• carly (10/5): Beautiful villa, with attentive staff and close by to all activities in Ubud - The property was absolutely stunning and very well maintained. Beds were comfy and spacious. The daily breakfast served in your villa was delicious and fresh. The staff would do anything for you. Extremely friendly and welcoming. The pool was clean and beautiful as was the view from the pool area onto rice paddies. Close to everything in Ubud using a taxi. These are also very affordable. I would 100% recommend staying at this villa you will not be disappointed. Thank you Made and Kania for the most wonderful start to our trip to Bali <3 Everything was perfect

• ashlee (9/5): Wonderful stay - The physical space was perfect for our family (kids shared a room/bed) and they couldn’t access the pool without parental help to open doors. There was plenty of space for kids to play and relax, having our own pool meant our kids could swim sun up til sun down without the need for the pool to ‘open’ Kania was a very attentive and friendly hostess and owner Made accommodated and organised all our last minute travel decisions (transfers to and from villa and a day trip). Made even drove us to a restaurant and attraction when we struggled to get a Grab. To top it off Made and Kania put up birthday decorations and delivered a cake for our daughter’s 5th birthday! Some of the tiles around the pool were very slippery It is a short trek to ubud centre but easy enough to get into via Grab

The breakfast in the morning was lovely and just was a perfect end to our time in Bali. Highly recommend if in Ubud beautiful view of rice fields from the pool. Bathrooms are stunning Only thing was accessing is a little bit difficult but to be expected in Ubud. Property is down an alley but all grab scooters go down there or a 1 minute walk to the end to get a car so nothing crazy:)

• Andrew John (10/5): Great Family Stay in Ubud - We loved the staff there. The owner's name was Madé with the help of the caretaker Kania. We were pleasantly met by Kania with welcome drinks (freshly pressed juice) before showing us to our villa. The Villa is beautiful and was kept amazingly clean. The pool for the was amazing and clean, and the rest of the villa had enough space for the kids to be themselves The amenties were on-point, including the bathtub, shower, and the water bubbler for filling up our water bottles or making a nice hot tea. Pleanty of in-house services, including traditional or western breakfasts, massages to your rooms, lunches, or tours. Just ask Madé and he'll help you out. Would highly recommend to families who want to escape the busy areas of Kuta or Seminyak but can still walk to a mart for some late night snacks. There were a few bugs around the outside, but not in the room. Also, we never encountered a single mosquito during our stay.
• Fernando (1/5): Verschrikkelijk! Ergste verblijf ooit - Niets. Het was echt verschrikkelijk! Laten we zeggen dat de foto's die op Booking.com staan op een zeer goede manier gefotografeerd zijn. Er hangt alleen een airco in de slaapkamer, het woongedeelte is gedeeltelijk open. Hierdoor komen er veel insecten naar binnen. De 'platen' die in het woongedeelte hangen zijn erg beschimmelt en dit kan zorgen voor gezondheidsklachten. Wij waren met onze dochter van 1,5 jaar oud op de kamer en dit wens ik echt niemand toe. Misschien als je een backpacker bent en onnodig geld wilt uitgeven, kan dit een prima bestemming voor je zijn als je het bovengenoemde niet erg vindt. Wij zijn de eerste dag gelijk vertrokken en zijn niet blijven slapen. De host heeft niet bepaald inlevingsvermogen, want we moesten alsnog voor een nacht betalen. De host zou hier hoogstwaarschijnlijk wel met een prachtig politiek correct antwoord op komen, maar een gewaarschuwd mens telt voor 2.

• Francesco (10/5): Andateci. - Villa molto bella e ben arredata con bellissima piscina vista risaie, entrambe le camere avevano un bagno grande con vasca e doccia, colazione servita direttamente nella villa molto buona, abbiamo anche optato di fare un massaggio bordo piscina uno dei servizi che la struttura offre, disponibilità di prenotare lo scooter direttamente tramite loro e navetta aereo portuale, posizione ottima super tranquilla e silenziosa 10 minuti di scooter dal centro di ubud, consiglio assolutamente.

• Fusaro (4/5): Bali is not like Bangkok unfortunately - the staff is friendly and helpful. Check In is 2 pm I arrived at 1:50 pm the room I booked wasn't ready so they upgraded me to a larger unit which I didn't like the layout. I told them I wanted the unit I booked. It was ready at 3:10 pm non stop sorry from the staff it was so cringe. I don't want an apology I want what I paid for. I just came from Bangkok i spent 2 months there I've checked into places at 9 am when check in was 2pm and they were ready for me. If you've never been to Bali the service is not like Bangkok but we're in the same country it makes no sense to me and it was a huge disappointment. I booked this unit for the private pool, didn't even use it because it was so dirty. I saw long hair and dirt on the tiles. I wanted them to leave the pool cleaning net but the staff wanted to clean it. The worst part of my stay is the staff just unlocks your door if you don't answer and let's themselves inside the unit. They did this both days I was there the first time I just got out of the shower I had only a towel on and the next day I was on the toilet and a different staff member just let herself in the unit I put my boxer on and went to see her. It was really uncomfortable there felt like I didn't have privacy. I would not repeat or recommend. if booking.com doesn't give me some credit for not getting to use the pool this will be my last time using booking.com

• Carole (10/5): Lovely serene and comfortable home away from home! - The property is set back quite a ways from a busy street which made it very quiet and private with rice fields in the back of the property. What made this property exceptional is the owner Made and his worker Kania who are very friendly and always accommodating. Kania prepares breakfast and cleans your room. Made will also be a tour guide and driver if time allows which was great as he speaks English very well. We most certainly would return as it felt like a home away from home . Thanks again Made and Kania!!🥰 No negatives

The Villa owner Made (Maddy) and his staff are amazing- on hand to help with anything from a lift into Ubud, a meal if you need 1 (at short notice) to a very well maintained and cleaned villa.

• Sony (10/5): Magical and authentic stay in the Ubud area. - The villa is very beautiful. It has 3 identical generous rooms with its own bathrooms. The outdoor living room/kitchen, courtyard, and swimming pool were also amazing. The villa directly backed onto a vast rice paddy field. There is a small drawbridge that provides direct access to the rice paddy field. We had morning sunrise walk in the rice fields everyday. It was a very special and surreal experience. The breakfast was incredible with their rotating menu and option of western or Indonesian. We picked Indonesian for the 2 nights of our stay and were treated to an experience. We also ordered in room dining for one of the dinner night. The management also organised for on site massage by specialized therapist for my wife and I while the kids were playing at the pool upon our request. We also borrowed the bicycles and rode it whilst exploring the neighbourhood. The entry is discreet and so is the area being very local and quiet. It means you are away from the notorious busy traffic and international crowd such as the Ubud Central. We had private driver with car hire so it was the perfect base to explore Ubud area. There are also some very nice Indonesian restaurants and funky cafes in the area. The service by the staff has been first class. We highly recommend Anggira Villa Ubud! None

They provided us with great suggestions for things to see, where to eat and were more than happy to drop off and pick up in ubud area. The 3 bedroom villa has a beautiful outlook over the rice paddys, with the lovely sounds of nature. The staff can organise breakfast and dinner for you if you want to stay at the villa. They also organised scooter hire, tours and drivers. Highly recommend! Nothing

Just book !! - Breakfast was wonderful - plentiful, fresh and prepared with care Location was a short drive from the centre of Ubud which was exactly what we wanted. Made and his staff provided excellent care and hospitality, nothing was too much trouble.

The hall is spacious and opens to the beautiful views of rice terraces; it also has a outdoor swimming pool with deck chairs and a separate comfortable sitting Area. There is a kitchen and dining table too. The service is superb and punctual. They provide a very nice breakfast( included in the price) and delicious lunch and dinner at very affordable prices. • Linda (10/5): Perfect if you seek peace and privacy near Ubud - Made and his team are the best! The villa (which Made built himself) is exceptional and it has everything you need. It’s modern, clean and the pool is nice and refreshing. The villa is located in a peaceful and calm area out of town. You need a driver or scooter to get around, but the team is always happy to help and it’s also possible to call a Grab taxi. It’s a good location to start trips around Bali, e.g. to the rice fields, the monkey forest or the volcano. Made has also organised trips for us, customised to our wishes, and we had the best time in and around Ubud. Highly recommended! 🙏

• Mari (10/5): Lived like queens, treated as family. - The staff and owner Made were all so welcoming and friendly. They would go above and beyond their duties to us, it was such a great experience. They made us feel like queens but also like family. I once joked if I could have dragonfruit juice for breakfast even though it’s not on the menu, and they did it! I had it every morning after that. The villa was always impeccably cleaned and tidied after our excursions. The pool area was also very nice. Such a peaceful location, far from the noise and bustle of the city center, but close enough by car if we wanted to eat out. Made drove us from and to the airport, like the sweetest uncle! We hope to be back again. Lots of mosquitoes, but understandable because we were next to the rice paddies. We were prepared with repellents, thankfully.

They facilitated a really good scooter, very helpful with suggestions of places to visit, the yard was maintained well, very clean place, very humble people. The location was ok for us because we had a scooter to move around and away from the busy Ubud town which we loved. The food i.e. breakfast was also fresh :) No enough room for parking if you had a car but if you have a scooter you’re good to go.

• Tony (9/5): Great stay - Loved the staff and how helpful they were. Owner was amazing. We stayed in both the 2 bed and the 3 bed. We didn’t like the 3 bed as we have young kids and all the bedrooms are apart (which to be far to the property they told us before we went) Much prefer the 2 bed than the 3. The bathrooms are half outside but I guess this is Bali style.

• Angel (9/5): Beautiful Villa, amazing food, caring hosts - Pool was huge. Indoor area was beautiful and modern with a fridge. Highlight for us was the food which was absolutely delicious. The staff here were so caring after I fell ill with Bali belly (from restaurant food - NOT Angirra Villa food). They brought me bread and bananas at our request and checked in on me regularly. Thank you for your hospitality. The doors were very squeaky. This wouldn’t normally annoy us, but since I had Bali belly and was going to the toilet often, it was very noticeable in the middle of the night.

• Hugh (10/5): Really strong recommendation, if you want to stay near Ubud you’d struggle to beat Anggira Villa. - Made and his staff were so incredibly warm and welcoming, nothing was too much. He gave us lifts to Ubud and local attractions, advice on what to do and where to go, told us lots about Bali and Balinese culture. The facilities were beautiful, you could happily just stay there, away from the chaos of Ubud, but it’s only a short drive to reach town for restaurants, shops etc. The food at Anggira was delicious, super fresh and sensibly priced, about on a par with most restaurants. Lovely to see the bats, butterflies, dragonflies and lizards around the buildings, and even a firefly. Everything was kept immaculately, so much attention to detail. We loved everything, but please note that the access is down a little alleyway so easily missed, there is a sign at the end and it’s opposite a small stall. Due to the proximity to rice paddies there are mosquitoes in the evenings, so make sure to pack some insect repellent if you’re staying up much after dark.
