WiFi didn’t work our entire stay.

Katrina (9/5): Really enjoyed this hotel and very glad we stayed there. Would recommend and stay there again. - Room was beautiful, modern, clean. Bed was comfortable. Shower was Amazing! Best shower I've ever had. Location was good. Restaurant / bar was great. Only thing I could say is that the restaurant was a little expensive but so is everything these days.

delethia (10/5): Solo traveling 2026 - I saw the Arlo hotel on TikTok I solo travel at least four times a year. Chicago was my first trip of the year. My thought walking into the hotel. I saw the beautiful bookshelf and the Photo Booth, which everybody need to experience before you leave for memories ! walking to the front desk, the hotel staff that was very accommodating and very nice and I enjoyed the can water that they gave me. I know something small, but it was really nice been trying to find it since I get home lol . And I really appreciate the deposit because it was so cheap because some hotels in that location charged by the day and I love the day do not extort their customers or their travelers for deposits and all the different surcharges. Also, I met the staff in the restaurant;Idk if he’s the manager of the supervisor. I do not remember his name he was black guy bald guy with square glasses (I’m Woman writing this fyi) , but he was so sweet to me and he gave me pointers on where to go .he was a 10 out of 10 experience even with some of the local residence being rude. he was one of the headlights on my trip. I stayed on the 16th floor had a view of the bean and also across from the Nutella store and Garrett popcorn. The view was literally beautiful and walking distance of everything and close to every restaurant and if you needed something in a hurry, there was a CVS literally across the street. I wasn’t far from all of the tour attractions that were there which was 10 out of 10 and literally 9 minute walking distance from the architectural boat tour and when I come back to Chicago, I will be staying at the Arlo. Until next time Chi City ♥️ It’s not a dislike, but it’s a FYI type of situation. The rooms are very small but it’s for solo travelers or it could be for a very intimate setting so just keep that in mind.
LJLC (10/5): Wonderful staff! - Our room had a lovely view and being on a high floor helped limit the street noise. Great location. Hotel staff were wonderful. Alli, Bryson, Antoine and Holden were especially helpful. We will be back!

Paula (9/5): Fun hotel - Great location. Friendly staff. Comfortable beds & pillows Windows on the 17th floor are lousy. We paid $19 extra per night to be on the top floor and the noise from the cars racing on Michigan Avenue at night was terrible. Very hard to sleep

Laura (9/5): Solid and Central Stay - Check-In was very easy and staff was able to hold our bags before our room was ready. Beds were comfy and the partial view of the park was nice. The room was clean, everything worked, location was amazing, and robes were nice. Controlling the temp of the room was easy and the blackout and privacy shades were convenient. Honestly there wasn't anything that bothered me. The wi-fi got spotty, but I didn't need it for work.

Você consegue ouvir as pessoas dos quartos ao lado abrindo as persianas (elas são barulhentas) , além do barulho da rua. Mas não escutamos conversas em tom de voz normal.

AMANDA (5/5): - Room was very comfortable Could benefit from drapes to give a cozier feeling and to block out noise. Carpeting the rooms could also alter the acoustics dramatically. Staff are amazing Windows could benefit from secondary glazing. We stayed street side and traffic noise was too loud. We stayed the other side and the L was too loud. We've stayed in other properties a few blocks away and had a better street noise experience

Zoe (9/5): Superb location, comfy rooms, friendly staff - The location is outstanding, right opposite the Bean, near the Art Institute of Chicago, and in the heart of everything. It’s close to all the shops and places to eat. Plus, there’s a Starbucks 10 seconds away that opens at 5am for those who are jet-lagged, although the coffee machine in the room is a great option too. The beds were very comfy, the room was a nice size, and the view was great. We ate/drank in the bar a few times and Erica was very friendly and helpful. You can hear guests in the corridors, and if they’re noisy, it may wake you up. You also can’t open the windows, so you’re reliant on air conditioning to heat or cool the room, which can make your throat dry. That said, I would definitely stay at the hotel again.

Decent (9/5): Great location, small, clean and well run hotel with wonderful bedding and a great staff - I've stayed here before a few times when it was differenlty named. It seems like the place has imporved. You know, I often wonder does a hotel have a person who is a detailer? Because before at the hotel there was always a few things with the rooms that was "off". Like, the wall sconce was crooked or there was a chip on the corner of the desk - stuff like that. I guess you could say a bit tired. But things have improved and the room was nicer and the halls were just in better shape... so that made a better experience for me. I want to feel a little special when I travel... and i did. I really loved the bedding and especially the pillows. Very comfy and nice. I already told the staff this - I was upcharged a small fee for a higher floor because the view was supposed to be better. I didnt think the improved view was worth the upcharge - you still just mostly saw the mammoth building across the street. I told the hotel this and they graciously refunded me my upcharge. Very classy. One other thing... I think there could be some improvement in the service in the ALK dining room. It was ok, but a bit scattered. The servers could check on me a bit more rather than just when they drop off the food (Once I had to get up and get flatware from another table bc after they dropped off the food I noticed I had no flatware and the server already disapeared. Not a big deal but this is would elevate the place more.) Ha ha once for breakfast I was served potatos with my eggs and I swear there were 9 little pieces of potatos spread way out over the plate... it was funny. Like, a nice spoonful of potatoes please, guys!
